The news of Yi Fei getting the disgusting delivery spread fast among her colleagues. All of them were sympathetic to her. They were consoling her; saying that maybe someone was only playing around. Deep down, they know that n.o.body would play a joke like that.

When Bai Jing Ting heard what happened to Yi Fei, he went into the staffroom to comfort her. When Bai Jing Ting arrived in the staffroom, he saw that Yi Fei was sitting quietly on her chair. She looked so pitiful and weak. Bai Jing Ting had the urged to hug and protect her.

"Are you okay?" Bai Jing Ting put the chocolate on her table. The parcel was nowhere to be seen. Only the bouquet of the flower was on her table.

Yi Fei looked at him and nodded slowly. She was smiling but her smile did not reach her eyes. Bai Jing Ting stood beside her. She did not say anything so Bai Jing Ting just patted her head. His action received a curious look from the surrounding onlookers.

Yi Fei was very much in shock to bother about Bai Jing Ting's gesture and the surprised look from her colleagues. She was busy thinking about the parcel she received and what she had done to receive such a scary parcel and cruel insult.

On the other hand, NaNa was typing furiously on her phone. She was shocked to see such a scary parcel too. She thought that this kind of thing only happened in the movie and drama.

Wu Chen had just arrived inside his office when he received a message from NaNa. After reading the message, he straightaway called Yi Fei to comfort her. His call did not get through so he called NaNa instead.

NaNa picked up his call almost immediately. They talked about what happened and NaNa began recounting everything she knew; about the bouquet of flower and scary parcel. While NaNa was busy recounting, Wu Chen clenched his fist. There were too much flies flying around his Fei Fei.

After the call ended, Wu Chen called Liu s.h.i.+ into his office in a serious tone. "Liu s.h.i.+ changed my flight from Sat.u.r.day to Wednesday". Liu s.h.i.+ was shocked to hear the instruction from Wu Chen.

"Also, do a background check on someone named Wen Han from City L. I need the file by tomorrow" Before he could say anything, Wu Chen added another instruction."Don't bother coming home tonight. I am going to pull an all-nighter, bring me all the files I need to review before flying to City L".

Liu s.h.i.+ wanted to cry. He had been coming home late the whole week since he returned from City L. Now, his boss wanted to pull an all-nighter so that they could fly earlier to City L. His mother had been nagging him to find himself a wife. How was he going to find one if his boss was an intimidating workaholic?

Jun Liu was about to start his meeting with his staff when his phone rang. He looked at the caller's id, ignored the call and asked the board of directors in his company to be seated. The phone rang again making him annoyed. Begrudgingly, he answered the phone.

"Construction starts on Monday. You will fly to City L on Sat.u.r.day. You should stay at my house for the time being until they finish preparing your apartment" Wu Chen did not leave any room for negotiation.

Jun Liu was accustomed to how Wu Chen did his business but this time, he was too rus.h.i.+ng.

"This is not what we decided last week…" Before he could finish talking, Wu Chen cut him off.

"Ah Jun, this time, it is very important for me" Wu Chen was not used to being questioned on the decision he had made but since Jun Liu was his best friend, he thought that he needed to explain a bit to him.

Jun Liu only "mm" as his response to Wu Chen's demand. He started his meeting after that and asked his secretary to change his flight ticket from Monday evening to Sat.u.r.day morning.

Wu Chen continued his work and he was very serious about finis.h.i.+ng all his work. He did not entertain any message for a phone call because he did not want to be disturbed except for one.

MYM by Zhang Yixing blared across the room. He did not expect that the ringtone will ring so soon. The song was what he a.s.signed as a ringtone for Yi Fei because Yi Fei liked the song. She kept on whistling to the chorus of the song anywhere she goes.

"h.e.l.lo Chen Chen, good afternoon. I am sorry, I was very busy this morning; I don't have time to look at my phone. Why did you call me this morning?" A cheerful voice could be heard from the other end. In reality, Yi Fei was very nervous. This was her first time speaking with Wu Chen after he returned to City K.

"Are you okay? I heard about what happened from NaNa" Wu Chen was very worried about Yi Fei.

"So you've heard huh… I'm okay. I'm sure it was just a prank or maybe it was mistakenly sent to me" Even though she seemed to be laughing, Wu Chen could hear the hint of sadness in her voice.

"If you need someone to talk to, I am always here for you. You know that right?" Wu Chen heard that Bai Jing Ting had been comforting Yi Fei in the staffroom, Wu Chen felt agitated about it because he was jealous of Bai Jing Ting's closeness to Yi Fei.

Also, there's the matter with the Wen Han guy who sent flowers to both NaNa and Yi Fei. That kind of thing infuriated him the most. Even as a man himself, Wu Chen disliked men who were trying to play with other people's feeling.

"I know, I wish you were here" Yi Fei's voice became sad. She was emotional because of what happened this morning.

"Do you want me to come to you then?" There was a hint of teasing in his voice. Wu Chen liked it the most when Yi Fei said that she wished him to be there with her.

"Urm… Well… You see, I am only saying that because of what happened this morning… I mean, you are busy; you don't really have to come to me… That is only a wish ar… Sometimes, wish does not come true" Yi Fei was fidgeting on the other end.

Yi Fei only spoke of things on her mind. She did not expect that Wu Chen would take it seriously. Gone was the sad feeling she had earlier on. Now she was embarra.s.sed for saying that she wished Wu Chen was there with her.

"But what if I come to you?" Wu Chen did not want to give up teasing her. He needed to get something from her since he was flying to City L anyway.

"Chen Chen, aren't you very busy in City K? No need ar… You should do your work" Yi Fei wanted to change the topic.

"Yes, I am very busy here but what IF I come to City L? What are you going to do?" Wu Chen stressed the 'if' just to bait Yi Fei into thinking that he was not really serious about flying to City L.

"Then if you are coming here, then I'll treat you for lunch," Yi Fei thought that Wu Chen won't be able to fly to City L anytime he wanted. Even though Wu Chen was the heir of Wu Group, she thought that Wu Chen still needed to follow some rules.

How wrong she was because she did not know how Wu Chen conducted his business. Most of the time, Wu Chen gets what he wants. Yi Fei took the bait and Wu Chen was very happy.

"Then, if I come next week, you'll treat me for lunch" Wu Chen tried to confirm.

"Yes… Yes… I'll treat you lunch anywhere you want" Yi Fei did not think much about it since she already set her mind that Wu Chen won't come to City L; that he was only bluffing when he said that he will come to City L.

"What if I come to you earlier than that? What are you going to do?" Wu Chen laid another bait for her.

"Then this sister here will cook for you every weekend for a month… Haha" Yi Fei was entertained by Wu Chen that she forgot all about the creepy thing she received this morning.

"Remember, you are the one who said that" Wu Chen smiled cunningly from the other end.

They talked a bit before Yi Fei excused herself because she needed to enter her cla.s.s.

Yi Fei felt as if she had done something wrong but she could not pinpoint what thing she had done wrong. She had this feeling that someone was planning a cunning thing for her.
