SORCERESS 101 209 Teacher Wei's Quirk

Since the night was already getting late, Mu Lingxi and her friends decided that it would be best for them to let the matter at rest for the meantime.

They went on their own respective beds and sleep. They still had to attend the cla.s.s tomorrow morning.

The night drifted fast until the sun chased away the moon again. Yun Xue who was in the middle of sleeping soundly was woken up when all of a sudden he started feeling something heavy pressing in his chest.

When he opened his eyes to see what could have possibly caused him to feel that way, Yun Xue was greeted by those two beautiful baby blue eyes. The fluffy white snow dragon was staring straight back to him!

It was like, the tiny creature was observing him while he was deep asleep!

'The creep!'

Imagine being watched over by someone as you sleep?!!! That was so unhinging, to say the least!

Words were caught at the back of his throat as Yun Xue fail to communicate to the snow dragon sitting on his chest.

"Don't you know how annoying you are when you sleep?!!! I thought  I was woken up by an earthquake. Only to find out that the bed was just swaying because of you! Seriously???! Where do you think you are??? In a ballroom???! You looked as if you are dancing on your dream! Why do you have to be so frolicsome even when asleep?!! WHY???!!!"

Since Mu Lingxi and Yu Xue shared the same double deck bed, the baby snow dragon can certainly feel the bed moving every time the occupant of the lower deck is moving around his sleep.

"HUH????"

Yun Xue's face turned scarlet after hearing Guinevere's evaluation of his sleeping pattern. But Guinevere is not yet done as she continued to berate Yun Xue as if a mother scolding her son early in the morning.

"And to h.e.l.l with you! Why do you have to be so loud when you snore???! You sound worse than a blaring horn of a s.h.i.+p!!!! Darn it!"

Smoke was almost puffing out of Guinevere's nose when she said those words. It was clear for all eyes to see that she was truly frustrated about the matter.

Well, it is not that anyone could blame her for feeling that way though. Just come to think of it. Imagine yourself having your own beauty sleep

You were sleeping soundly when out of the blue, the bed where you were sleeping started to rock back and forth as if there was an earthquake!!!

To make things worse, there was also this annoying snoring sound. It was like sleeping in the same room with a pig!

"Hey! That's not true! For your information, I don't snore! I sleep like a gentleman. I am refined and poised even when asleep..."

Anxious, Yun Xue turned to Fan Lei and the others in hope of finding some support from them. Only to see his friends trying to avert their gaze.

Am I that vulgar when I sleep?

So far, Mu Lingxi and her friends were already used to Yun Xue's sleeping pattern. They got too used to it that they were no longer bothered about it anymore.

Besides, they don't wish to put some beef between them and Yun Xue. So they never bring it up and just let the matter past until it becomes part of the norm.

Knowing Yun Xue's prideful personality, they know well enough that it will certainly hurt his pride if they will confront him about it. So rather than hurting their relations.h.i.+p, it is much better to just find a way to come in terms with their friend's sleeping habits.

"Guinevere. That's enough... Yun Xue, let me apologize instead for what she said. The old hermit most probably dotted this little beast a lot resulting her to be spoiled like this."

Sitting on his bed with a completely dazed look, reminiscent of a lifeless zombie, Yun Xue's eyes were staring blankly at the floor, as if someone had stolen his soul.

From the current looks of it, the words that Guinevere said deeply traumatized him. He nodded his head absentmindedly to let his friend know that he was able to hear him.

Yun Xue was still in shock to even utter a single word. He followed the snow dragon with his gaze as his friend, Su Yan took it away from his chest.

On the other hand, the baby snow dragon, named Guinevere was still looking at him hauntingly as she was being carried away. Her eyes were shooting daggers towards Yun Xue.

After that small morning incident, the group started preparing themselves before attending the cla.s.s as usual.

Today, they will be meeting Teacher Wei for their Mystozoology cla.s.s.  As expected, the room was already full of excited lovesick sorceresses when Mu Lingxi and her friends arrived.

Teacher Wei was so famous among the student sorceresses. Many of them were fantasizing about having him as their knight in s.h.i.+ning armor.

Their romantic dream revolves around him, it was all about him.

After all, Teacher Wei does not look far from a typical prince charming. With his ever so youthful and das.h.i.+ng appearance, he can definitely steal a heart in no time if he tries to.

Being stared by those emerald green eyes of his can easily send a whole bunch of student sorceresses into a frenzy. Even his casual grin can take one's breath away.

"Good morning cla.s.s, Are you ready to meet our next mythical creature in the list???"

"Ayeeee!!!!"

The cla.s.s cheered merrily as they answered back. Mostly dominated by the infatuated student sorceresses.

In a blink of an eye, the cla.s.srooms seem to turn into a small room reserved for a meet and greet convention designed for Teacher Wei's fan's club.

Usually, during Mystozoology cla.s.s, Teacher Wei would take everyone away to another location- and today is not an exemption either.

Just like before, Teacher Wei took them somewhere in hopes of giving his students a firsthand experience regarding beast handling.

They walked pa.s.sed through several corridors before they arrived in an enclosed room. The room seems to have something that looks like a cellar. There was an open s.p.a.ce on the floor and it has stairs heading downwards.

Mu Lingxi feels like she was descending in a bas.e.m.e.nt as they walked further down. Right now, the cla.s.s was walking into a dungeon-like place.

Its floor was damp and kinda slippery. While its walls reak of the smell of molds. The musty smell of the place sits on their nose as the unpleasant smell due to the poor ventilation permeated in the air.

After walking for around seventy to eighty meters, the cla.s.s finally reached the bottom of the stairs. Raising their gaze, Mu Lingxi and the rest of the cla.s.s could not help but be taken aback by what they saw.

It was a vast underground chamber!

Celestial pearls littered the floor giving the place a bright glow. The vast chamber looks empty because there is nothing inside of it aside from the huge tree standing on its center.

The towering tree, has an immense tree trunk, almost the size of the girth of twenty people combined. Its branches were sticking in an odd angle and there were figs all over its body.

The first question that left the whole cla.s.s perplexed as soon as they arrived at the vast underground chamber and saw the huge tree is that, how did the tree manage to survive????

Obviously, there is neither no sunlight entering the place nor good ventilation. Which are the essentials in growing a plant. Without it, the plant will surely die. But the huge tree before them has no sign of life deprivation at all.

If any, it even looks healthy and vigorous. It has lush and large green leaves that look leathery and glossy. Mostly elliptical in shape. There were also small neon-colored fruits that come in different colors hanging on its branches.

"Cla.s.s, this tree over here is called Banian Tree. This tree is the common resting place for our next mythical creature which I will be introducing to you, later on.

As you can see, there were leaves that have an attractive reddish tinge among its lush green leaves. Those are the young leaves of Banian Trees. Just to give you a heads up, the banian leaves abscise as soon as it matures, allowing the new young leaves to sprout in the process.

Now, enough about Banian Trees. Let us not talk about it anymore, or else I will be robbing Teacher Zhuo's lesson in Phytomysticology... HEHEHE

As I've told you before, this Banian Tree serves as the resting area for our next mythical creature. Do you see those colorful things hanging over there????"

As he said that, Teacher Wei nodded his head towards the direction of the tree where the neon-colored fruits were hanging...

"h.e.l.lo there sweet lad and la.s.s, come and greet my cla.s.s."

Teacher Wei said to no one in particular.

The students stared at each other and they saw the same confused expression reflecting on their faces. They took another look at their Mystozoology teacher, this time with doubt in their eyes.

Last time, they saw him tossing around a bunch of Bubble Fruits in an empty s.p.a.ce. But that is not exactly an empty s.p.a.ce, it is just that he was feeding the invisible Alicorns.

But this action of his almost leads the entire cla.s.s to initially took him as a lunatic.

Now, he was even starting to talk in the empty air. Is this some sort of odd quirks that a genius tends to have?

Thinking back about it, that could also be possible. Most of the renowned geniuses, as well as powerful experts, had rather bizarre quirks on their own.

Maybe this was Teacher Wei's own signature quirk.
