Hero Of The World 1 Prologue

On a sunny day, in a certain city, in a relatively big bakery more precisely at the work lounge. There was a youth named 'Ned' changing from his work clothes to his usual clothes, the youth had finished his work for the day and was thus preparing to head home. He  finished changing quickly then started walking to the bus station nearby.

Ned, was what you would say a normal average university student, 20 y/old, a bit handsome and has an average height of 173 cm, and works part-time jobs after cla.s.ses, for he was short of money and didn't want to burden his parents with his tuition fees as they were barely going by as they are with their jobs.

He was like usual going back home from his job at the bakery called 'Sweet Tooth, after taking the bus, he sat on the corner silently gazing out the window, recalling the girl that kept glancing at him today at cla.s.s, she was a pretty one and she did pick his interest for quite a while now but the only thing he could do was to smile at her bitterly, due to his financial situation his own time was mostly filled with work and studies. While he actually want to, he doesn't have time to care for a girl.

He as most boys his age also have girls he fancied but didn't have the courage to talk to, and it wasn't as if he never dated a girl as there were a few in the past, most recently was Alice, his ex, but they broke up due to her choosing a university in another city. While he actually didn't mind her being in another city, she wanted to move on with her life.

As he was thinking of this his eyes wandered about in the bus, he found a beautiful girl close to him and as she noticed him, he smiled at her, and the girl who caught his smiling face returned a smile, as he was a handsome youth wearing clean and neat clothes. Although he smiled at her and she returned it, it didn't mean anything more than a friendly gesture.

While thinking to himself, that after things get better and he either gets a well paying job or score in the lottery he'll start dating again, the bus came to a short stop, and he got off, then started walking to his apartment .

In but fifteen minute he was at his at his place. Unlocking the door he stepped in and hanged his keys on the hanger on his left side.

Taking his shoes off and wearing slippers he washed his hands then headed straight to the kitchen, after cooking something satisfying to eat he went to the bedroom and sat on his desktop  and played on his computer some games he likes. There were lots of games that he liked and it wasn't the only thing he does to relax, he usually read novels to relax, he had read many of them but his favourites were of fantasy genre, it was just that currently he was still searching for a new novel to read as he read almost all of them so he went directly to play games. This was how he relaxes each day after work. And eventually after a good two hours of playing such games he was tired and so he went to sleep.

Upon sleeping though, due to his fatigue he wasn't able to notice the blinding light s.h.i.+ning on his figure for a few seconds. The light was so bright it dyed the room completely white, and along with the light, there was a chinning 'Magic circle' on the floor below the bed. After awhile the light along with the glowing Magic circle vanished, and the room was restored to it's usual calmness.

What was different though was the empty s.p.a.ce on the bed where Ned's figure was supposed to be. Ned was gone along with the unordinary phenomena that occurred in the room.
