New Life Online 162 Dracotaur

-Icy Plains, Alliance Camp-

Legion of undead is now walking towards us. Their body is covered with a green aura like the aura oozing from the body of the World Boss. He's the one who resurrected them but I can tell that those bodies were just revived but no power to harness their past life potential. They are just like zombies being ordered by someone.

"Come on now. No need to be shy. I just want to kill all of you, nothing biggy. Oh, I almost forgot. WAKE UP, MY GENERALS!" Is he talking about the same thing I am thinking about right now?

If the World Boss will resurrect them like the others then there will be no problem but...

"That took a while, Boss. Huff!" Not the Minotaur! Oh jeez! He's not just got resurrected but he's conscious too! Though he still looks like a zombie with his face.

Dogman and the snake woman are also got resurrected. Which means our effort was all in vain because they are still alive as long as the World Boss is with them. We don't have much energy left to fight again. We've been too exhausted for a long time now.

"I forgot to tell you who I am. I'm the FROZEN KING. Just one more step and I can be one of the G.o.ds of New Life World!" What is he talking about? Real G.o.ds? I don't get it.

"That's absurd! G.o.ds don't exist in this game. I have been traveling around the world of New Life but those temples I've found don't have anything at all. Not even a sign that a G.o.d exists." Sis... So these G.o.ds are some kind of monsters or creatures too?

"Then you haven't done anything significant yet that will seek the attention of the G.o.ds." The Frozen King sure do know about it if it's real or not.

"What do you mean anything significant? If being the strongest player isn't that significant then what else should it be?" She's right. If G.o.ds really do exist then Sis will get their attention first.

"Do you know why they call me the Frozen King? It's because before humans came to this World, I was once the King of this Land. With my power, I was able to make every monster fear me, all every living thing. I was too greedy of power that I learned dark magic which made me able to summon the dead. What's my biggest experiment? I killed myself and became the Immortal King! Then one of the what-so-called Real G.o.ds told me that what I did was really something terrible. We fought really hard, my army and my own power against her alone but I didn't stand a chance. She uses the element of Ice that froze my entire army making them useless even if I can resurrect them. I tried my best to defeat her but she's just too strong for me. She froze me and locked me in that forsaken skull temple. Now, with the help of these Rare Bosses seeking for power making them evolve to Legendary Bosses, I was able to escape that prison by giving me souls enough to destroy the spell that the Ice G.o.d cast upon me. That's why they called me the Frozen King. And now, I am here to take what's mine!" The Frozen King's story is really boring and long that I almost doze off.

"Is it about food? I really got lost while you were talking. Is there a peaceful way that can end this war?" Sis is trying to reason with a chatty World Boss.

"Yeah, you just have to rest peacefully, forever. How does that sound?" A not-so-good suggestion coming from the Frozen King.

"Tsk... We'll show you what the human G.o.ds can do!" Every one of the Thirteen G.o.ds is all at the front lines encouraging their allies to fight!

It seems like our only hope is to really fight the World Boss head-on with the strongest players of New Life Online. We don't have a choice.

"Ok then. My undead Legion, kill them and let my army grow stronger!" The undead monsters and bodies of dead players started to move towards us.

Because of the surprise attack in the middle of our camp, we left the watchtowers and the walls to go to near the Vanguards Stronghold. It's the only safe place near us that's why Aurora a.s.sembled the rest of the warriors and defenders in the front. I don't think that we can keep up the fight.

"ORDER OF LIGHT'S ULTIMATE DEFENSIVE FORMATION!" Zeth, who just recovered, ordered. The Order of light defenders are at the front raising their s.h.i.+elds protecting those players behind them. Deandre is the defender's leader. Their s.h.i.+elds are doing well blocking every undead. Unlike the first wave, monsters and Orcs are powerful enough to break their defenses but this time, they are lacking the strength to do so.

"ORDER OF LIGHT'S s.h.i.+ELD CHARGE!" It's another order from Zeth. They pushed their s.h.i.+elds at the same time knocking the undead monsters back. After that powerful push, they charged with their s.h.i.+eld up! They managed to deliver a good initiation but what's next?

"ORDER OF LIGHT'S SWORDS OF LIGHT!" Warriors behind them made a high jump and slammed their swords with light element towards the undead! With just that, they were able to destroy hundreds of undead. They manage to destroy the body of those undead creatures making them turn to ash. Order of Light's light element power is very effective but even if they have the guild with the largest number of people, it's not enough alone to defeat all remaining undead, not to mention there's still a World Boss to beat and his lackeys.

"Aurora, should we help them? We might be in the upper hand right now but it won't last long." Daimond is still eager to fight after all that happened.

"Not yet. We'll wait for the right moment. Just get ready." I hope sis has some sort of idea right now.

The battle of the Order of the Light and undead still continues. Because of the undead's weak resistance to the light element, their numbers are getting lower now yet we only lose few people. If Miss Lili was here, this battle should have ended a while ago.

"MARI! IT'S YOUR TURN NOW!" Zeth ordered. The last time I check the others, they were preparing for something.

"ORDER OF LIGHT'S LUMINOUS SKY!" Mari is preparing to use an even more powerful spell!

The supports raised their wands and staves at the same time and the sky was once again can be seen after that darkness all over the place. The sky started to s.h.i.+ne so brightly that it's fighting with the darkness of the Frozen King, thousands of supports' power against the power of a single World Boss. The undead army started to move slower and it's like they are losing their strength. It's because of too much light elemental power! Once again, we are really owning the army without any sacrifices this time! Almost there guys!

"That's why I reserved my best warrior. I NOW SUMMON YOU DRACOTAUR!" The Frozen King cast something like a summoning spell! Oh my G.o.d! He said a Dracotaur! What's a Dracotaur though...

A black hole was created beside the World Boss and claws started to show up within. Then its head and body started to emerge. It's like a humanoid dragon!

"Long time no see, Frozen King. So what do you want with me now?" The Draco-something probably is pretty close with the Frozen King.

"It's Almighty Frozen King, not just Frozen King. Where are your manners? Did it also weaken the last time Ice G.o.d almost killed you? Anyway, my army is being toyed with. Help them will you?" I think I'm right... They're really not friends.

"Of course, Frozen King." I can feel that he's not like the other half human Legendary Bosses. I can feel that something is really weird with this one.

"It's Almighty Frozen King! d.a.m.n it!" Frozen King exclaimed...

*SWOOOOOs.h.!.+* He jumped from the location of the Frozen King and landed towards our defenders!

" BOOOOOOOOOOM!" The defenders tried to block him but he's too large and the impact is so powerful that the defenders who got caught by his ma.s.sive force were squashed and sent flying!

"DRACOTAUR CLAWS!" The Dracotaur swiped his hands so fast that he killed a lot of defenders in just a couple of seconds! He's too strong even against Order of Light best defense!

"He's too strong!" One of the defenders who lost one of his arms is still trying to defend. Their formation was destroyed and most of the defenders in the affected area were forced to pull back. He's not really an undead so their light power isn't really affecting him that much. I don't know where he came from but I don't want to even know.

Warriors and a.s.sa.s.sins, who got caught by his power, even with bless and buffs of supports were so defenseless against him that they got killed the moment they got hit by this monster. Fighting him in close combat will never be a part of my idea.

Deandre and the other defenders ran towards his comrades to reinforce but can they really do anything? Who will try to stop the Dracotaur?!
