Best Actor Fu's cat was amazing.

He didn't like eating cat food, so he only ate human food.

He didn't like being naked, so he wanted to wear clothes.

He wasn't afraid of dogs, but he was terrified at the mere sight of a rat!

Fu Sichen just couldn't quite understand his cat. He wondered if other people's cats were also like this.

"I've thrown the toy away."

"Really, everything's okay now. You can come out now."

"I've threw it in the garbage outside; the door is shut, so it can't get inside."

At this point, Fu Sichen was standing at the doorway trying to pacify his cat. He was trying to convince the cat in all earnestness that he had already thrown away the toy rat.

The Persian cat didn't seem to believe him. He sat on his bed thinking for a long time before reluctantly jumping off.

It wasn't his fault!

Pei Zhen felt terribly offended and wronged, and started to give himself all sorts of excuses. The manufacturer was really perverse. Why did they have to make a cat toy look so real?! It looked just like a real rat!

Pei Zhen lived in a village for a short time during his childhood. At that time, the living conditions in the village weren't that great. When night fell, rats would come out in droves and his room would be infested with them. The sound of their squeaking drove him nuts.

It was because of this that Pei Zhen was psychologically traumatized by them even until now.

The Persian cat was cautious and alert. In some strange and inexplicable way, Fu Sichen felt that this cat was very like Pei Zhen.

This was crazy.

Fu Sichen shook his head, trying to suppress these thoughts. He had initially intended to scare the cat one more time, but his conscience got the better of him; he quickly stuffed the "rat" into the bag.

Nevermind, he'd throw it out tomorrow.

Fu Sichen went back to his usual routine of turning on the TV for the cat before heading into the bathroom for a shower. When he came out, he noticed that the cat's eyes were wet from watching the show starring Pei Zhen.

When he was still a human, Pei Zhen would never watch his own shows.

But after turning into a cat, he would inevitably get emotional after watching himself on the screen. He would think to himself, "My G.o.d, I really am such a great actor!"

How could he be such a great actor and still not win the Best Actor Award? He was convinced that it must have been that *sshole Fu Sichen's evil manipulation!

Pei Zhen had taken the opportunity to send Xiao Nian a text while Fu Sichen was taking a shower. It was an emotional and heartfelt message asking Xiao Nian to hurry up with finding a shaman!

When Fu Sichen walked out of the bathroom, Pei Zhen just happened to be facing him.

It was still summertime, so Best Actor Fu came out with only a thin towel wrapped around his waist. His fringe hung over his face, making him look more approachable and warm. Beads of water rolled along the length of his hair and acc.u.mulated and swelled at the ends of his hair before falling silently. They continued their winding journey along his chin, to his bare chest, along his abs, and made their way down even further…

Pei Zhen quickly turned his head to the side.

Staring at his enemy's body went against all of his principles!

Of course, Fu Sichen had no idea what his cat was thinking. He was only too glad to see that the cat was concentrating on the TV show.

"At the very least, your Daddy didn't save you in vain."

Fu Sichen carelessly dried his hair with a towel and sat on the sofa. He didn't even notice how shocked the Persian cat looked when he made that remark.

Fu Sichen would watch all of the shows that Pei Zhen starred in.

It didn't matter what role Pei Zhen was playing— whether the lead or a cameo. One of his favorite things to do was drawing the curtains closed, dimming the lights, and allowing the image of the person he loved to be imprinted on his heart and soul whenever he had time to himself.

The only difference today was that the Persian cat was with him as he thought about Pei Zhen.

Only… Best Actor Fu would have never, even in his wildest imaginations, thought that the person that he fancied had turned into a cat. To top that off, that the person he loved now firmly believed that he had a fetish for dead bodies…
