                —A girl was running.

                In the middle of a dense forest, wearing an out of place dress, a girl ran as fast as she could. Constantly caught in branches and roots, the girl could barely hide herself within the torn dress, with her thighs exposed.

                Even her originally bluish, gray hair became sticky from sweat and dirt.

                However, the girl didn't pay that any attention, for the sake of escaping her pursuers.

                She could hear her pursuers' voices, closer than she expected.

                The girl hurried and jumped into a nearby gra.s.sy plain, where she steadied her heavy breathing, in order to hide.

                「She can't have gotten too far yet! Search every nook and cranny! Just don't harm her! 」

                「Understood!」

                The pursuers' voices began to fade away. The girl began to run off in the opposite direction.

                After running for a while, she came across a large river. With the stress and fatigue from being chased, along with dehydration, the girl decided to take a small rest.

                The girl scooped up some river water and brought it to her mouth. Whether she didn't want to ruin her stomach or was worried, because of the transparency, she was nearing her limit.

                With both hands, she continued to drink the water.

                The girl began to relax by the riverside after the number of scoops exceeded 10.

                But she couldn't stay carefree for long. She had to run away before the pursuers came.

                With that thought, the girl forced her aching body to stand.

                「There she is!」

                They found her!
