The detective said that he would come and meet him directly at the airport in another 8 hours . Every second of waiting was like a lifetime . . . !! His little heart was restless . . . He called the flight attendant and asked her to connect the call to the pilot .

Mr . Steve, chief pilot of Jiang Chen's private jet received the call .

Steve : h.e.l.lo Mr . Chen !! May I know if there is any inconvenience for you ?? Do you want me to land the flight at any nearest airport ??

Advertis.e.m.e.ntChen : No Mr . Steve . . . We are not haulting anywhere till we reach A city . How long do we take to reach A city ??

Steve : It would take 10 hours more to reach Mr . Chen

Chen : I have an emergency in A city . We need to reach in 8 hours

Steve : Mr . Chen, I think it will be difficult .

Chen : Then after this journey, you can collect your last pay check and do all the settlement formalities at Jiang's corporation

I need to increase the alt.i.tude from 41k to 43k feet but the higher we fly, the thinner the air . But if the alt.i.tude further exceeds, there are other aerodynamic effects and we can't a.s.sure the safety of the flight anymore . This is the best I can do even if you fire me . "

Jiang Chen knows that Steve is one of the best pilots under Jiang's corporation . He didn't want to force Steve beyond the limit . So he agreed and dropped the call .

The co-pilot next to Steve said, " I think Mr . Jiang seems to be unreasonable . No matter how emergency it is, he should not gamble with his and our lives !!"

Steve smiled and said, "Increase the alt.i.tude and let's do our best" . Steve was not scared of being fired by Jiang Chen . Infact, he treats his employees very well . Steve knows that there are only two instances where Mr . Jiang considers as an emergency . One is related to Jiang's Matriarch and the other is related to some strange girl . Neither the big contracts nor the meetings with politicians are important in his eyes . The flight rose above the clouds and started flying towards City A .

The landline in a duplex villa was ringing continuously and no one picked up for a while . The landline continued to ring second time and suddenly a wet hand picked up the receiver . There were droplets dripping from the hand and the person answered lazily, "h.e.l.lo"
