Idiot In Love -62 Chapter 54: First Impression

To know why Jun Liu and NaNa were in such a predicament, this was what happened earlier –

Almost 4 o'clock in the evening, NaNa finished her tailor appointment and went directly to Wu Chen's apartment complex to be the third wheel.

After she reached her brother's house, she wanted to open the door quietly without informing Wu Chen and Yi Fei because she thought that she could see something interesting if she came unannounced.

Wu Chen had told her the security lock for his door previously so NaNa thought that she could come in easily. Wu Chen had mentioned something about the pa.s.sword and birthday so she thought that she could enter his house easily.

She pressed the number on the keypad but the pa.s.sword input kept on getting rejected. After trying so three times and all the pa.s.swords she entered were wrong, she decided to send her brother a message to ask for the pa.s.sword.

Since Wu Chen asked her to come quietly, she did not ring the bell as it will disturb the moment between Wu Chen and Yi Fei. After waiting for some time, her message was not seen by Wu Chen so she tried calling him but Wu Chen was not picking up the call. Her call and her messages were not entertained by Wu Chen so she could only try the pa.s.sword.

Wu Chen's apartment could be said as a place where the rich lived in City L. There were only two apartments on one level. When Jun Liu reached Wu Chen's apartment level with his luggage, he saw a lady was trying to punch in the pa.s.sword of the house.

Jun Liu decided not to talk with the lady but as he walked closer, he realized that the house that the lady was trying to get into was Wu Chen's house.

Seeing how the lady failed after she pressed a series of number onto the keypad, Jun Liu had this suspicion that the lady was trying to break into the house.

"What are you doing in my friend's place?" Jun Liu took her by surprise and when he saw the face of the lady, he was sure that the lady was a journalist. He remembered her face in the airport; she was taking pictures of Wu Chen.

Jun Liu grabbed her arm to prevent her from running away.

"Arghh let me go. This is my brother's house. What are you doing? NaNa was taken aback by the man sudden action towards her.

"Nice try but my friend doesn't have a sister. Who are you?" Jun Liu had some issues with journalists so he was not fond of them.

"Wu Chen is my brother. Let me go. It hurts. Hey! It's you. We met each other at the airport" NaNa remembered the guy. It was rare to see a very good looking guy in City L because she did not go out much but she remembered him. She still has his picture on her phone.

When the lady mentioned Wu Chen, Jun Liu realized that the lady did have some similar features to Wu Chen especially their eyes and nose but he couldn't be haste in this matter. The lady in front of him could be a liar.

Jun Liu wanted to ring the bell but the lady grabbed his hand before he could do so. "Don't ring the bell. It will disturb them, my brother will be enraged. Let me try the pa.s.sword one more time. I think I can remember it now".

Without listening to the lady, Jun Liu rang the bell anyway. Jun Liu saw that the lady was very furious, she gave Jun Liu a displeased look but Jun Liu returned her gaze with an even furious look so she could only receive her fate and made a face like she was wronged by him.

The door opened to reveal Wu Chen with an exasperated look. NaNa wanted to say; 'see I told you that my brother will be unhappy' but she kept it to herself. Her wrist was hurting; the man exerted too much force to keep her from running away - she wasn't even trying to run.

"I caught her trying to break into your house. She said that she was your sister. Is that right?" Jun Liu did not even bother looking at the lady when he asked Wu Chen.

"Yes, this is my sister. Let go of her hand, it will bruise" Wu Chen was quick to explain the situation. He invited Jun Liu and NaNa to come into his house.

Without delay, he showed Jun Liu his room. NaNa was furious, Wu Chen could tell by her expression while looking at Jun Liu. Wu Chen did not know what happened between the two of them but he was sure, it wasn't something nice.

"I don't know you have a sister. I thought she was paparazzi" Jun Liu seriously thought that NaNa was paparazzi since the first time he saw her in the airport.

"She's my cousin" Wu Chen did not feel like explaining everything to Jun Liu. Now that there were four persons in the house, he felt that his place was too crowded and it would be hard for him to have a moment with Yi Fei.

After Jun Liu had finished settling down his things, he went out to the living room to see the lady was whining about him to another short lady – the one that Wu Chen hugged in the airport. The lady put ice on her wrist. Jun Liu felt a shred of guilt. He did not mean to hurt her. It's just that he did not know his own strength.

Jun Liu had been practising mixed martial arts in the gym so his grip was quite strong. He approached NaNa to apologize.

"I'm sorry about what happened earlier. I thought you are paparazzi so I used force with you. Please forgive me" Jun Liu knew that anyone related to Wu Group must be formidable so he did not want to offend anyone.

"Paparazzi? How could I become a paparazzi? I am too beautiful to be paparazzi. Why do you think that I am paparazzi?" NaNa was still bitter and her wrist was hurting.

Jun Liu wanted to explain to her but before he could say anything, the short lady spoke.

"NaNa, you should not blame him. Why didn't you ring the bell? Everything would be easy if you just rang the bell" Yi Fei was trying to pacify the situation between NaNa and Wu Chen's friend.

Jun Liu did not have a good impression of NaNa as he thought that she was paparazzi but it was different with the short lady. Upon hearing how rational the short lady was, Jun Liu had a good impression of her. As expected by someone who was fancied by his friend, Wu Chen. But his good impression of the lady wavered when he heard the next sentences coming out of her mouth.

"If you want to play a spy, it shouldn't be like that ar… You must know how to hack. If you know how to hack, you can get anything you want. I know this website, a trusted website that could teach you how to hack. I have a friend from university in the computer science major. He could teach you as well" Yi Fei told NaNa the web address of the website she mentioned and talked about all the hacking things she read on the internet. NaNa listened attentively and nodded her head in all seriousness.

The two ladies in front of him seemed to forget that he was standing there. They seemed to be immersed in a conversation about hacking. Jun Liu thought that he needed to re-evaluate his impression of the lady picked by Wu Chen.

"I'm NaNa. Today I am not going to be mad at you. It was my own fault. I am too lacking. Next time, I am going to be better" NaNa smiled and extended her hand to Jun Liu.

"Jun Liu" Jun Liu took NaNa's hand. After the handshake, he felt as if he couldn't understand anything about women's way of thinking. What did she mean by lacking and become better next time? He felt as if the ladies were talking about something bad.

Wu Chen who was not around suddenly spoke out of nowhere. "Fei Fei, don't teach her weird things. Come, let's eat".

The two ladies who kept on whispering earlier suddenly stood up. They were giggling suspiciously while looking at Jun Liu. The gesture made Jun Liu questioned his decision to stay in Wu Chen's place. He felt as if his days won't be peaceful in City L.
