"G.o.ddess of the Night, lend me your Strength and make my enemies suffer! DARKNESS RETRIBUTION!" Black smoke started to envelop the area. The enemies seized from attacking and stopped what they're doing.

"Ms. Celeste, what should we do?" Their formation didn't break. As expected from the best warriors of their guild.

"Don't panic! This is just a trick! The darkness can't harm you! Mari, use your spells that remove negative status effects!" She ordered. But I antic.i.p.ated that.

The moment I used the darkness, I rushed towards Mari and knocked her out with my sleep spell and put her somewhere safe. The sleep spell came from my Shade Mastery.

"Sorry, too bad she's out of the game," I said.

"You b.a.s.t.a.r.d! What did you do to Marie! SUMMON EARTH GOLEMS!" She summoned five of her loyal golems. She ordered them to attack me.

"Lili and Akko, go hide for now and try to recharge your mana as fast as you can. Elou, ready your best arrow rain later. We will run after that attack," I whispered to them.

Unlike the players, golems are not affected by my spell. They can detect me using their earth senses.

All of them charged at me but I managed to dodge them. The players, on the other hand, are just guarding because they can't see what's going on.

"EARTH GOLEM REGROWTH!" The five golems fused into one! This time it's really larger and slower! Not a good idea brat.

"EARTH GOLEM'S WRATH!" What the h.e.l.l?! It's the spell she used to power up the golem! Maybe she really got p.i.s.sed.

This golem is more powerful than the last time. This one is bigger! One stomp and it would squash us all!

The golem attacked me with its giant hands. It was fast! I barely evaded that one. After that, he attacked me again and again. Every punch it does creates tremendous earthquakes! I need the fight to back before this Golem can hit me with a lucky strike! One hit and that's the end of me!

"Elou it's your turn!" I whispered to him.

"ARROW STORM!" This time the arrows are faster and more powerful! Spellcasters were injured really bad, some of them died. Too bad it didn't kill the brat. Without Mari, their defense dramatically dropped.

"That annoying Archer! Warriors defend us!" The warriors in front took out their s.h.i.+eld instead of the attacking stance. They are useless in this darkness and against a fast enemy like me. Celeste can't move much because of too much mana usage. Azzie's fire can't create light in this darkness.

My only option is to attack the brat!

"FIERY PUNCH!"

*BAAAAAAAAM!* Eh? d.a.m.n it! Deandre and warriors defended from my attack! They are protecting her with the best they've got, making my attacks useless. If they are normal guards or warriors it wouldn't be this hard. Elou used up all of his arrows and can't attack anymore. Lili and Akko are still recovering.

"FIERY PUNCH!"

*BAAAAAAAAM!* I hit the golem's right leg but it didn't affect it. Just how the h.e.l.l am I supposed to defeat this golem!

The golem out of the blue collapsed and shattered. Eh? Was my punch that great? Nope. The brat used up all her mana. She can't use the power up for long with that kind of golem. My darkness is also fading away. I was supposed to use it to defeat them one by one. Instead, the golem took my chance.

"We can see him now! Attack!" The warriors rushed towards me.

Even without the darkness, I can still defeat you guys! Three of them jumped at me and attacked me with their swords. Ahh! One of them hit me. It was just a scratch but the damage is still high. They're still high-level and a couple of hits would be the end of me.

"DARK FLAME SLAs.h.!.+" I moved fast enough and slashed every one of them burning them to death. I tried my best and almost poured everything I've got. I need to save some mana or I won't be able to do anything anymore later.

Spears from behind are aiming for my back but-

"DARK FLAME BURST!" I jumped and released a powerful dark flame that exploded after hitting them, powerful enough to destroy them.

"SWOOOOOOOs.h.!.+ SWOOOOs.h.!.+" Magic projectiles from the spellcasters were also targeting me but it wasn't fast enough to hit me.

"Ahhhhh!" One of the spears from the guards stabbed my left shoulder! d.a.m.n, it hurt so badly! I moved back!

This time the warriors surrounded me in. They are using the defensive stance where they use s.h.i.+eld and spear to poke for the kill. I don't think I can escape from this. This might be my end.

"YAAAAAAAAH!" This time they rushed towards me and are preparing their most powerful attacks.

I'm not gonna die here! I fought back! With every wound I took, I gave them with more injuries!

"LIGHT G.o.d'S PUs.h.!.+" It was Lili! The guards caught by the spell got knocked away from me. I thought I'm going to die. My HP is already at its end.

"HEALING HANDS!" Lili is trying to heal my injuries. It looks like she was able to regain mana from resting.

"Can you still fight Scy?" Akko asked.

"Yeah. Though I don't think I can fight any longer. I'm all out of mana. And I'm sure Lili's mana can't help us any longer," I replied. There are still around twenty of them. Azzie is taking care of the brat, Deandre who orders the guards and some spellcasters.

"Azzie it's our turn! Spellcasters, take care of Ms. Celeste," Deandre ordered.

"This is my payback for Marie!" Azzie is really p.i.s.sed not knowing that her friend is just sleeping somewhere.

Deandre rushed towards us with his sword!

"Take this! OVERHEAD SLAs.h.!.+" Another overhead slash, it's a really overused skill you know. It's really funny how slow he is.

"Not so fast!" Elou used his daggers to defend from the attack. The attack of Deandre was really devastating and made him bend to his knees!

"Is that all you've got, Robin Hood? Can't do anything without your arrows, can you?" You sure talk a lot for someone who got beaten up a lot.

Deandre attacked again using his sword but Elou managed the deflect it. The only thing Elou can do is to defend from his attacks.

"FLAME BREATHE!" Both Azzie and Akko are exchanging their spells with each other. It was a fight between fire masters! But Akko's totally being outpowered. Azzie's spell is way too powerful for her.

"I'll end this right now! OVERHEAD SLAs.h.!.+" Deandre once again prepared his powerful attack!

"Elou, duck!" I shouted. He lowered his body and rolled to the side to avoid the attack and after that...

"SHADOW FIRE EXPLOSION!"

*BOOOOOM!* I took advantage of the situation and right after he attacked, a surprise attack hit him in the face!

"Not again...," It's Deandre's last words after my attack and he's out.
