New Life Online 233 Sandstorm And Thunderstorm

It took us a while but we were able to cut their numbers. They have good offense and defense but it won't work for people who became strong fighting real battles from the enemies around the world of New Life Online and not just by training and practicing inside the castle. I played for a long time now and I fight better when I'm in a pinch.

"Deandre, surrender now or we don't have a choice but to end your life here!" By the looks of their formation, they are less than a hundred now and they're mostly supports and spellcasters.

Deandre was supposed to be as strong as Zeth because they started together but he dies too much that he can't progress at all. That's the toll of being on the frontlines. You just don't fight to save your people but you also fight risking your overall levels.

"You fools! The other guilds are on their way to help us! You are all going to die here!" It seems like the second large scale battle starts here.

"If we can defeat the so-called "Strongest Guild" then who can stop us?" Leion's pretty excited too. Let's not get too c.o.c.ky now.

Leion started rus.h.i.+ng towards the wounded Deandre and I can tell that he's going for the kill.

*CLANG!*

Someone suddenly showed up and deflected his attack! What?! I didn't even feel his presence!

"I can." He's the guild leader of Vanguard, Sieg!

"d.a.m.n it, Bro! Why are you here?!" Leion exclaimed.

Like what I expected. Vanguard's Anti-Spellcaster, Warden is already helping Azzie's side and Vanguard's Reaper is helping the Brotherhood.

"This is not just for the game anymore, Leion. It's hard to explain but this is for the greater good." I thought Vanguards won't be a problem anymore because Leion is on our side now. It looks like they haven't talked about it yet.

"Did that old man talked you into this? You know that man is full of c.r.a.p, right?" Leion is starting to get agitated. I'd feel the same if I'm in his situation but I respect Petula's decisions.

"No, I decided to do this because it's what I'm supposed to do as the leader of my guild. I will let you go if you want to go but if you want to stay here and fight, I am forced to stop you." Sieg's ability is on a different level compared to most of us here. If only Zia can use the power she used against the Frozen King then we might have a huge chance.

"Then I will fight you! I will show you why I'm the chosen one to be the successor of our family and not you! AMAROQ'S WRATH! MOONLIGHT DANCE!" Leion used his monster soul! He charged at Sieg so fast! He created clones and moved in a different direction!

"Leion! Don't be reckless!" Zia warned him but he didn't listen.

"BASILISK'S WRATH! BASILISK'S SANDSTORM!" Sieg also used his monster soul and he released a powerful wave of sandstorm towards us!

Leion's clones disappeared and he was stopped from charging because of the powerful sandstorm!

"GAAAAH!" What?! I heard a shout from someone near us!

"AHHHHH!" Another one! Sieg is killing us one by one!

"FRUIT PUNCH!" I tried to use my power stone but the shockwave didn't stop the sandstorm! Our other spellcasters too tried but it didn't work!

"REGROUP!" Zia ordered. We tried gathering together but there are only a few people in our group left! What the h.e.l.l?! Leion is not here too!

This is the power of one of the Thirteen G.o.ds. He's only using his first form but we're almost got wiped out.

*CLANG!* Holy coconut! Thanks to my good senses, I almost got killed! A blade out of nowhere popped out and almost pierced me in the chest. Somehow I parried the attack on time.

My senses are not doing great because of the sandstorm restricting it. We have to stop this or we will all die!

*BOOOOOOOM!* Suddenly, a loud and powerful explosion happened near the gate and that pushed us all away! It somehow also cleared the sandstorm.

Then I saw Zia checking up on their party members if someone is still alive but... I can tell that they're gone now.

"Leion! Are you ok?!" Zia rushed to Leion who's lying on the ground with his shoulder severely injured.

"I told you not to be hasty! If we planned this well this wouldn't have happened!" This is the first time I saw Zia look too this serious.

"Sorry but I guess I'll see you guys later..." He said then he slowly stopped breathing. The bleeding ended his life in just a couple of seconds.

"If you want reinforcements, just open the G.o.dd.a.m.n gate!" It's... it's Vortz! After I saw the numbers behind him, there's a whole army! He brought all of his armies with him! We're screwed!

He slowly walked towards us and checking the area.

"It looks like you had a hard time here, these large number of dead bodies. Your guild is getting weak, Deandre." He's mocking their army.

"We're about to defeat them all. We don't need your help here." Deandre said.

"I can tell that without Sieg, you don't stand a chance against these kids. You're just lucky that he's here. Now, I'm going to finish what you guys started!" He said then out of nowhere, he disappeared!

*BZZT! CLANG!* Oh, c.r.a.p! He suddenly showed up in front of me and then tried to hit me with a melee lightning spell with his fingers but I was able to block it with my dagger! That slightly sent spark all over my body but I was able to withstand it!

"Hoho... not bad. But will you..."

*SWOOOOOs.h.!.+* I instantly countered by hitting him with a couple of dagger stabs!

He was caught off guard because of my speed that he blocked my first strike with his arm. It wasn't powerful enough to pierce his arm through his heart. I slashed his thigh fast enough that it made him move slower. I tried to make the last hit through his head but...

"UGH!" He released a tremendous amount of lightning elemental power all over his body and I was forced to back off. That was close for both of us. If only he wasn't able to block my attack, he's probably dead by now.

"What is wrong with this girl?! She moves so d.a.m.n fast! d.a.m.n it!" Vortz said trying to show how annoyed he is. He's being healed by his guildmates now. I lost my precious chance to kill him. I will make sure I'd kill you next time.

I just smiled at him. A guild leader or not. I will kill you.

"Are you mocking me?!" Vortz exclaimed. No, it's just a smile you see when you're about to die.

*SWOOOOs.h.!.+ CLANG!* It's Sieg! He tried to attack me but it was blocked by Zia!

"I will be fighting you this time, Mr. Sieg. Your brother is reckless but I'm different. I will defeat you!" Zia said.

"Defeating my brother is necessary. It felt so bad but I had to. Now, if you don't stop, I have to end your life here too, Miss Zia," Sieg replied.

"BASILISK'S SANDSTORM!" He got back and started to create a wide range sandstorm like before. The other three of Life guild members were able to escape in time. The warriors and defenders from Light guild also got affected by the spell so they are forced to get back too, making the Life members safer.

"d.a.m.n it, Sieg! Don't use that when I'm around!" Vortz said and he got out of the sandstorm like I just did. It looks like Sieg and Vortz can never team up because of elemental incompatibility.

*BOOOOOM BOOOOOM!* A lot of explosions happened again outside the east gate! Wait... they're from the Drowned trident and... Dragoons! It looks like Dragoons changed their mind and joined us once again.

"What the h.e.l.l was that?!" Vortz angrily asked.

"Dragoons and Drowned Trident are on their way, Sir!" It looks like we're not screwed after all.

"d.a.m.n it. Fight back and focus all of your power to defend the East gate! I will finish my fight here first!" It looks like he's eager to kill me now after what I just did to him.

"STORM CALLER'S WRATH! LIGHTNING TORRENT!" He used his monster soul now. He's serious now.

He created numerous amount of lightning b.a.l.l.s above and suddenly, a large amount of lightning came from above continuously!

*BZZZZT BZZZZT!* I have to move fast to avoid them and there are too many that I'm having a hard time avoiding all of it. It also made small explosions every time single lighting hits the ground, making me lose my balance.

"STORM CALLER'S THUNDERSTRUCK!" Oh... c.r.a.p...

*BOOOOOOOOOM!* I was. .h.i.t by it in the body and I was pushed back real hard!

Ugh! Eh? Zia also was pushed back out of the sandstorm and we are now both in the same spot... And another lighting is about to come down to us!
