She Was 18 23 Chapter 22

It took her a while before she got her senses back. She thought of the sweet moment she had with him earlier and just the thought of it brought s.h.i.+vers down her spine. She stood up and went to the walk in closet to change. She was still clutching to the blanket Brandon covered her with. She felt a slight warmth on her cheeks feeling the embarra.s.sment she felt after he left.

Her eyes landed on the closet full of clothes. She did not know how the clothes got there or who placed them there. She thought she would ask him later. She panicked as she realized one thing. She opened the drawer where she kept her undies. She was shocked that the drawer was now full of intimates she would need in all colors and designs. Did he buy all these?

Remebering she needs them, she grabbed a pair and immediately wore them. She scanned the closet and saw a sleeveless white blouse and paired it with her favorite denim shorts. She stopped to check herself in front of the mirror before she left her room.

As she neared the kitchen, she breathed in, enjoying the smell of delicious food cooking. She quickly walked towards the kitchen to greet Aunt D only to be surprised that it was not Aunt D cooking but Brandon.

Brandon eyed her from head to toe while cooking the pasta. She was wearing the clothes he bought for her while he was away. He wanted to smile. He noticed she loved denim shorts when she's at home so he bought a couple of it when he inspected the newly erected Sunflower Garden Mall.

"It looks good on you." He said.

"Oh." She blushed at his open complement. "Thank you. I did not know when or how the clothes got in my closet. Did you put them there?"

"Sent it the other day and asked Aunt D to do it."

"And the undies?" She looked at him suspiciously to see if he would deny it.

"I bought them, too. I thought you would need a few pairs so I bought some from the mall."

"Where is Aunt D?" She changed the conversation as she felt her cheeks getting fl.u.s.tered at the conversation.

"She left in the afternoon. She said she needs to finish some business."

She nodded in agreement.

"If you are ready to eat then sit. Not sure what you want tonight so I cooked seafood pasta for you."

She looked at the table and saw the pasta sitting on her side of the table. She sat down as he was taking his ap.r.o.n off. She wondered how he still looks manly even with an ap.r.o.n. She remembered the day she saw him with only a towel on. She shook her head which he took notice.

"Anything wrong, my love? She was surprised when she felt her breath on her cheeks. He was now seated beside her.

"Are you not joining me for dinner?" She asked.

"Why? Would you like me to join you?" He teased her whlie he leaned on the table beside her, one arm on the table supporting his head.

"Of course not!" Embarra.s.sed, she forked the noodles and shoved it in her mouth leaving some sauce at the corners of her mouth.

She was so lovely, the red sauce making her lips look even more moist and s.h.i.+ny.

"I would love to eat with you but I have a meeting tonight at work. But I'd love to have a little taste of the sauce." Then he leaned towards her, grabbed her by the neck and sucked at her slightly parted mouth, savoring her lips, and licking the sauce that was on her lips.

"Mmmmh. I love the tangy, sweet taste." Then he stood up leaving her there, surprised and aroused at his advances.

It's almost midnight and he was still in a video conference with his managers. There was an obvious attack again at one of his hotels in the US. As a businessman, his gutts are telling him there is more to it. After his managers reported that the investigation is still ongoing, he called all of the stockholders to calm them down. He does not want anymore problem arising from within the company and the best way is to make sure that the sistuation is explained and properly address the issue.

The people who did this knows it would have a great impact on his business. If word spread that another Sunflower Hotel was attacked, his management will be challenged.

"I will be there. Prepare the private jet. See you in the evening."

The present hotel manager obviously was relieved but trembled at the same time. The man is softspoken and reserved but when challenged or provoked, he has a heart of stone towards the enemies. Having a video meeting with him was enough to make the room cold, if it is in person he may freeze him to death.

He stood up and went out of the suite room. It would be a long day for him from now on.
