The Black Tiger 9 Abnormality

The grunting lizard stood a few inches from where Gabriel was sitting on a branch. It waddled towards him not breaking of their eye contact while the other one just observed him from a distance.

"You're different from the other beasts entering the dungeon" A rusty voice whispered.

Gabriel looked at the source of the sound. It came from the dragon in front of him.

Confusion consumed Gabriel as he couldn't believe what had occurred.

"What?" He frowned.

The red scaled lizard shook its head.

"You're different from the other beasts entering the dungeon. You seem to understand the problems which often occur at the ground." It repeated.

Gabriel ignored the creature.

"Why can you talk?" Gabriel asked.

"I'm just a host, my real body are located somewhere outside the dungeon while I'm here studying these fools."

Gabriel scratched his head. It watched them for fun??? The lizard did suddenly turned around fast, then it froze.

[ALARM]

AN ABNORMALITY HAS APPEARED INSIDE THE DUNGEON.

STATUS: CRITICAL

A loud roar spread through the tick layers of trees. The sound was mesmerizing, but not in a good way. Gabriel lifted his thick eyebrows, frowning.

-Something's very wrong...-

"An emergency has been reported in a nearby F rank dungeon. We summoned you to end it quickly, madam Amy. We know you are rank A, but since there is no other service beasts in the area we hoped you could take care of it" A man stuttered nervously while a drop of sweat ran down his small forehead. He was short and wore a blue suit which made him look a bit younger than his actual age.

The room was luxurious and filled with all short of treasures, included gold,jewelry, art, etc.. A black sofa with golden structures decorating its elegant style. A young woman with red hair and piercing green eyes sat in it wearing a doll like dress with beautiful laces which matched her eyes.

"Albert, are you seriously making an A rank beast of high cla.s.s clean up the mess in the lower ranks?" She said clearly showing her disapproval.

The elder man looked down at the floor gulping while bowing to the young woman in front of him.

She continued after a short moment of silence.

"Did you honestly think that I would help you in this matter? Tell your CEO that I'm not interested, unless the creature is rank B or above" she stated as she drank a cup of vanilla tea with honey and milk.

The man was trying to form a word, but got interrupted by the large doors opening. Some people from the security team shouted that the creature was rank D, but that they didn't know more than its rank.

The woman in the sofa looked bored, she yawned multiple time which showed her lack of interest.

-The old man who nervously bowed in front of me started talking to the security people, it was so boring. I was going to interrupt them after a couple of minutes, but then their conversation lead to a team I actually wanted to know more about"

"Have you heard about the incidents at the Warran mansion which occurred some weeks ago?" One of security people asked.

"No, the only thing I know is that the elder son was injured and the youngest disappeared." The old man answered politely.

"Apparently it was caused by a demon like creature which resembled a tiger. However, it was no ordinary tiger. It stood 3 meters tall and 4 meter long with black fur and s.h.i.+ning white stripes. A couple of days ago there was an incident in a low rank dungeon near the Warran property. A guild crew was raiding the dungeon and ended up provoking the dungeon boss. One of them got killed, but soon after a black tiger leaped towards the creature and killed it instantly without even trying. They think it's the same creature which attacked the Warran family"

" Do you think it will appear again?" The woman asked with an energetic voice.

The crew nodded.

She stood up from the sofa and walked towards the large window searching the growing city for something. She smiled eagerly.

Gabriel had made his way under the roof of threes still sitting in one of the smaller trees. The sound had disappeared without a trace when he had arrived at his current spot. He felt unease, but couldn't really determine why.

He looked around searching whatever's wrong. He sat there for a while until a column appeared.
