Idiot In Love -79 Chapter 37: Third Wheel

On Sat.u.r.day morning, Bai Jing Ting waited for Yi Fei in the parking lot of Yi Fei's apartment complex. He wore an all nude colour casual outfit. He checked his appearance at the rear-view mirror of his car. He looked das.h.i.+ngly handsome.

He saw Yi Fei walked towards his car and his smile widened. Yi Fei rarely dressed up when she went out but today she dressed up beautifully. Yi Fei was wearing a pair of denim shorts and a pretty white airy tank that screamed summer. For shoes, she was wearing a lightweight pair of canvas sneakers. She even had her cute black bowler hat.

Yi Fei let down her hair and wore a very simple natural makeup. She looked different from what she used to wear. Usually, Bai Jing Ting saw her wearing her jogger pants and her baggy s.h.i.+rt with no makeup on.

Bai Jing Ting was mesmerized by how beautiful she looked at the moment. For a second, he could feel that his heart had stopped beating.

Yi Fei did not enter his car directly but stood near the door while looking in the direction she came from earlier. Bai Jing Ting admired her from inside his car. Her hair looked so smooth; he had the urged to run his hand through her hair.

After some time, Yi Fei still did not enter the car so Bai Jing Ting rolled down his window.

"Fei, get in. It's hot outside" Bai Jing Ting asked Yi Fei to get into the car so that they could go to the amus.e.m.e.nt park. He could not wait to spend his day with Yi Fei.

"Wait. NaNa is not here yet" Yi Fei adjusted her hat and tucked her fringe into her right ear. Bai Jing Ting thought that the gesture was so seductive. Usually, he did not feel anything when he saw women were acting coquettishly with him by touching or playing with their hair but for some reasons, Yi Fei looked so s.e.xy when she did that.

He was disappointed that NaNa would be coming as well because he thought that it only the two of them will go to the amus.e.m.e.nt park. Bai Jing Ting had planned a lot for today's outing but all was ruined when there was an extra wheel coming along with them.

NaNa wore a short red flare skirt with a white lace top. Like Yi Fei, NaNa was also wearing a lightweight pair of canvas sneaker and bowler hat, but while Yi Fei wore a black bowler hat, hers was red. NaNa looked eye-catching in her outfit but Bai Jing Ting thought that she looked dull compared to Yi Fei.

Both of them entered the car. Yi Fei was riding shotgun because she insisted that she wanted to be the DJ. NaNa was quite upset about it because she needed to make sure that Bai Jing Ting and Yi Fei had a minimum interaction during the outing to the amus.e.m.e.nt park.

Last night, NaNa received a mission from her cousin brother. Wu Chen asked her to look after Yi Fei when in the amus.e.m.e.nt park. NaNa did not understand the meaning of the message at first but when she reread the message a few times, she a.s.sumed that she understood what he meant.

NaNa never mentioned that she will go to the amus.e.m.e.nt park as well but Wu Chen asked her to look after Yi Fei in the amus.e.m.e.nt park. He did not specify what she should do but considering the fact that Wu Chen asked her to look after Yi Fei, he might want her to forcefully tagged along with Yi Fei and Bai Jing Ting. So, NaNa begged Yi Fei so that she could tag along.

"Yi Fei, you see… I really like the amus.e.m.e.nt park. It has been a long time since I went into one" NaNa made a pitiful face.

"Do you want to come with me this Sat.u.r.day?" Yi Fei knew that NaNa could not go wherever she liked because of her family background so she sympathized with her.

NaNa nodded her head and both of them discussed what they should wear during the outing. Yi Fei was especially excited. That was what brought NaNa to be the third wheel for today.

While both of the women were obviously very happy, a certain someone was not as happy as them. Bai Jing Ting was frustrated because every time he wanted to get close with Yi Fei, NaNa will pull her away from him. Every time he wanted to speak with her, NaNa will chip in making it a three-person conversation instead of a romantic man-woman conversation that he saw in the movie.

The same went with taking pictures. Whenever Bai Jing Ting wanted to take a picture of Yi Fei by using his phone, NaNa will interrupt by barging into the frame or simply pulling Yi Fei away so that he could not take a proper picture of Yi Fei.

Bai Jing Ting strongly felt that NaNa was doing it on purpose. He was determined to confront her about it if he had the chance.

When it's time for lunch, the three of them went to a western restaurant near the amus.e.m.e.nt park. It was a peak hour in the restaurant but Bai Jing Ting managed to get a table of four for them.

After they were seated, Yi Fei suddenly wanted to go out; saying that she had something to do, leaving Bai Jing Ting and NaNa together at the table.

NaNa was looking at the menu when Bai Jing Ting suddenly spoke. "How is your cousin, Miss NaNa? I heard he returned to City K"

NaNa gave him a side glance. "No need to be so formal with me. You can call me NaNa". NaNa put down the menu and looked at Bai Jing Ting. "My brother is fine. I'll think he'll come to visit Yi Fei and me in the near future". NaNa purposely mentioned Yi Fei's name first to show priority.

"It will be rude of me to call you so familiarly when we are not even close with each other" Bai Jing Ting seemed unfazed by what NaNa said.

Bai Jing Ting wanted to talk more but suddenly Yi Fei returned to their table while holding a big fluffy pink cotton candy and a teenager on her left. Both NaNa and Bai Jing Ting looked at the two newcomers with a puzzled expression.

"Xiao Qi, please sit. You can eat with us" NaNa and Bai Jing Ting looked at Yi Fei; demanding an explanation with just the look in their eyes.

"This is Xiao Qi. I met her outside when I was queuing to buy cotton candy. She let me cut the queue so we bonded pretty fast. She said she couldn't get a table in this restaurant so I invited her to eat with us since we have an extra chair" Yi Fei was eating the cotton candy happily. She offered it to both NaNa and Bai Jing Ting.

Bai Jing Ting did not like eating sweet thing so he did not eat the cotton candy. Seeing the three persons eating the cotton candy happily made him feel like a nanny.

But still, he was impressed with how Yi Fei could make friend easily. While it was a good thing to be friendly, Bai Jing Ting felt helpless. It was not just a third wheel anymore. Now there was the fourth wheel. Maybe there would be a fifth wheel as well if Yi Fei did not stop making random friends with everyone.
