New Life Online 228 Staying Behind

-Dark Brotherhood Castle-

I'm sensing a lot of movement throughout the castle. They move so fast and I can tell that they are starting to scatter.

"Shhh... let's move fast. Kaita, lead the way." Beat ordered. Thankfully we have a bit of a handful of people in our group.

We headed straight to the other path Two Teeth was telling about and I can tell that both paths have the same amount of guards so even if we go back, there's no way we could not meet any enemies.

We hid for a bit because there's a lot of guards lurking around. It looks like they have good sneaking masteries but when it comes to tracking, they're quite bad, not to mention they can't use any spells to enhance their tracking abilities.

"Did you see any suspicious ones?" One of the guards asked the others.

"No, Sir. We're searching every place but so far, no signs of them." One reported.

"They were able to take down the best warrior we have, even our guild leader can't defeat him in hand to hand combat."

"Really? Did they kill him?" Most of them are surprised.

"No, he fell asleep. They probably used a tranquilizer to put him down. Even if there's a hundred of them, fighting him without spells is like suicide." He's right. He's really a beast. I can't believe they have someone like that in their guild.

"Ok, enough with the chitchat. Let's try to find them. Both our leader and Order of Light's leader are really p.i.s.sed right now. They said that this would be a hindrance to their plans but they're the only ones who know this plan. Move out!" They scattered once again. Plan... are they talking about the plan that I heard earlier?

I checked the surroundings and it seems like Dark Brotherhood's population is really small and with only the spell restriction barrier, they will be having a hard time defending this place if their hideout has been exposed unless they create defensive mechanical artillery.

We're getting closer and closer to the exit. I hope there's no trap ahead or running and avoiding traps at the same time would slow us down really hard.

"It looks like the old geezer was really part of the conspiracy from the start. He tried to look like he doesn't know what is happening and that fooled us. I don't know why he's doing this but he'll pay for this madness." Scy told us while he's still carrying me. I hope I'm not being a burden to him.

"I think what they're doing right now is related to their plan," I replied.

"Yeah, it looks like it. But for now, let's concentrate on going out of this horrifying place." Scy replied.

Most of us trying our best not to be detected. With one wrong move, we might all be in big trouble. If we're caught, I'm pretty sure they won't kill us because if they're going to, then they should have done it when we're at war. It's like they're trying to isolate some people out from the war, like Scy and Sh.e.l.la.

-Dark Brotherhood Exit-

After trying our best, we finally reached the exit but... there are like more than twenty people guarding the place and they don't look like normal players. With their gears, they're probably high-level players. I don't think we can take down twenty people without one of them calling for backup.

"What are you guys worrying about?" Scy asked.

"For starters, if we get caught here, we might all end up in one prison cell," Osia replied.

"Well, last time, I'm just trying to protect both Akko and Sh.e.l.la but now, this is a different story."

"Can you walk now Chara?" He asked me.

"I'm pretty sure I can now," I replied.

"Ok then, let's show these guys how strong we are even without using spells." Wait, what? Is he saying we'll fight head on?

*SWOOOOOs.h.!.+* Out of nowhere Scy, Beat and Kaita jumped at the same time!

Scy landed on one of the guards delivering a ma.s.sive kick and after he reaches the ground, one guard tried to attack him with a sword from the back but it did nothing! Scy grabbed his hand and unleashed two ma.s.sive body blow and a face punch to end it. The others did well too!

While they are busy fighting, the rest of us sneaked to the exit. They caught a lot of attention but they are beating every single one of the guards who come.

We were able to reach the exit but it seems like it's another long pathway. We don't know where it might lead us but somehow we need to go fast.

We checked outside and it seems like they're still fighting the other guards. There's probably a hundred of them now.

"Hahaha! I never thought that this guy can do something like this." The big man appeared with the others!

"I'm sorry to say this but last time, you just got lucky because I'm just unprepared you know," Scy replied. Does that mean he also got beaten by that guy?

"Don't worry, I will once again smash you and get your a.s.s back inside that pathetic prison!" The big man started moving towards Scy and his group while they are still trying to defend themselves from the other guards.

*BAAAAAAAM!*

"What the heck?! You?! I know you helped them find this place but you're also trying to let them escape?" Two Teeth stopped the big man from advancing.

"Shut up! You guysh kicked my group out of thish guild. Now'sh the time for the payback!" It looks like Two Teeth's grudge against them is too great, and I even thought that this was a trap for us.

"Haha! You pathetic little sh*t! Come at me!" The big man provoked Two Teeth and yeah, Two Teeth rushed at him.

"Take this.h.!.+" Two Teeth tried to make a side slash using his sword but it was so easy to dodge!

The big man blocked the attack by stopping Two Teeth's arm. Even using both hands to attack, the big man still was able to stop the attack with just one hand and...

*BAAAAAM* A side-punch was unleashed by the big man!

Two Teeth got hit pretty bad and got knocked back! He fell to the ground, just like what happened to me. This big man loves to counter.

"Now! How about this!" The big man is now ready to end the fight by preparing another attack!

*SWOOOOOSH* But the fight didn't end from that! While Two-Teeth is down, he grabbed a dagger from behind and made a surprise attack! He slashed the knee of the big man using a dagger and then after that, he pierced it with the dagger! He was caught off guard! That would sting!

"Ugh! What the h.e.l.l?!" Suddenly, the big man lost his balance!

Two Teeth rolled back and in just a second, he was able to stand up. While the big man is still down, Two Teeth grabbed his sword and ready to unleash another lethal attack!

"GYAAAAH!" Two Teeth shouted with anger. I don't really think it's necessary, though. An overhead slash from Two-Teeth is coming towards the big man!

*SWOOOOSH SWOOOOs.h.!.+*

A couple of daggers flew towards Two Teeth! Some of the daggers. .h.i.t him pretty bad but some of them missed.

"Why are you even here? I didn't ask for your help." The big man said. It looks like someone helped him. It's... it's s.h.i.+v.

"I don't want one of my best men gets killed in front of my face. Also, this is entirely your fault for not doing your job properly. Now, we have to capture the ladies and that annoying ugly guy again. Pssst! Get them!" s.h.i.+v ordered. Ugly guy? Like you're not one.

*BAAAAAAM! BAAAAAAM!* What?! Two Teeth protected the way to the exit by himself. He slashed every guard that tried to get inside. He got hit multiple times but he just took them! He's pretty tough! Scy and the others decided to run but he stayed.

"You bratsh go on. I need to show them what they had let go." Two Teeth said while pulling daggers out from his body but... his wounds are healing by themselves!

"Are you sure about this? You might die." Scy's right...

"I would love to shee them try." And he smiled showing his two teeth... He seriously needs to get it fixed.
