Ever since Pei Zhen had gotten into a coma, Xiao Nian always looked like he was on the brink of tears.

Knowing that Pei Zhen had turned into a cat was just another straw on the camel's back.

When Fu Sichen brought up getting neutered, Pei Zhen immediately started to yowl. He stared straight at Xiao Nian, pleading like his life was at stake. He desperately tried to remind Xiao Nian to quickly rescue his manhood.

Xiao Nian felt himself dripping with cold sweat. He quickly replied resourcefully, "Humans have rights. Cats have rights too! We need to respect Pei Zhen's opinion!"

Fu Sichen went quiet for a moment. For now, he chose to ignore the fact that he called the cat Pei Zhen. "Cats can express their opinions?"

They can! They can!

Pei Zhen started to meow frantically. He wriggled in violent protest to express his unwillingness to get neutered.

"Look!" Xiao Nian shouted, "He's against it!"

Fu Sichen didn't really know what to say.

The question of whether or not to neuter him was no longer Fu Sichen's main concern. He responded coldly by saying, "Oh." Then, he changed the topic and said, "Excuse me, I'm going back to the hospital."

Pei Zhen was still lying in the hospital.

Fu Sichen suddenly realized something important— since the accident, Pei Zhen hadn't bathed even once. That guy used to be obsessive-compulsive when it came to hygiene. He definitely would want to take a bath.

Fu Sichen's expression was so stony cold that Xiao Nian felt intimidated and unconsciously took a step back. Carrying the cat with him, Fu Sichen stopped at the doorway. "Stay away from my cat from now on."

Pei Zhen the cat looked on helplessly.

Xiao Nian didn't have much fighting spirit left. Not only did he not manage to gain custody of the cat, but he had now been blacklisted by Best Actor Fu.

Fu Sichen walked out of the office, carrying a dejected Pei Zhen.

Fu Sichen's visit had caused quite a stir throughout the agency. A crowd had gathered outside Xiao Nian's office to wait for Fu Sichen to appear. The female fans shrieked as soon as they saw him.

After squealing about his good looks, they started to scream about the cat in his arms. They were exclaiming about how cute the cat was, and started asking if they could touch him. "Is that Best Actor Fu's cat?!"

"Gorgeous owner, gorgeous cat!"

"They look so good together! Death by cuteness!"

Pei Zhen really didn't understand what young girls were thinking. Pei Zhen felt humiliated being observed by so many people. He wished that he could just crawl into a dark hole somewhere.

Fortunately, Xiao Nian had recovered enough to come out of the office. He was able to do some crowd control so that Fu Sichen and the cat could safely leave the agency.

Fu Sichen's mind was on the Pei Zhen that was still lying in the hospital. He got into the car with cat in tow, and drove away. He didn't even notice that there were paparazzi lurking around the office building.

"Was that really Best Actor Fu?"

"Hehe, yes. I told you that that was his car. I would never make a mistake about something like this."

"So, why do you think he came to a competing agency? To try and promote friends.h.i.+p?"

"Who knows? But no matter what the reason is, this news is juicy."
