"THUNDERBIRD'S WRATH!" I have to use Kyut to improve my speed and catch up with this monster's water beams. They hurt so bad and I don't think my defense can keep up with it if I get hit more. I need to be careful and use fast attacks to hit him first. Fire spells take a lot of time to cast and it would be useless against it.

What?! What now? I haven't made my move yet but it created bubbles around him. Is it some kind of defensive spell? This one is literally different from others like this one is really thinking carefully of what it is doing. Should I attack it?

"KACHAAAA!" The other lizardmen started charging at me.

"THUNDERBIRD'S LIGHTING SPARK!" I smashed the ground with my lightning spell creating a ma.s.sive surge of lightning that electrocuted every lizardman nearby.

"That's what you get when you play with... with me, I guess. Now, I would love to see a fried lizard!" It's preparing to shoot water beams again!

I was able to get near it but the bubbles are moving by themselves and trying to stop me!

*SWOOOOSH SWOOOOs.h.!.+*

"Not this time!" I was able to dodge it and I was able to get past the bubbles but...

*BOOOOM b.o.o.bOBOOOM!*

GAAAAH! The bubbles exploded making strong shockwaves pus.h.i.+ng me back and knocking me to the ground! d.a.m.n! How can bubbles explode so bad?!

*BAAAAM BAAAAAM!* It tried to shoot water beams again but I was able to roll away. I guess I'm fighting their boss now, huh. Using my best lightning move would need me to cast it and need a bit of a few seconds. This boss will just shoot me with lasers which will be bad. I can't afford to get hit again... wait... I just need to make it miss!

"Shade, give me a hand. DARKNESS!" I surrounded myself with darkness making the boss. .h.i.t nothing. The boss is confused and it doesn't know what to do and just shoots a barrage of water beams but it's useless. I quickly moved and stayed away from its range of attacks and prepared for my best move while it can't tell where I am.

"THUNDERBIRD'S EARTH SHATTERING..."

"I give up! I surrender!" Wait, what? Did the monster really talked?!

"Oh..." Well... I decided to cancel my spell and then almost lost my balance because I was just about to bombard the area.

"At least you said that sooner or I might have..."

"HAAAA! FOOL! AQUA UNDERGROUND THORNS!" I have to move fast! Too late!

"GAAAAH!" My arms, legs, feet and chest are pierced by water that came from below... How can water pierced right through my armor and my body like that?!

I can't move, all my limbs are injured that I can't even lift my hands. All I can do is move my head. I was too reckless.

"KACHAAA HAHAHA! Human fool! Do you think I'll surrender from someone like you?! Naive fool!" Man, this idiot keeps on saying the word fool... I guess he's right, though.

"Now you die, KACHAAAA! AQUA SKY THORNS!" Oh, c.r.a.p. Not looking good. I have to get out of here!

"LIGHT s.h.i.+ELD BARRIER!" Huh?! Whose skill was that? The water beams got blocked and they sprayed throughout the whole area making as if it was rain.

"KACHAA?! Who are you?!" The boss asked. It was Zia, I can tell.

"It looks like our leader is getting old and I thought the day when I have to save you won't be that soon." She said. It looks like not playing for a while made me weaker or... they just got stronger a lot.

"Don't ignore me while I'm talking, KACHAA! WATER THORNS!" The boss started attacking again!

"Watch out!" I warned her but...

"SWOOOOs.h.!.+" She swings her sword in a circular motion creating an image of the moon that she was able to deflect the boss' attacks! It was precise and effective for defense!

"LIGHT MOONBLADE!" She disappeared! Where did she go?!

*BAAAAAM!*

"GAAAAAH!" What?! The boss is hurt! Zia appeared in front of the boss and made a circular slash damaging not only the boss' arms but also it's feet! Its neck also shows wounds from her attack. What a powerful move! Just like that, the boss fell to the ground and I'm not sure if it's dead or not but I can say that it's not in a condition to fight anymore.

"Now now... are you ok? Let me help you up." She said and tried to lift me by carrying my arms to her shoulder. My arms hurt but I guess I need the help of the others soon or I'll bleed to death. I'm getting weaker that I can't even lift my head up anymore. I need healing as soon as possible.

"DON'T TOUCH HIM!" Huh?! It was a girls voice! Wait, who said that? I can't see her.

"Miss... Miss Akko?" No, Akko won't sound like that. Akko's the most gentle...

*PUSHES*

"Ugh!" Zia and I both lost our balance and fell to the ground. Wait... who did that?!

"Oh G.o.d! I'm sorry!" Zia's right, it was Akko...

"What did I just do? I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" Akko's crying and I don't even have a clue what is happening.

"It's alright, Miss Akko. Let's help Scy or he'll die here and our mission will fail. Let's carry him as soon as we can." Zia suggested.

"I don't know what came over me, I felt like betrayed or too angry that I didn't even know what I just did... I'm sorry!" She needs to stop being like this!

"Akko, snap out of it! I need help and put your hands on my head and heal me! I need the Akko I know and not this one!" This is not just for me, this is for my parents!

She wiped her tears and I can see that she gain her resolve once again. That's the Akko I know.

Ohhh... her healing feels so good. The pain slowly fades away...

In the end, we were able to secure our s.h.i.+ps from damage and the lizardmen scattered after their leader lost to us. The boss should have good defensive capabilities but it was easily defeated by one move by Zia. Well, it's probably good with spells but I can say that it's not that good when it comes to defense after all because all it can do is use long range attacks. Though, I'm baffled by Akko's sudden change of personality. It's like she's not the Akko I know and I'm not sure what triggered it. Still, she's still Akko and whatever happened, I know that she's still the Akko I know. It seems like she calmed down now but I think she's still troubled by what happened.

"Scy, seriously, stop charging like that. You almost killed yourself again! What were you thinking! If Zia didn't come for you then you'd probably dead by now!" Oh jeez... Here comes Elou again...

"I know I know and I'm sorry. It won't happen again." I replied and I can tell that he doesn't really trust my words... oh well...

"So, I guess we can take a break for while here. We need a good rest after all that traveling and fighting." I suggested. I lost track of time that I'm not even sure how many days we've traveled.

"For now, yes but our s.h.i.+ps need to be guarded so I can say that half of our guild members should guard them while the others take a break. Also upon checking the clouds, there will be a huge storm coming. I guess we'll be staying here for a bit longer." Glace explained. She just shows up whenever she needs to explain...

"Thankfully, we can move the s.h.i.+ps below the mountain by using some spells to make it easier to guard. We need to secure it not only from those pesky reptiles but also from the storm so I guess it's not really a rest but just another hurdle to our adventure." She continued explaining.

"We can't waste time here and as soon as the storm subsides, we focus on continuing our adventure." Even after saying that myself, I'm tired and I can tell that everyone is getting tired of this voyage already. I know that it's not the same adventure they have in mind but this is the real deal, we travel not knowing what we could meet or what we could encounter.

"Mmmmm Mmmm Mmmmm..." What is that?

"Oh, we also captured the d.a.m.n lizard leader and we tied its mouth because you know, we don't want it spraying water all over the place." Two Teeth said.

"Good job. We need to ask a lot of questions from it after all. And I think it owes me an apology for almost killing me." I replied.
