Wow, I never expected that I will be meeting a lot of strong people in one place and it looks like this is not going to be so smooth. Now, another battalion of soldiers showed up, probably numbering more than a thousand.

"Sir, we should capture these traitors now while we have the chance!" Deandre expressed his eagerness.

"Are you saying you would risk the lives of your people and the whole city just to get us?" Scy asked. Then suddenly most of them began to show seriousness on their faces.

"It might be tough to go to war against you guys if we are outside of the city but now that we're inside, this place will be in a mess. I will burn this city in half if I have to." I can tell that Scy is really serious right now.

"So what's your point? Do you think a couple of guys can stop thousands of high-level players?" Zeth... you, naive.

"Every single one of us here is worth a hundred or even a thousand. Do you know why we're here? Because we were locked up by the Dark Brotherhood below your castle." Scy explained.

"Wait, are you telling us that we're with Dark Brotherhood? They're sc.u.m and we will never make a deal with them. How can we..."

"This path is a way to their hideout, probably sponsored by your Leader because we heard him talking to their Dark Brotherhood's Leader." Scy interrupted him.

"Hey, you. Can you take a look at that place?" Zeth asked one of his guards.

"But Sir, isn't that one of the holy grounds? We are not allowed to enter there unless we're the leader of the guild. The place also won't let us use any mana related spells." The guard replied. Now that makes sense.

"You spied on us and using the holy ground to make it look like it's some hideous place for those sc.u.mbags because no one can enter that place?! The old man is a respected man and I believe that he won't do such a thing!" Zeth is starting to get agitated. Zeth... you, naive...

"Then tell me, where's your leader?" Scy asked.

"I'm here. It looks like you are trying to start a confusion which you're good at. Don't twist your words and fight like a man. My people are not foolish to be tricked by you like how you tricked that pizzloving creature." Suddenly, Maximus showed us out of nowhere. He probably used the other path...

"Well... I wasn't tricked but you've got it right with the pizzloving creature." I don't think that's where you should focus, Aurora.

"Sis... don't say that... It's embarra.s.sing." Zia too... Are they really taking this seriously?

"We don't know what you're planning but it's your decision, old geezer. Now, we would like to get out of this place. If you're really a man, you will let us get out of this unG.o.dly place and fight us when the right time comes and not hiding us in that hideous place." Scy suggested. Would they really let us out of here?

"What the h.e.l.l are you talking about?!" Deandre released his anger.

"Just shut up you jerk or I'll rip your neck! Let the old men talk!" Celeste looks like she's getting the idea of what is going on.

"Hmm, I'm not that old so please don't say, old man... I can tell that you're trying to use morality against us. Are you trying to say that we should let go a group of people trespa.s.sing in our city? If I let my people go sneak inside your guild, would you let them go because they're outnumbered?" Now... the old man got a point there.

"Oh, no... you got it all wrong old geezer. That wasn't begging for mercy, but a warning. If you won't let us out here. I will burn this place to the ground and won't let anyone here get out alive. Oh, yeah, I should have burned this place to the ground when I had the chance." Scy... you're scary. He sounds so savage but I think that it's just a figure of speech... ha ha...

"You do know that you are in our territory and we have thousands of people to kill every single one of you. Don't forget that I do have a plan too." It looks like the leader is getting serious now. He might be good when it comes to calculations and decision making but with Scy's strength... I don't know for sure if he's just bluffing or not but I heard he destroyed half of this city from the last tournament.

"We have Aurora and the Frozen King Slayer. Oh, and I'm still the second strongest player of New Life Online, so how about that? Should I get serious now?" Scy's intimidation ability is way too strong. It's probably because of his charisma.

"Let's see about that. People of Order of Light! LET THERE BE LIGHT!" Maximus ordered! Holy c.r.a.p... It looks like the war is really starting! We are surrounded by hundreds of defenders right now. We don't have a...

"FIERY EXPLOSION!"

*BOOOOOM* A ma.s.sive explosion happened and it looks like Scy created a path for us! Every single one of the defenders has raised their s.h.i.+elds and protected by supports barriers but... it didn't help them to not get knocked back by his attack!

Before we could get through, the other defenders filled in the way. There are just too many of them to get past.

"Even if you kill lots of us, there will be reinforcement coming this way. We will stop and capture all of you! SPELL CASTERS, READY TO FIRE!" Maximus ordered. This is bad. If we get hit by multiple spells in one go, we will all be dead.

The defenders backed off not to get affected by the spells that are flying towards our direction.

"TIME STOP!" Before the spells. .h.i.t us from above, Aurora used some kind of force field that stopped every spell above us! Wow! That's so great. Spells keep on coming but they just stopped above us and they're not working!

"So, you really are taking their side now, Aurora. And I thought you're smart to avoid someone like him." Maximus is trying to convince Aurora too.

"Stop messing around old man, I know everything," Wait, what? Why not just tell us what is happening if she knows it.

"Tsk, that's your choice. Let's see how long you would last. Marie, let's do something about her spell." Maximus ordered.

"SPIRIT CALLER'S WRATH! GRAND NULLIFICATION!" Marie used her monster soul! In just one sway of her hand, the spells started to move again! She dispelled such high-cla.s.s spell in an instant!

(Scy's thought: "What the heck?! I can't stand him ordering my Sis like that! I'll kill him soon!")

"TIME STOP! I can do this all day girl." Aurora replied. The spells stopped again. It looks like after her spell got nullified, she just used it again and it seems that Aurora is using less mana than how much Marie use her nullification spell considering she's using her monster soul to boost her abilities.

"FIRE BOOSTER!" Out of nowhere, Scy rushed towards Mari! Wait, is he going to take kill her?!

"Stop him!" Maximus ordered but he flew up ahead!

"UNITY BARRIER!" The barrier protected them and stopped Scy from advancing...

"FIERY KICK!"

*BAAAAAAM* What the h.e.l.l?! The barrier shattered and he's still going for her!

"SPIRIT CALLER'S ULTIMATE PUs.h.!.+" She tried to push him back but his fire booster thingy is so strong that after Scy getting pushed, he just flew again towards her! Random spells and arrows also flew towards him but he was too fast to hit!

"KYAAAAH!" He was too far for even Zeth to stop him! He finally reached her and caught her. Azzie tried to stop him but after grabbing Marie, he flew up ahead towards one of the tallest buildings!

I can't tell what's going on but Spirit Caller's aura was gone and it seems like he was able to make her unconscious for the lack of movement. Is he is trying to make her not partic.i.p.ate in the fight?

"What the h.e.l.l?! Now you left me no choice! DEFENDERS! CHARGE!" Maximus ordered. Now they're unto us.

Defenders now change stance. They unsheathe their swords and spears and they are slowly charging at us. This is bad. We're still injured from previous fights. I can't be of any help.

"I really hope Bright Edge is with me right now," Zia mumbled around. Everyone is getting ready to fight.

Hmm? The Uri girl came to me and is now trying to heal me. Wow, I'm starting to feel better. Upon checking from behind, Two Teeth seems to be ok now. She might have healed him before me.

Scy came back to us and it seems that he was able to keep Marie out of the fight. Her abilities are way too overpowered disabling our spells. Now I hope we can really do something or the defenders will grind us to pieces.

"Akko, I guess it's time to show them the true power of Life Guild," Scy said. True power? Are they holding back this whole time?

"I'm eager to use both of them once again. Now's the time to go all out! SCORCHING NYMPH AND s.h.i.+NING NYMPH'S WRATH!" Did she just use two monster soul at the same time?!

"When talks won't work, I guess I have to do something about it. REAPER AND THUNDERBIRD'S WRATH!" Scy also used two monster souls... just what am I seeing right now?!
