Extremely exhausted from aftereffects of the curse, Rais tried to keep his eyes open, while his eyes began to blink frequently. Exerting the pressure off his back, Rias laid flat on his bed to quickly fall asleep.
Although Rais neglected to tell Anila of his dream, previously he had informed Anila, however; similar to him, she remained entirely lost. At first, she thought it was part of the curse, only to later realize she never experienced the same.
From distress and pressure, Anila's hands curled up into a fist, "the longer I stay, the more danger will arise of our a.s.sociation, I need to depart as soon as I successfully remove his curse."
Despite rarely needing to rest, Anila's distressed face made her look exhausted. Thinking of the curse, Anila felt bittersweet. Even though it remained the foremost hurdle for them, it likewise made her stay beside her son for longer, otherwise, she would leave him to sever their connection. Although reluctant of her cruel, calculative decision, this remained the only safe path for both of them, the sole secure path from their enemy.
Despite striving during the past six years, she could not find a solution to remove it. Now merely hanging on to the hope of spiritual cultivation breakthrough, Anila strived, otherwise; she would have to take drastic measures.
"When it weathers once more within a few months, the containment rune I carved will no longer contain the curse mark. Should I apply the rune seal crafted by the Grandmaster, also if I do how long will that last?"
"I need to find a permanent solution. I should find a way to contract mom."
"Mother is one of the best healers there is though I doubt the safety of contacting her." Shaking her head, Anila abandoned the uncertain thought since her enemies might discover their long-distance communication.
Thus overwhelmed with pressure, Anila wandered outside, soaring to the corner of the hip roof, beside an architectural decoration.
Alongside her, the roof extended to a thin cylindrical extension, with three budding lotuses, at the outer edge. While on the top of the extension anch.o.r.ed an intricate cutout of a phoenix, seeking to secure the flowers.

Shortly rolling her eyes away, she gazed at the lifeless skies, peering through the acc.u.mulated smoky yin energy.
Due to the immense forest, the climate stayed wet throughout the seasons. Surprisingly now, cleared of clouds, the rear cloudless sky gleamed with four distinct, colorful moons.
Stretching beyond the moons, the skies, resembled an endless, pitch-black abyss, starving to devour any form of light grasping it. Nonetheless, occasionally rear flashes of the heavenly phenomenon lightened it, even though no other astral body produced any radiance within the great unknown.
Anilas eyes gleamed with blue luminescence when faint blue light from Rup mirrored off them. Similar to the jade-green Nuur, wheat-golden Urine, the blue Rup held the name of Zarieun daughters.
Eios, named after the only son of Zarieun gleamed a slightly purple hue. While the brightest of the moons, Eithr dwelled absent of her view, reminding Anila of the arrival of a new month. The fifth month, the month of Earth began while the month of Fire pa.s.sed.
Placing her forehead on her arm, Anila relaxed at the top of the roof during the night. Although yin energy made the surrounding harmful, Anila paid no attention since she remained unharmed.
Before even the earliest rays escaped the sun, Rais began his usual training routine for the past two years. With instruction from Anila, Rais practiced every daybreak and afternoon for the following twenty sun-moon alternations, pus.h.i.+ng his body to a new limit every time.
According to his mother, he first needed to build up his body, to manipulate the violent martial Qi; otherwise, it would be harmful to the potential of the body. To prevent him from becoming a musclehead, Anila likewise taught him various runes and made him study geography and history of different eras.
Although he desired to ignite fire like Dinna, his mom refused while making him continuously endeavor on his archery skill. Although his mother a.s.sured, he would learn magic very soon, before the martial technique, he still felt slightly frustrated from tedious training with little result.
When Rais practiced, a rooster casually strolled past him while he grabbed on to the rooster without glancing at it. Watching it breathe fire towards his face, he felt bad for himself.
"Mom, can you see? Your son is worse than a chicken. do you not feel ashamed."
Anila laughed at him while feeding Silver Descent.
Rais kept holding on to the rooster, "mom, you said mana was much easier to control that True Qi. If it is easy, then why do I have to wait so long. Look at him, the legend, Lord Flame Berserker, although domesticated not to breathe fire, yet he defies his destiny."
"Their body differs greatly from human and other mortals, him breathing fire even unconsciously is natural, it shouldn't surprise you."
Facing the rooster, Rais couldn't accept that he jealously envied a walking piece of meat.
"Little Rais, although you may fall behind your peers towards the beginning, it is wise you formulate a stable foundation. Recognize that you build not a cottage, however a fortress."
Releasing the rooster, Rais lifted the bow, "Mom, am I fortunate? Since I already have stable ground for it." Holding a smirk, he resumed his training.
Slightly impressed Anila glanced at her little boy "Flattering eh, now that you solidified your intent you require one additional gain."
"You lie not," Rais turned his head with excitement.
"Its time for the next step, but I can only guide you after you hit the center of the target ten times with the remaining arrows."
Counting the arrows, Rais clenched his fist in excitement; nevertheless, he remained calm.
Although he misdirected the first by a large margin, Rais did it on purpose to take off the pressure since the next shot perfectly nailed the center.
When he began, Rais had twenty arrows, now only four remained. Although most attempts were close, only seven hit the dead center. Letting out a long breath of air, Rais looked at the remaining four arrows with a frown.
"You have improved a lot, but you still need some time. No one becomes a marksman after just a few months of practice. It takes years to master the skills. Don't be discouraged, keep practicing, and you will get better."
Rais placed the bow to the side while he grinned, then marched inside the house. He carried out three of his moms' kitchen knives, furthermore, he launched them with all his strength, surprisingly all three of them struck the dead center of the target.
"I win this one." Rais started laughing, "yes, I get to learn magic spells."
"As I was thinking, I am way better at directly throwing things."
