"Aye, Long Yue! There you are??? So how was your meeting with Teacher Shen?"

Mu Lingxi greeted Long Yue as soon as the other party step inside the room. Long Yue was back to his carefree self as soon as he went back to their dorm.

From the current looks of it, others will think that he was someone who won't be affected in the least, by this kind of trivial thing.

"Well, as expected she gave me an earful.."

Long Yue shrugged his shoulder as he said that. It was as if being scolded did not bother him at all and being sent in detention is far beyond his concern.

"Of course, you cannot expect Teacher Shen to be delighted and congratulate you after what you have done back there."

Fan Lei b.u.t.ted in. He too finds the situation a little bit reckless of Long Yue.

If not because of his negligence, they should have been given a higher chance of success rate in concocting the Elixir of Wolfs Bane with ease.

But he knew that it was not Long Yue's intention to cause that much trouble in the first place. So he refrains himself from saying much. Lest he ends up hurting his friend's feelings in the process of doing so.

Ja.n.u.s chirped in as he gave his master a side glance. Upon hearing his cat's observation, Mu Lingxi's face twitched as she glared to Ja.n.u.s' direction.

"Stop spouting nonsense silly cat."

"By the way, has anyone of you know where Chan Gu was?"

Long Fuzi asked all of a sudden when he noticed that someone was missing in their squad.

"He went back to our room earlier than any of us here but he also left in a hurry as soon as we arrived. From what I can see I think that he might be on his way meeting someone"

Yun Xue answered Long Fuzi's question. He also recently finds that Chan Gu was acting a little bit weird especially this morning.

Their friend, Chan Gu was usually a jolly and an all-smile person. In fact, if one could think of something very unique about Chan Gu's personality is that he was a man with a dog smile face.

But today, there seems to be something different on his smile. It was like he was excited about something. For what reason it was, they have no idea.

"I did not meet him on my way here, though."

"Just let him be. Let us mind our own business. We still have something to accomplish. Has anyone of you done in concocting the Elixir of Wolfs Bane?"

Long Yue asked to change the topic. His friends headed back to their room earlier than he was.

Initially, he was expecting to see his friends in the middle of elixir making but when he arrived they were all sitting on their bed doing nothing in particular.

"I am done with mine. I can help you later if you want..."

Mu Lingxi offered her help as easy as that. Sharing the same room with these guys for quite some time now, Mu Lingxi was already well aware of each of her friend's shortcomings.

For Long Yue, she knew well enough how hard he was struggling in Elixir Making so she sees to it that she was always available to lend help to this friend of hers whenever needed.

Besides, it was not like she was doing it for nothing. The Long Brothers had already given her an ample amount of magic stones before.

Until now, she still finds the payment a bit high so she was trying her best to work for it.

On the other hand, seeing as how Su Yan was offering his help on his own will, Long Yue was delighted.

He can't help but recall how Su Yan comes to his rescue and save his life when he was being attacked by the harpies before.

It was at that time, that he swears to himself that he will make sure to make friends with the other party, and it proves that his decision back then is right.

Having a friend as caring and thoughtful as Su Yan was, is a huge blessing itself.

A friend in need is a friend indeed. A person who helps at a difficult time is a truly reliable person.

"Maybe it was for his reason, that I could feel a sense of familiarity when I first met Su Yan in the s.h.i.+p on our voyage to Magus Academia"

Long Yue thought to himself.

"Hey, that was unfair. Why are you only helping Long Yue?"

Long Fuzi said in a false disheartened expression.

"That's right, you should not discriminate over friends. Count us in as well."

Yun Xue seconded. Meanwhile, the thought of sharing a group lesson with his friends makes Fan Lei excited.

"That's great then! We can have our own group study!"

For a study freak and a learning enthusiast such as Fa Lei, there is nothing more enthralling than having a bunch of study buddies as a friend.

Since Chan Gu was not around, Mu Lingxi and her friends proceeded in concocting each of their own love liqueur without him.

After preparing everything they needed for the concoction of the Elixir of Wolfs Bane, the group started the concoction process.

Mu Lingxi watched in the side while her friends went on the procedure listed in their Elixir Making book, one step at a time.

From time to time, she will point out where her friends have erred in the concoction process. Somehow, Mu Lingxi was starting to develop a certain inclination to Elixir Making.

It was like Elixir Making is a perfect cut for her. The way she handles the mystical plants and other ingredients as well as the way she explains each of the concocting processes was so natural.

She was like an agile b.u.t.terfly hovering over a garden of flowers when she was concocting Elixir. The knowledge about Elixir Making was already etched deep inside her.

It makes her feels like teaching the way of Elixir making was a skill that was naturally running on her blood, like it was where her life calls for her.

The sun was already setting down on the set when the last love liqueur was concocted. The group was exhausted, but there was an excited gleam in their eyes as they eyed the flask of love liqueur in their hand.

Mu Lingxi and her friends were already done making their own elixir but Chan Gu was still nowhere in sight.

Just where had he been???

Little did they know that Chan Gu was just doing fine on his own. He was also using his time wisely. Just like them, he was also busy making his love liqueur all day.

Apparently he went out to meet with Hae Soo in the Pixie Yard. She agreed to become Chan Gu's guide in Elixir making for that specific day. 

So aside from getting the desire of his heart, Chan Gu also got himself a personal tutor. Hitting two birds with one stone.
