Jason got back into his room and walked towards the window, he looked down on this huge city, the lights are still on and people are still awake, this city is very alive and people are living their lives.

"No matter where I am, I see people having fun, as well as some of them, suffer, but at the end of the day it's their own life, I have nothing to do with it, I only care about myself and no one else"

Jason said and looked outside, suddenly he heard something, it was from Charlotte's room, he hear her door opening.

"She is definitely hiding something, I should wait and then follow her"

Jason said and waited till she got into the elevator, after he heard the elevator go down he slowly opened his door and looked around, seeing no one is in the corridor, he walked out of his room, he walked to the side where there is a gla.s.s wall to see down the street, he waited for a while until he saw Charlotte dressed in a brown coat walking on the street.

He then made his way towards the ground and started to follow her, he was silent and couldn't be noticed by anyone let alone Charlotte, he followed her till she came in front of the local police station, seeing this Jason was confused.

'Why would she come here?'

He questioned and slowly followed her, he then saw her walk into the police station, everything seems to be silent so he climbs up a roof next to the station and see what she is doing, Jason then saw that every policeman in the station had been knocked out and Charlotte seems to be browsing through their computers.

With Jason's supervision he could clearly see what Charlotte was looking through, he saw her observing the woman she was staring at the pub, he saw her looking at the area around where that woman uses to hang around.

'Why is she after this woman?'

Jason questioned and tried to listen if Charlotte is talking to herself when he saw her murmur something, it was faint but he could hear it.

"She might be the one, she was not in the city when the murder happened, I have to confront her myself and see if she is the murderer or not"

Charlotte said, hearing this Jason frowned.

"Which murder is she talking about?"

Jason questioned but before he could think of anything he saw Charlotte walk out of the police station and headed towards the pub.

'Is she going to confront that woman, I should follow her'

Jason thought and followed her, as he expected she arrived outside the apartment he saw in that footage, he looked at Charlotte as she seems to be looking around, it didn't take her long to spot her target as she saw the woman she was looking for.

Jason walked to the side and blended into the shadows to see what happens next, he suddenly saw Charlotte move very fast and grab the woman and take her into the dark alley, Jason followed slowly and looked at what is happening inside, he saw Charlotte grabbing the woman by her neck and lifting her up against the wall.

The woman tried to get out from the grip but it seems Charlotte is very strong.

"You, what do you want?"

The woman asked as she tried to catch her breath.

"Where, were you the day before yesterday and the day before that?"

Charlotte asked.

"I was with one of my prey, why do you care, don't tell me a Snow Fox like you would care about a puny human"

The woman said.

"So you didn't kill my sister?"

Charlotte said and started to tighten her hands.

"Your sister, I don't even know who you are talking about, I didn't kill supernatural beings"

The woman said.

Hearing this Charlotte let go of the woman, the woman fell on the ground, she rubbed her neck and glared at Charlotte but she is not foolish enough to attack her.

"Do you know about the murder that happened on the highway?"

Charlotte asked.

"So you are talking about that murder, I have nothing to do with it, but I heard that there is a very powerful being that entered the city day before yesterday, you should go and see him"

The woman said and got back to her feet, she dusted her dress which is stinking of alcohol, Charlotte glared at this woman and walked away.

The woman did nothing but stare at Charlotte with anger, even though she is furious it would be suicidal to attack Charlotte on her own and she is not in a very good term with the other five supernatural beings in the city so she cannot ask their help as well.

As Charlotte walked away, Jason who heard everything on from the side had a very wide smile on his face.

"Who would have thought that Charlotte would actually be Celicy's sister, but that woman said she is a Snow Fox but I thought Celicy was a Snow Wolf, or am I missing something, but this confirms one thing, Charlotte is after Celicy's murderer, I would love to see her reaction when the person she wants to kill would be f.u.c.king her"

Jason said and laughed, he then went back to his hotel room to rest for the day.
