"The round five matches ended quickly. We started tonight at ten pm and ended at one am. The next round will start at two am. So you guys can take a break for a while." Aika announced. We decided to log out of the game and of course, do our necessities.

-Aries Home-

I woke up and I felt hunger so I decided to have a snack. I went to the fridge and found Mari and Azzie in the kitchen. They were also taking a break and having some cookies...

"Hey, you girls are up. I've watched your match and it was awesome." I hope I didn't cross some line.

"Yeah bro, I didn't really expect something like that. Though it's for the guild and it's all part of the plan." They seemed to be focused on the plan... The purpose of the tournament is to have fun right?

"It's necessary but the fight was really fun. I hope we could do that again sometime." Azzie replied. Wew... That's good to hear. I really thought at first they will have a tough time.

"Ok now. I'll grab something and you guys take your time. Have fun later." I bid my farewells. I poured some milk on a gla.s.s and add some chocolate. A gla.s.s of chocolate milk is good for bedtime I guess but it's really late.

Elou might get depressed this time. He said he will do his best but his opponent was too strong for him. Even I have doubts if I can win my next match but I don't have a choice but to do my best to win.

-Order of Light Aren

I decided to go back to the game. I entered the game as usual. Lili and Akko are already waiting in our area. They seemed to be ok now.

"The night here in the game is really beautiful. Right?" I asked trying to lighten up the mood.

"Yeah. I hope Elou could join us." Akko replied. For G.o.d's sake... I'm trying to avoid the sad part.

"He will later. Just remember that we've been playing the game just more than a month right? And we reached this far that no one could achieve that fast." Trying to lessen the bad atmosphere the last matches left.

"Yeah, and it's all because of you. That training though..." She said. Yup that training was h.e.l.l. I know.

"Trying to beat the Crystal Dragon and retreating when we are almost dead? I think that wasn't that bad." That's right. Our training was fighting the world boss and retreat before we get wiped out. We might not have been able to kill it but the boosts on our masteries were really great. Fighting a strong monster can easily upgrade someone's masteries really fast. That's why we managed to level up our masteries so fast and managed to reach this far. Of course, we also spent a lot of time doing that before the tournament started and I guess the training was worth it.

*Sigh* Lili just sighed because she doesn't agree about my last comment. Well at least they can rest now but I'm still going to fight and get more stressed than them.

"See? Even Lilli doesn't agree with you." Akko said. Jeez just let me go for one second.

"Yeah, yeah. Anyway, it seems that the next round will be starting soon." I said while checking out if the event starts now.

We waited till the start.

"Aheem Aheem. Magic speaker test... Magic speaker test... Aheem." The old geezer tested out the magic speakers as usual but we know he just wants to catch our attention.

"People of New Life Online, I know that all of you are excited because only eight partic.i.p.ants are left and that means the end of the tournament is almost near. We saw some awesome fights that almost take our breath away and some that made us sad about the results but it all happened for a reason. These eight people didn't just get lucky but they fought with their best and one of them will be the strongest player. Good luck to all of you and enjoy the show." The old geezer... as usual, it's catchy. Cheers can be heard.

"WOOOOH! WOOOOH!" Crowds all over the stadium can't wait to see some action.

"I can feel the excitement throughout the whole arena! The partic.i.p.ants left are Aurora the Strongest Player, Celeste the Earth Witch, Maisie the Silent Swordsman, Mari Order of Light's Best Support, Scythus the Infamous Dark Flame Master, Sh.e.l.la the Water Manipulator, s.h.i.+v the Bleeder and Zeth the Combo Master. There will be four fights in round six and as always, the partic.i.p.ants on matches will be random. We will not delay your excitement and announce the next match's fighters." Aika announced. They changed my description this time and that's good to hear.

"They are Aurora, the strongest player of New Life Online and Celeste, the Earth Witch!" This will be a tough fight for both of them but when it comes to speed, I'll go with Aurora on this one.

Specialty: End Game Earth spell user. Quick Cast. High const.i.tution but no agility.

Aurora (450)

Specialty: End Game Time spell and melee combat abilities.

They both entered the arena and are prepared for the worst. Neither of them shows any sign of doubt or fear, maybe because they will go all out and fight to their heart's content, Aurora with her trusted armor and sword and Celeste with her usual clothes and wand to boost her magic power.

"Ready, Fight!" Aika signaled the start of the fight.

"You know, I always wanted to fight you and test the legendary strongest player. Do you really deserve the t.i.tle or do want to be a good girl and give it to me? Hahaha." Jeez... Celeste started her trash talk. This only happens when she knows she can go all out.

"I would love to but you know, I still have some bills to pay and the only way to do that is to get the reward. You want to defeat me, you have to defeat me or pay me more." Aurora and her money problems. Her wanting of the rewards seem to be greater than the t.i.tle of the strongest. These girls need to start fighting and stop those unnecessary exchange of words.

"EARTH G.o.d'S STOMP!" She used her favorite first move, the giant earth foot falling from above.

"SONIC SLASH WAVES!" She cut it in half but her pa.s.sive activated and again cut the falling earth foot to pieces.

Who will win this match? They haven't used their full ability yet.
