SORCERESS 101 199 Simulation

Hae Soo was in the middle of tying a square knot in the bandage when all of a sudden, Mu Lingxi felt that the sight before her blurred for a moment.

Then before she knew it she found herself lying inside a vast room.

The room was circular in shape, reminiscent of a dome arena. Its walls had seals that could isolate sounds and the room was full of beds.

The white beds were placed side by side to each other. Just like how the beds in a hospital ward were arranged.

It looks like she had been teleported again to another place out of the blue.

"Congratulations! The seven days time limit for the semi-annual student a.s.sessment has now come to its end. You can now get your rewards. The winner of this compet.i.tion will be announced shortly."

Schoolmaster Yin's voice echoed inside the room. His voice was not particularly loud, but it resounded clearly in everyone's ear.

It felt like even if one were to cover one's ear, the voice would still resonate within one's mind, preventing one from shutting it off altogether.

Mu Lingxi sat and she realized that she was wearing the same clothes that she was wearing before entering the battle arena.

The only difference is that it was not tattered nor dirtied in the least. She also realized that the deep gorging wound across her chest was gone without a trace.

Looking around her, she saw her other teammates as well as a couple of other unfamiliar faces wearing the same uniform as theirs.

Just like her, the students were just starting to wake up from each of their own bed. They too had the same confused expression written on their faces.

"What happened? I have no recollection of going in here! I was clearly on the arena just a while ago."

Chan Gu asked in bewilderment.

All of the other students present at that time had that same question running on their minds.

"The silver elixir that you drank before entering the arena has the ability to produce an effect of having you think that you experience entering a specific scenario which I prepared beforehand. I personally concocted that silver elixir for this specific purpose."

Schoolmaster Yin's voice sounded once again out of nowhere inside the hospital ward-like place. He carefully explained what really happened during the compet.i.tion.

According to Schoolmaster Yin's explanation, it was like the students were put under the effect of the silver elixir that he concocted.

After drinking the silver elixir, the students entered some sort of simulation to perform the survival quest.

Meaning, everything that they had experienced inside the arena within the span of days was nothing but a fake. All of it was just happening inside their heads.

"Hmm.. so everything that transpires was just a result of simulation of some sorts."

Mu Lingxi nodded her head and muttered to herself under her breath as realization dawn on her.

"But if it was like a simulation and everything was just happening inside our heads, how did we managed to team up with our group mates and met the other student compet.i.tors??? Also, the matter about me having the chest of a man. How did that happen?!"

Mu Lingxi suddenly thought to herself.

Somehow, she could still understand the point about the simulation. What left her deeply perplexed is the matter concerning the sudden change in her body.

If it was just happening inside her mind, then why is it that she perceived her own body differently?

"MEOW"

[I think your consciousness entered an avatar or something after drinking the elixir. I was trying to reach out to you but I was not able to contact you.]

Since Mu Lingxi was thinking by herself, Ja.n.u.s could easily hear what was on her mind and he gave her the most probable answer.

"Oh? Is that so? Well, you got a point there. That could explain why I recall seeing myself having a well-defined six-pack ab and overly flat chest. It is not that my face altering mask got an upgrade, but I was just merely using an avatar back then. Hmmm... Now I know."

Mu Lingxi stroked her chin as she managed to uncover another information about this semi-annual student a.s.sessment.

"MEOW"

[Little la.s.s, just to remind you. It is indeed a fact that you are a poor girl blessed with below-average breast size, to begin with...]

"Hey! That's not true! It is just that my body was still under development!"

[Well,  I think it is much more accurate to say that your body stops developing before it could even reach the stage of adolescence. But don't let yourself be discouraged about it. You, being a flat-chested at least works on your advantage. So far, no one until now suspects you from being a girl. Since it was hard to distinguish your lanky body apart from the appearance of a normal young man.]

It was hard to infer whether Ja.n.u.s was saying those words at Mu Lingxi to console her or to tease her.

Knowing that her cat's expertise and favorite hobby was to make fun of her, Mu Lingxi stops arguing with Ja.n.u.s. This is to avoid herself getting p.i.s.sed off by her cat's teasing.

Mu Lingxi observed the students who were staying in the same room as her. Aside from her groupmates, there were a handful of other students as well.

Even the fairy-like school belles that they encountered back there were resting in that same room.

Also, her ever so annoying cousin, Mu Yanxiao was there too and she was currently talking to the young lady who happens to come in Mu Lingxi's aid during the quest.

It is no other than, Hae Soo. Apparently, she also belongs to the group of school belles and she just gets separated from them.

It could be that those group of sorceresses was in the middle of searching for Hae Soo when Mu Lingxi's group ambushed them.

Also, from the current looks of it, it seems that all of the other students who managed to survived until the last day of the survival quest were teleported and were currently taking their rest inside that same room.

Meaning, the winners will be seed out from one of them.

When the result of the semi-annual student a.s.sessment was finally out, Schoolmaster Yin informed them right away.

Since Mu Lingxi and her team managed to survive until the last day without getting anyone of them from being eliminated, they were proclaimed as the winner.

Chan Gu was the one who registered the team in the compet.i.tion so the wish liquid was bestowed under his name.

After the victor of the semi-annual student compet.i.tion was announced, Chan Gu received the reward.

The student warlocks and sorceresses who partic.i.p.ated in the said compet.i.tion also cheered Mu Lingxi's group upon learning about their victory.

After that, the other remaining student compet.i.tors who managed to survive until the last day of compet.i.tion also received their respective rewards for completing the quest.
