Idiot In Love -83 Chapter 33: Jun Liu

On Sat.u.r.day morning at 11 o'clock, a tall guy walked into the arrival hall of City L. The people in the hall were all looking at the handsome guy who was wearing a casual outfit. The guy ignored the crowd and continued walking to the exit of the airport.

The airport in City L was small; it has only one entrance that served both as entrance and exit. Being in City L for a few times already, Jun Liu knew the place like the back of his hand so sat on the chair near the entrance. He fished out his phone from his luggage and made a brief call to someone.

The few times Jun Liu in City L, he had made some connection with the people and the taxi drivers in the City. So, he did not have to worry about transportation and food since he had the usual taxi driver that would be willing to drive him anywhere and anytime.

The last time Jun Liu went to City L was to visit the site of his project with Wu Group. This time, a certain someone had rushed him to start the project out of the blue. Today's visit to City L was made in a hurry so Jun Liu was not in a good mood.

Jun Liu was the owner of a construction-related company based in City K. He has been a friend with Wu Chen since their university day. Half a year ago, he got a project from the Wu Group to build a hotel in City L thanks to Wu Chen. They are going to start the construction project next month but a certain someone called him last night, urging him to start the project. His thought drifted to their conversation last night.

At 10 0'clock, Jun Liu had prepared himself to go to bed until his phone rang. He looked at the caller and picked up the call.

"The Wu Courtyard, I want you to start the construction as soon as possible". Without a greeting or a simple h.e.l.lo, Wu Chen began firing instruction to Jun Liu.

"Nope. That is not possible" Jun Liu was also a cold guy, he will not do things he did not want to do.

"Make it possible then. What do you want to be able to make it possible?" Wu Chen knew Jun Liu very well. That guy could make something impossible into something possible by pus.h.i.+ng a few b.u.t.tons.

"Your BMW" Jun Liu was very tired from work. He randomly said whatever came to his mind when Wu Chen asked what he wanted to make something possible. It was not as if it was impossible to start the Wu Courtyard Project earlier, he just wanted to do things according to their initial arrangement.

Jun Liu knew that Wu Chen loved his BMW M6 Gran Coupe the most. He asked for his favourite car so that Wu Chen will leave him alone. What happened next shocked him to the core.

"Alright. How early can you start the project?" Jun Liu was stupefied. Was he giving away his favourite car for real?

Wu Chen put away the phone from his ear and took a careful look on the screen. The caller was Wu Chen, he was not wrong about it.

"Who are you kidding? It's not April Fool. I'm hanging up. Don't bother me sleeping". Jun Liu hung up the phone and closed his eyes. Right after he hung up the phone, the phone rang once again. It was still Wu Chen.

"What? I don't want to play now. Go away" Jun Liu was very annoyed with Wu Chen who kept on calling him.

"I want the construction to start in less than one month. It would be much better if you could start next week. Don't disappoint me". Without waiting for a reply from Jun Liu, Wu Chen hung up.

Jun Liu was wide awake now. He did not know why but Wu Chen seemed adamant to make him start the construction of Wu Courtyard. So, Jun Liu called his secretary to book an early flight to City L for the next day. He needed to visit the site.

That was what brought Jun Liu to the airport at the moment.

Jun Liu noticed a beautiful woman who was sitting in the opposite chair, in front of him. He thought that the woman seemed familiar but he can't remember where he had seen her.

The woman in front of him kept on looking at him as well. She lifted her phone towards his direction. He did not want to think much about that action but after some time, he became suspicious because the woman was still holding her pink phone in his direction. He had an idea of what the woman was doing and he was displeased. The thing he hated the most was people who breached in his privacy.

"Click…Click…" A shutter sound of a camera came from the phone that the woman was holding in her hand. The sound confirmed his suspicion so Jun Liu was angry; he stomped his feet and approached the woman.

"Excuse me miss but are you taking my picture secretly?" Jun Liu was not able to tolerate just anybody. It would too much of a coincidence if someone held their phone towards your direction and then you could hear a shutter sound after that.

The woman flinched when he heard him asked the question. Jun Liu showed a fierce expression on his face and the woman stepped back. Jun Liu grabbed the woman's wrist. "Trying to run I see. Guilty much?"

The woman struggled to get away from Jun Liu but Jun Liu was very strong. She gave up struggling and made a pitiful face instead. "I'm not taking a picture of you. I was actually taking pictures of the cute kid who was sitting behind you. You can take a look at the picture if you want too".

The woman showed him the picture. It was true that there was a kid standing on the chair behind him but the kid was standing far to his left. Meanwhile, the picture was taken with him in the centre and it was clear that the picture focused on him instead of the kid. Jun Liu looked at the woman suspiciously. The woman kept on putting a pitiful face as if she was wronged by Jun Liu. "This is the truth. Why should I take a picture of you?"

Jun Liu let go of the woman's wrist and apologized for his behaviour. The woman walked away hurriedly from Jun Liu while giving him the stink eye. Jun Liu cannot help but think that he had seen the woman somewhere. He kept thinking whether the woman was one of the reporters who kept on bothering him when he attended many of the formal events in City K.

The afternoon would be the peak hour in City L. The traffic was congested and the airport was crowded with people. There was an old lady standing near the chairs that Jun Liu was sitting on. Seeing how old the lady was, Jun Liu called her to come over and take his seat.

Jun Liu estimated that it would take some time for his taxi driver to come and pick him up so he decided to walk around the airport so that it would not be too awkward for him to just stand in one place.

He walked randomly inside the airport just to kill time. He was quite hungry so he walked towards the mini-kiosk for local snacks near the boarding gate. From afar, he could see a couple was hugging each other and the guy planted a kiss on top of the girl's head.

He thought that the quote "Airports see more sincere kisses than wedding halls" was true.

When the guy let go of the girl, Jun Liu could see the guy's face clearly and he was shocked. Wu Chen?

He rubbed his eyes just to make sure that he was not seeing a thing but he could still see Wu Chen. He wanted to approach his friend when he saw the woman he confronted earlier was snapping pictures of Wu Chen and the mysterious girl by using her pink phone while hiding behind a pillar. She even had a suspicious smile on her face.

Seeing the behaviour of the woman, Jun Liu was sure that the woman was a reporter. He walked towards the woman but the place was too crowded and it was hard for him to move around. He wanted to confiscate the woman's phone. He was sure that the woman must be the culprit who uploaded the recent video of a girl proposing to Wu Chen which was now viral on the internet.

While trying to get to the woman, his phone rang. His driver had arrived and waited for him in the parking lot. When Jun Liu finished the phone call, the woman was not around anymore. Jun Liu gave up looking for the woman and went out to the parking lot.

A certain woman pulled Yi Fei into the toilet so that Yi Fei could wash her red face. After was.h.i.+ng her face a few times, Yi Fei sobered up from her trance.

"NaNa, where are our drinks?" Yi Fei suddenly felt thirsty.

NaNa was was.h.i.+ng her hand. She ma.s.saged her wrist a few times. Her wrist was red. NaNa did not know how to explain to Yi Fei. Wu Chen only sent her away to have some time alone with Yi Fei.

Her eyes drifted to her red wrist and she had an idea. Taking a large breath, NaNa set herself in a melancholy mood.

"Just now when I went to buy our drinks, the queue was very long so I sat on the chair near the entrance hoping for people to dissipate. Then, there is this very handsome guy sat the opposite of me. So, I took pictures of him but I got busted because of the shutter sound. The handsome guy grabbed my wrist because he was angry. Thank G.o.d I was smart; I was able to get away from trouble. I am afraid of the guy so I did not buy any drink ar…" NaNa recounted everything in a very convincing way. Yi Fei took a pity of her.

NaNa showed her red wrist as a proof and Yi Fei gasped dramatically.

"Next time, when you want to take a picture of a handsome guy, make sure you turned off the shutter sound so that you won't get caught" Yi Fei gave NaNa a thumb up and they went out from the toilet. NaNa promised Yi Fei to show her the pictures of the handsome guy later.

NaNa was happy because she had someone who supported her antics and actually understands her obsession about a good looking guy but she was happier because she had another batch of pictures that she could use to blackmail her cousin brother.

With a 'hehe' and devious smile, NaNa followed after Yi Fei to the parking lot.

Meanwhile, inside the taxi, Jun Liu sneezed and thought that someone must have talked about him.
