He clenched his hand tightly. 

"Your just got lucky your Huángshang.! if not, Im really going to beat you!"

He thought furiously, why of all people why it has to be his father who happened to be his unexpected guest!

He suddenly remembered Ye under the table when he looked at her she was already fast asleep.

He carried her back into his bed chamber when his father suddenly showed up!

Taizi's flushed, the color of his face become white. His majesty was taking a glance toward him and Ye on his arms.

His father just caught him red handed!

Huángshang noticed that Ye Gōngzhǔ's hand had crumpled into Tàizǐ's dress tightly, she's probably unconsciously holding it as she was pa.s.sed asleep.

Her gestured made his Majesty realized that this stubborn little princess had completely submitted herself to his son.

"After everything settled you have to give her a proper wedding!" 

Huángshang give his son an angry squint as he sat heavily on a chair and poured himself a cup of tea. 

He did not bring any Eunuchs as his visit was unintended.

"Don't forget, she's still my niece!"

Am I not your son? 

He almost muttered but he restrained himself, he clearly knew that his father adores all his daughters and Ye'er is always his favorite amongst his nieces.

"We already planned it!" 

He said softly instead, while he slowly laid Ye Gōngzhǔ in his bed.

Huángshang frowned, he just realized that his son's gesture towards Ye Gōngzhǔ was rather looked like a protective tigress than a lion king.

"Surely when people fell in love they'll changed unknowingly!"

He thought happily, he didn't made a mistake when he bestowed Ye'er to him.

"If you did not disturbed us earlier you will probably have a cute little grandchild end of this year!"

Tàizǐ muttered sourly that makes 

Huángshang choke from his tea.

"What did you just say?"

"Never mind!" Tàizǐ snapped.

"I did not know you're that busy this days!"

His Majesty's voiced sound sardonic.

"Next time, I will asked an appointment before meeting with you, Tàizǐ diànxià!"

He suddenly looked at his father with a defiant expression in his face.

"Fù huáng. !" 

He said defiantly with a trace of embarra.s.sment in his face. His father is his Majesty after all, he would always come and goes as he pleased.

But what makes him mad is that his timing, why it has to be today?

"I know you're frustrated but clearly we have some situation that needs both of our concerns!"

Tàizǐ sighed in surrender but still he was frustrated.

"You will have her all you can only. .

Huángshang paused emphasizing the word "only!" while glaring at him. 

"Only. .if you escape in this dilemma's unscathed!"

"How will going to deal with this problem?"

His Majesty's were rather curious.

"I already planned everything to counter the situation, however I want your help this time!"

"Oh.!" His father's brow raised. "What is it that my son wants for my help?"

This is the first time Tàizǐ had personally asked something to him.

"We will going to make sure that Ah'nuh Gōngzhǔ will going to succeed in saking her marriage alliance. .

"Are you crazy?" 

Huángshang interrupted him.

"What if she's going to demand you as his consort?"

"That is most likely. ! I already expected it but I think she's not stupid enough to give up her dominion over me!"

"That is also reasonable!"

His father agreed." But what do you mean we have to help her?"

"Another way arround!"

He smiled mischievously. "You have a lot of sons, why you were only focusing on me? for intance eight prince!"

"Don't you dare think about it!" 

Huángshang snap immediately to dismissed his son's nonsensical idea. Eight prince is no more than a child for being so immature.

He said sourly. Yu might be immature but if his Majesty will knew his son already had someone he like he might be shocked.

That was rather too soon to be revealed! He thought. He also want Yu'er to spill the beans for himself.

"Sixth prince!"

"Wu'er?"

Huángshang gasped in shocked.

"I think you had to pay more attention to all your childrens since you had to many!" 

He said grimly. "I wont be surprised if you won't remembered any of them!"

"That. .I will take as a compliment!" 

Huángshang said calmly. "When you lost the one you valued most then you will understand why I choose to have many women!"

"Its not that I don't love all of them!" Huángshang continued. "Its just because I badly hurt when I lost that particular someone and I don't want to feel the same pain again. Having many to loved and not giving your heart to only one is the safest!"

Tàizǐ diànxià frowned.

"I never knew you had that someone!" 

He said curiously, true that his royal father have too many women in his harem but that doesn't meant that he did not loved them all. 

He favored all of them so that no one would scheme behind his back but as a woman becomes a mother and gives a royal sons to his father, that would be quite a different story. 

"We always had that someone!" 

Huángshang said looking at his son's face, studying his expression.

"I never regretted having too many women in my harem. .don't forget your my son to one of them, with out you probably my life would be boring!"

Tàizǐ suddenly looked into his father's face a smirked curved into his lips.

"Don't forget that I also give you quite a headache, Fù huáng!"

"Indeed!" Huángshang said sourly. "But atleast you're the only one who would dare to opposed me in an open and give a.s.sistance when the times I needed the most!"

"Its my duty as a son!" Tàizǐ snapped.

"That's surprising then. ."His father chuckled, "Given your blunt att.i.tude!"

Tàizǐ laughed its rare for them to have a good conversation like this as a father and son, not a subject and a ruler.

In casual time he would rather find his father yelling at him for opposing each other.

Indeed he always give quite a lot of headache to his father and to the other ministers in the court, the only person he would be lenient and careful is Duke Yan, Ye'ers father.

That old man also had a bad temperament just like his daughter.

"Lets call for tonight!" 

Huángshang got into his feet. "I trust you on this and I will consider your suggestion!"

He said pertaining to the problem they discussed awhile ago and his son's suggestion about knowing all his childrens.

"Anyway. ." His father said turning back towards him "Take it easy, childrens are not easy to get as chickens laying their eggs in the barn!"

Huángshang said with a trace of smile in his face before leaving him stunned. He suddenly felt the heat runs through his face as he felt embarra.s.sed.

He went to his bedchamber as soon as his father left. He saw his beloved sleeping peacefully and her bare chest was visible to him as she did not tuck in properly when she hide in haste.

Looking on it makes his imagination run wild, he shook his head to dismissed his desire that's starting to fire up. 

He placed a gentle and quicked kissed into her lips, afraid he might go insane and wake her up to continue that unfinished thing they had shared earlier.

He let a sighed before pus.h.i.+ng her in the other side so they could fit in one bed, he carefully covered her with the quilts and hug her tightly before he doze off.
