-Way to Elf Village-

I still can't believe what happened earlier. The brat is really stronger than I thought, though, those spells require a lot of mana.

"Hmmm, how far is your place again?" I'm getting impatient. We were walking deep into the forest. We're heading pretty far.

"Oh, we're near, just keep on walking," He replied. We've been walking for thirty minutes now and we aren't still there. Not to mention, how do they plan on celebrating when they just escaped? This is kind of suspicious.

"Guys let's be careful, I don't trust this guy," I whispered them.

-Elf Village-

"We're here!" The elf showed us the place. Well, I was wrong. They really prepared a simple celebration. There are fruits on a wooden table, some meat from the forest animals, and even musical play from their culture. There are dancing and singing in the middle of the day. It should be at night but we can't stay that long.

"Thanks for this Mr. Elf, but I don't think this is necessary. You've lost more than what you can give us. How about we plan on what to do next? The humans who raided your village might be back to capture you guys again." I explained.

"Sure but at least eat something, we really prepared it for you guys," Though it was a celebration, no one is eating any.

"Thank you, how about we make a toast? Haha," I suggested.

"Uhm... Sure why not," He grabbed the coconut sh.e.l.l which they use as a drinking vessel. I can tell that the atmosphere right now is weird. I waited for him to drink it but instead... They grabbed their weapons and pointed it at us.

"Just so you know, we actually killed more than a hundred of our kind to just save your as*es and now this is how you're going to repay us? And for your information, we actually defeated the ones who raided you. Do you think you have a chance?" The brat said and scared them really bad.

"Hey guys, just stop doing that. We will just leave if that's what you prefer. Do your thing and hide in the forest," I calmly said.

"We are just making sure that you won't do the same thing they did. Most of us are really scared. Even just by looking at you guys, makes us wet our pants. We're sorry. Please don't squash our hideout?" He explained while trying to stop his tears from falling.

"Ok, ok... but you're not literally wetting your pants, are you?" The brat asked with a bit of disgust on her face.

A pretty young elf came out from a small house, made of twigs and leaves. She must be their leader but she's too young to be one.

"Thank you, filth... kind humans for rescuing our fellow elves. If you weren't there, they might have been in the hands of those dirty fat faced humans. To show you our grat.i.tude, please eat some of our freshly harvested fruits and our jerk meats. Oh, and they are not poisoned. So, don't worry. "She must have bitten her tongue earlier but who cares.

The elves grabbed the food just to let us know that they're not really poisoned. The food they prepared is better than those we bought from the shop. The girls are eating shyly at first but then they forgot their manners after tasting the foods. It is really delicious. They are definitely a better cook than my sister.

Elou started to dance and it is embarra.s.sing like h.e.l.l. The brat is eating like crazy a lot of meat, just meat. Lili and Akko are also eating the fresh fruits and meat without even blinking. They must be hungry for all the fighting. I am also eating but not too much.

I approached their leader.

"How can a young yet elegant elf maiden be their leader? You must be their princess right?" I charmingly asked.

"Oh, a sweet talker but I'm not going to fall for that flattery. You've got that right, though. Do you need something?" Well, at least I got your attention.

"Well, I know that you're familiar with this place but why didn't you explore the dungeon that is near the gra.s.slands, south of here? I don't want to be rude, I am just curious my lady," I asked nicely.

"Well for us creatures, we have an instinct that we feel fear when getting near to dangerous other creatures. So basically, we have a hierarchy. If you don't want to die just avoid them. When we get near the entrance to the dungeon we felt really terrible like we want to throw up. That's the kind of signal that says, do not go near that place," She explained, and I can see that she is telling the truth because we didn't see any monsters around the dungeon.

"Well, most of the other humans in our company went inside but as far as we know, they didn't see any strong monsters there. Well, maybe inside? Thanks for the warning, though," I replied.

"No problem. But if you value your lives, please don't go inside that dungeon. That'll be suicide. Anyway, take this gemstone we found in the forest after defeating a monster which I don't remember what. We don't know if that has any use but so far it just became a display in my room. And also take this Elf flute. When you're in the forest just play the flute and if an elf is nearby they will come to you in case you need some help. Thank you again for saving our kin," She expressed her grat.i.tude. She's pretty nice.

"I just realized that you, elves, don't have your own language or accent. Is that normal?" I asked curiously.

"Well don't ask me, ask the game designer about that," Is she supposed to even say that? She gave her thanks again and continued the celebration.

After all that, I approached the brat.

"Hey Ms. Celeste, can I talk to you for a sec?" I asked while she continuously munches the meat. When will she ever stop eating?

"Whatch do you wantch?" Girl, stop eating and don't talk when your mouth is full...

"It's really important. Can you stop eating for a bit?" She finally stopped eating.

"Make sure this is important. No one interrupts me when I'm eating!" She pretty p.i.s.sed.

"Well, I found the reason why there are no monsters or any creatures near the dungeon. It's because they can sense a tremendous fear when getting near the area. There's a different level monster that even us will be having a hard time to defeat, with our numbers we might try. But what happened was, we entered the dungeon party by party which lessened our overall power. If the players who came first inside met that monster, they might get killed. I think we should go back as soon as we can!" I explained.

"Too much jibber jabber, how about we just kill it after I'm done eating? I almost slapped you in the face when you were talking, you know that?" Jeez. I know your strong but at least worry about your people.

After all the eating and dancing, we decided to go back to the dungeon.
