SORCERESS 101 305 The Sick Frat Ritual

Aiden wanted to say no. He wanted to lie and tell Clark that he had other plans, but for some stupid reason, he did not.

Instead, he goes to the party with Clark and his other workmates

Looking back now, if he only said 'NO' then he might have lived his life as ordinary as how it always was.

But that was not his fate.

His fate that night is death.

On the night of his death, Aiden arrived at Clark's apartment with a boring plain white s.h.i.+rt and a hand me down faded jeans.

When Clark opened the door for him, he was wearing a baby blue 3/4th sleeve polo s.h.i.+rt and black slacks that are a little tight-fitting on the lower part.

As soon as Clark saw what Aiden was wearing, his faced grimace and asked him with an exasperated expression.

"What the h.e.l.l are you wearing Aiden?? Where is your outfit???

"I don't have an outfit."

Aiden replied as if it is a matter of fact.

Yes, of course, it is.

"It is a party we are going to, Aiden. You need an outfit!!

He snapped before ma.s.saging his glabella.

"I guess we will have to improvise."

Clark pulled Aiden inside his apartment and began rummaging through his closet.

"I have a couple of clothes here that might fit you"

The inside of his closet was practically bulging out with different formal men's wear. That is all good for OOTD  and 'instagramable' outfits.

Most likely, those are what he used to wear during his dates to impress girls.

Is that where he spends all of his salaries????

"Here"

Clark said as he handed Aiden a black tuxedo

"Put this on and we will combine it with a bow tie to complete you perfect 'groom' looks."

"Do I really have to wear this??? And a bow tie you say??? You even have that one???!"

"Yeah, I have one leftover from last year when I used to attend a debut and have to dance as one of the eighteen roses"

Aiden took the black tuxedo from Clark and went to his bathroom.

Two minutes later he wandered out dressed up like a groom

The bow tie sticks on his neck uncomfortably making him feel like something was choking him.

Clark helps him gel his hair and fix his hairstyle then he eyes him up and down with approval.

"Woah, dude! You look hot! In fact, you look really hot. I'm such a legend for transforming you!"

Aiden was not too sure how to react, but once again he was compelled to remain his silence and not to argue

Aiden and Clark left his apartment and headed to the fraternity house party.

Along the way, they run into their other workmates who were all amazed by Aiden's transformation from a 'Nerdy Boy' to a 'Handsome Groom'.

One of them even run up to Aiden's direction and gushed out in delight

"Clark, you are such a legend! I can't believe you really got him into that suit. Boss Jay will surely like it."

"Shut up Mark!!!"

Clark snapped back, becoming weird and defensive.

"Wait. Who is Boss Jay??"

Aiden asked suspiciously but Clark just shrugged his shoulder and answered

"No one---Absolutely no one."

Before Aiden could ask for more questions, Clark already draped his arm over Aiden's shoulder and began talking about what happened on their work that day.

Aiden can definitely sense that Clark was purposely trying to change the topic but he did not understand why.

There was a tiny voice in the back of his head screaming at him and was trying to warn him that something was terribly wrong but Aiden did not listen.

Instead, Aiden let Clark take him to the fraternity house.

When they got to the fraternity house, it was pretty much what he expected.

There were a lot of toilet papers scattered in the area. What a mess!

There is also shaving foam and underage drinking.

Heavy dance music also blared out of the house and Aiden could see people dancing inside as the colorful lights go on and off.

There were also a few people that he recognized from their neighborhood, but everyone else was a stranger.

Aiden and his workmates walked as a group into the fraternity house where they were greeted by one of the fraternity initiates.

The other party broke out into a wide smile when he saw Aiden and Clark together.

"Boss Jay has everything ready."

Boss Jay again...

Just who exactly he is??

"Look Aiden, whatever happens, I want you to know that it was never personal"

Clark said as he raised both of his hands in the air as if he was trying to say that he meant him no harm and he was out of it.

"What???"

Aiden asked in confusion.

But before he could process what exactly was happening, he suddenly felt hands on him dragging him backward out of the house!

Several frat boys had ambushed him from behind and were now pulling him out of the fraternity house onto the lawn

Outside in the lawn, a large group of people had begun to gather holding their red cups of alcohol

"Behold!!!!"

A voiced boomed!

"Our virgin offering to the Queen of Darkness!!!"

"What the heck??!!"

Aiden blurted out as soon as he understood what was happening.

His eyes went on big circles as he panicked and tried to pull away from his restrictions.

The people around him were clapping and cheering, including Clark and his other workmates.

"I can't believe I had been set up! Darn it!!!!"

Aiden gnashed his teeth as he thought how dumb he was to agree to come with them in the first place.

He should have been busy typing right now grinding chapters for his next updates.

His readers must have been cursing him at the top of their lungs for being on hiatus for quite some time now.

But here he was, getting himself involved in some sick frat ritual

There was this darn urban legend that the frat boys used to carry out every year to appease the make-believe 'Queen of Darkness'.

Each year, the fraternity will dupe some nerd into dressing up like a groom and force him to stand under a Hanging Man's tree in the town graveyard.

Nothing ever happened to the poor victims of this fraternity ritual before. They will just usually stand under the tree until midnight then walked home, safe and sound.
