"What did you just say?! That can't be right. Raven's guild can't just cancel our deal with the alliance." Maximus can't really believe that Ravens would betray them.

"Sir, they are attacking the civilians that are trying to escape the city. Thankfully, a group of unknown a.s.sa.s.sins managed to protect them in time but they really need some help!" They're probably our guild members!

"How did they enter the East Gate?" Maximus didn't antic.i.p.ate such treacherous move.

"Sir, most of them are flying from above and we thought that they were reinforcement but we were ambushed instead. They took advantage of it and opened the gates from the inside. Luckily, some of us survived to report." He does look like he's wounded.

"Those Raven traitors! Send our best a.s.sa.s.sins around the area to help those unknown a.s.sa.s.sins to protect the people. Those guys must be from Scythus' guild. We can't send defenders because we have to protect the East gate." a.s.sa.s.sins against a.s.sa.s.sins... nice plan. I have to check it out.

Thankfully, I managed to get away from the Moondog. He may still be nearby but I don't think I can beat him now.

I rushed towards the East gate where the Ravens ambush the civilians. What a cowardly thing to do.

*CLAAAAN CLAAAANG!* I heard the exchange of blows from afar! I focused my mana on my eyes to at least see what's happening from afar. I need to reach them as soon as possible!

Thankfully, Scy ordered the a.s.sa.s.sins of our guild to check the area. If not because of his order, the civilians would have been slaughtered by now.

"We have to go back to the center of the City! This way!" It was Beat. Beat and the others are guiding the people back to the city. The others are doing their best to defend the civilians. a.s.sa.s.sins are not supposed to defend but they have no choice.

"Oh, man! There are just too many of em!" Kaita said while blocking the foe's attacks. Zhix also helps her defend the people.

"There is no honor attacking the weak. Taste my SILVER FLAME CHAKRAM!" Zhix twirls his chained-chakrams around him slicing those near him with fire and light combined!

"Hey be careful with your attacks there! I almost got caught, d.a.m.n it!" Kaita exclaimed while being near him.

"There are defenders and warriors coming from the east gate! We need to make haste!" Selene reported.

"I'll buy us some time! Ma.s.s PRESSURE!" Uri used her special spell that greatly slows down the opponents with a gravity-like spell. Flying a.s.sa.s.sins from above fell and the defenders and warriors suddenly stopped from moving.

"Well, well, well... If they aren't the brats from the Guild of Scythus. Why are you even helping the Order of Light? Did you know that your leader was mistreated here?" It's Siren, the leader of the Ravens Guild! I am getting near but I'm almost there!

"It's none of your business. We will destroy you after what you've done!" Kaita's kind of brave if you ask me.

"Pfffft! Is that a joke?! Come and let's see what you've got brats!" Siren said laughing. She's underestimating our a.s.sa.s.sins.

*SWOOOOOOOSH SWOOOOOOs.h.!.+* Both Kaita and Zhix looked at each other and decided to rush towards her! They move with coordination!

*BAAAAAAAAM BAAAAAAAAM!* Their strikes were so fast but Siren blocked both of their attacks with her daggers!

"What?!" They didn't expect that their fast a.s.sa.s.sination skills were blocked easily!

*SWOOOOOOOs.h.!.+* Selene appeared in front of her after she blocked the attack from both sides. Selene tried to slash her up but then she flapped her wings and managed to get back on time!

"Not so fast!" *SWOOOOOOOs.h.!.+* After getting back, Kaita and Zhix popped up behind her yet once again she was able to dodge their attacks! What the heck?! Her ability to dodge is insane!

Even Selene's precise attack was useless against Siren!

"Ugh! Oh, shoot!" Uri's ma.s.s pressure spell was canceled and those nearby Ravens were able to move once again. Trying to stop a large number of targets and hold them for more than ten seconds, that's really something.

"Hahaha! Attack them now and show them no mercy! RAVEN'S FEATHER BLADES!" She unleashed a lot of feather blades from her wings that hit every one of those who attacked her! She even hit some of her own allies!

*BAAAAAM BABABAAAAM!* They are getting beaten up and outnumbered! They even used their monster forms but with them against the army of Ravens, it's too much for them! This is bad!

"ACK!" Uri was pushed down and is being surrounded by the army from the Ravens! She used all of her mana that she can't fight back anymore. I don't have time to stop them!

"Now you're done!" One of the a.s.sa.s.sins raised his sword and ready to kill Ashley!

"DARK BLADE!" *SWOOOOOOOOs.h.!.+* Suddenly, a familiar aura showed up slas.h.i.+ng everyone that surrounds Uri!

"Woah! You guys sure got messed up a lot. You guys go ahead and protect the civilians. I'll handle the rest here. Uri, rest for a bit because they will be needing your healing." It's Scythus! The army of Raven Guild stopped from advancing after seeing Scythus! What great presence!

"Are you sure? There are hundreds of them inside this city and thousands outside." Beat asked worriedly.

"Just do what I say." He just ordered. They fled back to the city because they don't have a choice. Thankfully, some of our guild members were seriously injured but they are luckily alive. If Scy didn't arrive in time then I guess some of them might have died. I just arrived and I failed to help them. If only I was fast enough...

"Be careful." He said his farewells to Scy.

"I didn't really expect you to help this guild after all that happened. Now, you are going to face all of us alone? The West Gate will fall in just a matter of time. Do you even think you can save this city from falling?" Siren asked. I just hid for now. I don't want to mess things up because it's what Scy ordered.

"A human would eventually help those who are in need. Unlike you who broke a deal and joined the forces of the Frozen King just to have power. Not to mention, slavery is a thing in your city too." Scy... I can't believe what I can hear right now. Why are they doing things like this when it's just a game?

"You are clueless on what's happening in the real world and this world. We have to do some things to survive. Have you heard about the New Life Project? If you're clueless, then I suggest you check it out before it's too late for you." Siren explained. I think I heard of that project before but I'm not so sure.

"We all have reasons but do you think that's enough to even do such things like this? You're just a monster like them!" Scy's aura is getting stronger... I can feel it.

"Hahaha! Don't make me laugh. Of all people, you are telling me that? Did you forget what happened in the tournament? You are a monster and now, we have to kill you over and over again until you decide to get the h.e.l.l out of my face! RAVENS!" She ordered her guildmates to attack Scy at the same time! This is really unfair!

"Well, I guess you're right. I'm a monster! REAPER'S WRATH!" The atmosphere suddenly changed. His armor changed into full-scaled dark armor. I once again felt the aura he unleashed when he was fighting the Centaur King but this time, it's even more powerful.

"What are you waiting for?! Attack him!" Siren ordered. For some reason, they don't want to get near him. He's emitting a tremendous malicious aura that it causes them to fear him! But they have to attack him so they decided to attack after all. Hundreds of them rushed towards him at the same time!

"REAPER'S DEATH HARVEST!" They jumped at him like they are going to destroy his body to pieces but...

*ZWOOOOOOOOOOs.h.!.+* In just one giant slash, they are the ones who got chopped down like animals! Blood rained through the sky and around the area!

"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" They cried in pain after getting dismembered. He even didn't use elemental attacks. It was pure strength! Even their weapons and armors didn't help them to survive!

"What is going on?! What the h.e.l.l are you?!" Raven suddenly felt fear in her spines. Even I still can't believe that this person who slaughters them is the person who leads our guild.

"GYAAAAAAA! WAAAAAAAH!" At first, they tried to kill him but he won't stop on rampaging! Every swing of his sword is like carnage! I can't tell how many people he killed by now because most of the bodies were cut in half. There are probably thousands of them but against someone like Scy... they're just as good as useless!

Now, they decided to get away from him! Some of them fled the battle and are now running for their lives. He didn't only spread fear but it also caused panic to those who can feel his aura. Even I can't watch it without trying to close my eyes every time he kills someone down. The way he kills them is not humanly too.

"WHO SAID YOU CAN JUST RUN AWAY?! REAPER'S SECOND FORM! FIERY DEATH CHASE!" He's now using two swords that burst with flames and I don't think he's going to even take a break... He even transformed into his second form just to move faster! His armor changed into scarier one and his face started to look like an evil one! He mercilessly chases them down and cut the h.e.l.l out of them leaving them burning like an a.s.sa.s.sin!

"Grrrrrrrr! This is it! RAVEN'S WRATH FINAL FORM! RISE, WARRIORS OF h.e.l.l!" Final Form?! Seriously?!
