The beast seems to be reluctant to show itself first. But with Mayan's persuasion, the beast finally relented.

The beast walks out of the shadow shyly and when the moonlight s.h.i.+nes on it, its true appearance was revealed. It has a white s.h.a.ggy fur and a lean muscular body like an ape.

But when it walks, it looks like a normal man, it was walking with a straight posture and not slumped as how a usual ape walks.

It walks closer to Mu Lingxi, not too fast, but not too slow either.

The more the beast came closer, the more Mu Lingxi's knees are weakening. She was standing stiff on the spot and she was too petrified to even move her finger.

But to her surprise, the bulky beast bowed its furry head when it reached her front.

Mu Lingxi doesn't know exactly what was happening. She stood there stiff as a stone. Not daring to move even a bit for fear of drawing the attention of the beast.
