"Hey, guys! You're back! Thank goodness, all of you won your matches." Emily welcomed us after seeing us enter her Inn.

"Lili and my fights were really exciting. Lili really had a hard time though." Akko replied. That's right. Lili suffered a lot of pain earlier.

"Well, I really thought Lili died back there but we are all glad after she revived for some reason. Anyway, here are your food as always." We sat beside the table and she handed our food to us.

"Thanks, Emily, you would really be a good wife someday." Elou started his cheesy pickup lines though Emily wasn't really affected that much.

"Lili's fight was so close. We should be more careful and never underestimate our foes. If we can finish the fight sooner, we should end it fast to avoid unnecessary injuries. I'm feeling a bit tired after using the transformation earlier." I suggested. Lili was a bit careless from her fight and never expected a silence would be inflected to her that's why she almost lost the match.

"Yeah yeah... stop nagging, will you?" Lili is back to her tsundere att.i.tude. I was just worried but I guess it's for nothing.

"Lili, stop that. Scy here is just worried about us. Don't be a pain in the b.u.t.t for him. Ok?" Akko scolded her little Sis.

"Hmp..." Lili just pouted while we are eating our food. Elou really loves the taste and benefits of the food that he can't even partic.i.p.ate on our simple chitchat.

-Emily's Inn-

"Ughhh... I'm full! My tummy hurts..." Akko said while touching her belly.

"You got that right... *buuurps*... Oops!" Elou that's disgustang! Dang!

"Haha. That was one h.e.l.l of a burp. We should really rest soon and prepare for our match later. If we win the fourth match we will be in the second half of the tournament." Why do I always state the obvious...

"Yeah, I hope we don't get to fight another strong opponent this time," I hope too, Akko.

"Well, eventually, we will still have to fight them in the future so it really doesn't matter if we fight them now or not. Just make sure we are all prepared for the fight. Anyway Elou, you also should be careful this time. You haven't met a strong opponent so you might be shocked when a G.o.d will be fighting you later." I once again told them to be careful. Just how worried am I?

"Jeez, you are really taking things seriously. Loosen up a bit and enjoy the scenery now. I watched the sky for a couple of times but I still love it." Elou... I guess I worry too much.

We rested for a while before going back to the stadium with Emily.

"People of New Life Online! The fourth round will start now! Are you excited to see those people who are going to win later? We all are! This round, 32 partic.i.p.ants will fight against each other! We should start the match before people get bored with my speech! The first match is between Elou, the Blonde Robin Hood from Scythus' party and Panthie... Did I say it right? Oh, thanks... Panthie, the Guild Leader of Feywilds and the sixth G.o.d!" Aika started to announce the first match. Though the Leader of Feywilds' name sounds like a girl's underwear.

And d.a.m.n, I knew it that he will be fighting a G.o.d this time! What a coincidence, the first fight is between an archer and a hunter ranger. They both excel in using long-range attacks and also fast when using melee attacks. This matchup would be really good though I'm a bit worried about Elou...

They entered the arena without any questions.

"h.e.l.lo, Miss Pant... Panthie. I don't really like hitting a girl so if by any chance you're at disadvantage, please surrender. Your black outfit really suits you well though." Jeez, the first time he sees a woman in a fight and this is how he talked to her. Panthie has black hair and also wearing a black clothing and a hood.

"...." The girl just didn't answer all Elou's nonsense jibber jabber.

"Not much of a talker huh. Well, in that case, you should be really careful." Elou warned the girl.

"Ready, Fight!" Aika started the fight.

"SUMMON COMPANION!" Panthie started summoning one of her companions, a summoning technique that teleports a pet or companion from her own stable to the battlefield. As stated before the start of the tournament, pets and companions are allowed.

Pets or companions when killed will become a soul stone and can be revived through summoning processes with contracts. Bosses can't be summoned by players if their power or level is too low to handle.

She summoned a Panther this time. Her name really doesn't have any connection with her pet... at all...

"ROOOOAR!" The panther fiercely roar with the thirst for blood and charged towards Elou! It's fast!

"Summoning technique, huh. What are you? A ninja?! RAPID ARROWS!" He shot three arrows at the panther! Fast three consecutive arrows are flying towards panther's direction. Elou might have high dexterity but the range between them is still far so he didn't get to have a good shot, also using fast attacks like rapid arrows decreases the accuracy.

*SWOOSH SWOOSH SWOOs.h.!.+* All the attacks missed as the panther evaded them really good but because of constant and fast dodges of the panther, it's next move was already predicted by Elou.

"SNIPE SHOT!" The first shots were just to trap the Panther and now he shot a fast powerful arrow that can easily one-shot monsters if they got hit on their weak spot. Snipe shot also has a high critical hit chance and damage.

*SWOOOOs.h.!.+* The arrow flew really fast that the only thing you see or hear was the sound of the friction of wind and arrow, fast enough that even your eye can't catch up to its speed.

"We will be having a panther meat for breakfast!" Elou excitedly said while expecting he will hit the panther without any problems. Panther can't easily defend from an attack like that unless it was a panther with a thick s.h.i.+eld... Of course, there's none.

*SWOOOOs.h.!.+ CLAAACK!* An unexpected event occurred!

Before his arrow hit the panther, an arrow from nowhere stopped and collided with Elou's arrow! As soon as it happened, Elou already knew who shot the arrow. It was Panthie... d.a.m.n saying her name is really kind of embarra.s.sing.

"Tsk... You've got skill for an archer. Stopping my arrow with another arrow is really incredible. You might have a good eyesight and accuracy." Elou said while preparing to attack again while the panther is almost at him.

"STEALTH CLOAK!" Elou chanted his next spell... what is he planning now?
