Idiot In Love -64 Chapter 52: Antics

Half an hour later, Yi Fei emerged from her room wearing a maroon short flared skirt with a grey knitted top. She looked so fresh and Wu Chen could take his eyes off her.

"Chen Chen, do I look like a university student?" Yi Fei wanted to show off to Wu Chen. She twirled around.

Wu Chen wanted to say that rather than looking like a university student, she looked like a high school student but he kept it to himself. He was being careful with his words. In case, Yi Fei will take it the wrong way and be mad at him again.

"I had this outfit since my university day" Yi Fei giggled and looked at him with her adorable big eyes. She kept on looking at him as if she was waiting for something.

Wu Chen seemed to understand that Yi Fei waited for him to say something about it.

"So you maintained your figure from the university day. Who says you are fat? You should shove this outfit to their face" He played along with whatever Yi Fei wanted.

Hearing that Wu Chen was complimenting her, Yi Fei was so elated that she forgot about ever being mad with Wu Chen previously.

Yi Fei and Wu Chen went down to the parking lot and straightaway to Wu Chen's car. Wu Chen was happy that Yi Fei seemed to get used to this routine. He started his engine and they went to Wu Chen's apartment.

Along the way, Yi Fei was singing happily to the song played inside the car. Suddenly she stopped singing and looked at Wu Chen. She had a curious look in her eyes.

"Chen Chen, the beautiful lady we met in the supermarket yesterday, is that your ex-girlfriend?" Yi Fei was singing happily until she stumbled with the word 'girlfriend'. Then only she remembered the lady in the supermarket.

By now, Wu Chen was used to Yi Fei's random question. She could blurt the most random question in the most unexpected time. "Isn't it a bit too late for you to ask about that now?" Wu Chen answered without looking at her.

"Is it? Why?" When Yi Fei was curious, she tended to ask a lot of questions.

"Shouldn't you ask that yesterday after we b.u.mped into her?" Wu Chen did not bother to look at her.

"There's no rule saying that when you are curious about something, you should ask straight away. Also, there's no rule saying that I cannot ask question after something has pa.s.sed" Yi Fei continued rambling about the rule.

Then she was sidetracked and even talked about how problematic the teenagers nowadays for breaking the rule. She proceeded by telling him how rebellious her students were and concluded that 'maybe rules are meant to be broken'.

"So, that's your ex-girlfriend right?" After all that she had said, she still wants to know about it.

Wu Chen gave her a side glance and said "mm". The sight he saw after that was very comical.

From the corner of eyes, he saw Yi Fei peeked through her tops and touched her chest. She then held up her breath and tried to make her tummy flat. She patted her stomach before she exhaled her breath. After that, she looked down on her leg. She felt so dejected upon seeing her short legs. All of these were seen by Wu Chen.

He smirked when he saw how down she was. It was easy to know when she was feeling down because she wore her heart on her sleeve. Everything was shown through her facial expression and her antics.

"She is so beautiful, it should be a crime" Yi Fei muttered to herself.

In fifty metres ahead, there was a roadblock. Suddenly, Yi Fei had an idea.

Inside the car, out of the blue, she rolled down the window and she screamed. "Arghh police officer! Help me! Please help me capture all the beautiful girls irn derr worff"

Wu Chen was alarmed by Yi Fei's scream. He covered her mouth in an attempt to stop her before she could finish her sentence. Yi Fei red lipstick was all smudged because of his hand. She looked like the normal version of Harley Quinn – crazy because of the smudged lipstick but still relatively normal because she was wearing a normal clothes without all the spiky accessories.

The police officers ahead heard of the m.u.f.fled scream from Wu Chen's car. They waited until Wu Chen's car was close and pulled it over. Wu Chen gave a stern look to Yi Fei, warning her not to cause any trouble. Yi Fei was holding in her laugh.

One of the police officers came to them. The giggling Yi Fei stopped her giggle when she saw the face of the police officer. She smiled politely towards the officer.

"Isn't this Miss Yi Fei? Is there any problem here? I heard your scream just now" The officer took off his shades and looked at Yi Fei.

"h.e.l.lo officer Zhao. How are you? We are just playing around but I got excited and screamed louder than I intended to be. Don't mind us" Yi Fei spoke formally with the officer.

The officer looked at Wu Chen suspiciously like he was a criminal. Feeling that he needed to clear himself, Wu Chen spoke. "We are only playing. Fei Fei got too excited"

The officer ignored Wu Chen and asked Yi Fei. "Your boyfriend?"

Yi Fei denied. The officer and Yi Fei talked a bit before the officer let them go. "If you have any problem, you can find me anytime" Wu Chen felt irritated because when the officer spoke to Yi Fei, he especially stared at Wu Chen when he uttered the 'problem'. Yi Fei nodded her head and bid him goodbye.

"You must be close with that officer. He even asks you to find him anytime if you have a problem" Wu Chen felt a little jealous over the conversation between Yi Fei and the officer.

"I went to a blind date with him once. That's all" Yi Fei answered him. All of a sudden, she giggled. "You should see how panic you are when I started screaming just now. If I could record it, I will watch it every day to entertain me"

Yi Fei took out her mobile phone, she wanted to film Wu Chen but when she opened her front camera, she saw how messy her lipstick was. "I look like a crazy person" Yi Fei laughed at herself while she cleaned her face.

The way Yi Fei giggled was so cute. Idiotic but adorable – like a kid who gets handed candy unexpectedly. Seeing her giggled made him feel like giggling too.

After giggling for a few minutes, they reached the parking lot of Wu Chen's apartment complex. Wu Chen parked his car but he did not seem like he had the intention to get off the car.

He turned to face Yi Fei, squeezed her cheek and said –

"Don't be too naughty. Behave"
