Idiot In Love -52 Chapter 64: First Dispute

"What are you talking about, Brother Ting? I don't have a star or what. I'm just saying this because I feel like being poetic. I am a Language Teacher after all haha…" Yi Fei giggled.

Bai Jing Ting looked at Yi Fei to find a trace of sadness in her eyes. Maybe Yi Fei was good at concealing her sadness. He could not find any.

"Well, I'm being poetic too" Bai Jing Ting let go of her hand. "You still want to stay here?"

Yi Fei shook her head. The night was getting late and it was cold. Last time when she went to eat at the rooftop of the Wu Hotel, she did not feel too cold because she was wearing long jeans. Now that she wore a midi dress, she knew how cold it could get at night – just like how her heart was right now.

She thought that they will go out to fetch Yi Fei's car in the parking lot of the McDonald restaurant but Bai Jing Ting drove straight to Yi Fei's apartment complex. Bai Jing Ting asked for her car key so that he could send off her car tomorrow morning but Yi Fei declined; saying that she will get it herself.

Yi Fei went out of Bai Jing Ting's car and waved to him before she went back to her apartment. Bai Jing Ting stayed until Yi Fei's disappeared from his sight. Then only after that, he returned to his own place.

A certain someone had been waiting for quite some time in a dark area of the parking lot of Yi Fei's apartment complex. The Black Lexus stayed hidden in the dark so Bai Jing Ting and Yi Fei did not see the car.

Right after entering her house, Yi Fei sprawled on the sofa of her living room. There were so many things going on for today that made her tired. Her heart was still aching but at least her tummy was full and she had satisfied her craving so she was grateful for that.

There were a lot of things going on through her mind; like how should she act around Wu Chen now that he ran back to his ex or what should she do to stop her heart from aching.

All of a sudden, a faint knock on the door disturbed her from her thinking. Yi Fei thought that maybe it was Bai Jing Ting who knocked on the door. She always left something in people's car when she rides with them. She wondered what did she left in his car this time.

An unexpected person showed up in front of her door. Wu Chen had dishevelled hair and clothes. He looked rather pathetic. Before Yi Fei could say anything, Wu Chen opened his mouth first.

"Fei Fei, I'm sorry that I'm late" Wu Chen looked tired.

"Then go back to your house and rest" Some parts of Yi Fei wanted to talk to Wu Chen but some parts of her were rebelling.

"About today, I didn't mean to leave you waiting for me but something came up so…" Before Wu Chen could finish his sentence, Yi Fei cut him off.

"I told you already. It was not your fault. People have a different kind of priority. Things should be resolved according to that priority so I get it. You don't have to feel sorry about it. In the end, I still get to eat the cheeseburger that I crave so, no problem. You should head back. You don't look good" Yi Fei was saying all those words without any expression on her face.

Upon seeing how Yi Fei was indifferent about the whole thing, Wu Chen was sure that she was angry. NaNa was always like that when she was angry at home so Wu Chen knew that Yi Fei was very angry, or if not, she was terribly disappointed at the moment.

"We'll go eat the cheeseburger tomorrow, okay?" This was the thing that made Wu Chen worried. He had experienced it beforehand; of how difficult it was to coax Yi Fei.

"No. I don't want to go anymore. I already eat the burger just now so I don't feel like eating anymore" Yi Fei was getting angrier by now.

"But I promised you that I'll go with you" Wu Chen looked at her sadly.

"Yes, you did but you bailed out last minute, right?" This time, she could feel that her eyes were moist.

"Previously before NaNa came and became my housemate, I always go and eat the burger myself. I'm quite happy with the arrangement. You promised me that you will accompany me but you didn't. I started thinking, I have always been able to eat alone by myself and I am always happy when I did. So I decided that if I want to eat a double cheeseburger, then I'll go eat that d.a.m.n double cheeseburger and be happy about it – with or without you" The tear at the corner of her eyes threatened to fall.

"It's not what you think it was… Li Wei, she…" Wu Chen ran after Yi Fei after he dealt with Li Wei but he guessed that Yi Fei might already misunderstand them.

"You don't have to explain anything to me" Yi Fei sighed.

"Just… What are we? I don't think that there's something between us that obliged you to explain everything to me… Right?" There was a hopeful sound when she said 'right' as if she wanted him to refute her.

"Fei Fei…" Wu Chen wanted to explain more but the voice of someone, preventing him from doing so.

"What is going on here?" Bai Jing Ting approached them and he handed over a phone with a Unicorn case to Yi Fei. "You left your phone in my car; I figured out that you might need it"

Yi Fei took her phone. "Nothing happens. Wu Chen is about to leave. You should leave too Brother Ting. It's getting late" Yi Fei mustered a smile to Bai Jing Ting.

She looked at Wu Chen with a heavy heart. "You should go back too. I'm tired" She left no room for discussion so both Bai Jing Ting and Wu Chen left her house.

Previously, Yi Fei switched off her phone after she took the call from Wu Chen in the fast food restaurant. She switched on her phone and found out that she had 47 missed calls and a lot of messages in her QQ.

She opened her call log. She had 43 missed calls from Wu Chen and the rest was from her friend, John. When she opened her QQ, she had a lot of messages from Wu Chen. He kept on apologizing and asking where she was. She did not bother to read the rest of the messages from Wu Chen.

She was more interested in the other person's message. She opened his messages.

JohnnyJohnJohn: Honeyyyyyyyyyyy… Faye… Fei…

JohnnyJohnJohn: I'm in City L. Let's meet up.

JohnnyJohnJohn: Shen Yi Fei, how dare you ignore me?

Yi Fei laughed when she read the messages from John. She looked at the time; it was half an hour past eleven. She searched for John's name in her contact list and pressed the call b.u.t.ton.

"Now you remember how to call me. I thought you were dead" The manly voice scolded her without even saying h.e.l.lo first.

Even though he had a manly voice that could easily seduce a lot of girls, including Yi Fei once upon a time, Yi Fei did not melt at the sound of his voice because she knew that John was not interested in a woman.

Yi Fei and John talked about a lot of things until midnight. By the time they finished talking, Yi Fei had long forgotten about Wu Chen's messages.
