I would be a lie of Schoolmaster Yin would claim that he did not get excited upon hearing about a talking beast

For a millisecond of difference, the schoolmaster felt slight antic.i.p.ation deep inside him as he waited for Luna to speak.

Only to found out that it was nothing but a figment of the imagination of a young warlock.

Long Yue said more to himself as his shoulders slumped and her eyes started to get filled with disappointment.

He expected as much as that to happen.

That was why he no longer consulted his friends about it in the first place and went straight to Schoolmaster Yin.

He reckoned that with Schoolmaster Yin's extensive knowledge as well as higher attainment in the realm in magic, then he would be the best candidate to test out if there was someone aside from him who could also hear Luna speak.

If it happened that even Schoolmaster Yin himself could not hear Luna speak, then what more to his other friends?

Schoolmaster Yin seconded, trying hard to inject some enthusiasm in his voice to hide his disappointment.

To be honest, he too was intrigued when he heard the other party said that his beast was capable of speech.

But it seemed that he just get excited over nothing.

Schoolmaster Yin cleared his throat when he saw that the young warlock before him seemed to be on the verge of his mental breakdown.

Asked Luna perplexed.

Long Yue tried to a.n.a.lyze his situation, but the more he came up for the possible reasons, the more confused he got.

Of course, Long Yue could not rule out the possibility that the voice that he was hearing inside his head was a trick made by someone else.

As much as he wanted to believe that it was all just happening inside his head and him hearing Luna talking to him was just part of his imagination, he knew that it was not.

Especially so since the voice inside his head sounded reasonable whenever it was claiming that she was a real deal.

As such, Long Yue finally decided to talk at the voice claiming to be Luna

This was actually his first time talking to the voice directly ever since he started hearing it inside his head.

[Well, I know for certain that you got a birthmark on your b.u.t.t cheeks and a dimple on top of that!!!]

Said Luna without any bit of a shame when she mentioned her master's most coverted secret.

This was the best way that she could think of that could make her master, Long Yue, believed her without a fail.

Long Yue blurted out as his cheeks started to take the shade of red.

Schoolmaster Yin who was silently watching the young warlock as it fell into a daze a moment ago was startled when the other party suddenly rose to his feet and exclaimed for no reason.

He had no idea what was happening in Long Yue's mind that time, but one thing that he was certain about was that the young warlock before him has gone nuts!

So with an earnest expression in his face, Schoolmaster Yin approached the young warlock and talked to him softly.

Long Yue said as he held his head with both hands while crossing the distance between Schoolmaster Yin's office and the portrait of the lady at the entrance.

He picked up his pace and run in full speed focusing his thoughts into nothing but running.

He badly wanted to cry due to embarra.s.sment but he soon found out that he had no tears to shed.
