Mai spun around the room as she was startled back into consciousness.

Han Bing also gave a little shake as he realized that they were no longer alone.

"Unfortunately, I have to go back to work" Han Bing said to Mai.

Han Bing gracefully left to the room with long strides. Mai watched him depart until she could no longer see him.

"What happened" Zhi Yan asked

Cough "nothing" Mai tried to mumble.

Thinking that her mistress didn't want to talk about the subject she let it drop.

"The chicken breast was amazing mistress" Zhi Yan said while licking her lips back and forth imagining that there was another piece in front of her.

Mai giggled as she replied with "thanks, but you also made it too in the future feel fry to make it whenever you want. I think that I am tired and I'm going to take a nap" Mai wasn't tired in the least bit but needed time to sort out her feelings for Han Bing.

"Okay " Zhi Yan said in a disappointed voice.

Once Mai was back in the safety of her own room she let her thought run wild. "Why is Han Bing making this so difficult for me! Does he know that I want to escape so instead he's trying to win my heart? He even brought me flowers no one besides my mom has gotten my flowers."

Mai couldn't make up her mind if letting Han Bing court her was a good idea or not. She didn't even know if he had a wife since it was common in this time period to have more than one. "I refuse to be anyone's extra on the side" Mai thought.

She laid down on the bed with all different sort of thoughts filling her mind some were good and some were bad. She couldn't however stop the acceleration of her beating heart.

Mai's face reddened as she remembered the kiss that they had shared together. How exciting it had been to be in such an embrace. How she had even moaned a little at the end. Han Bing practically sprinted out of the courtyard once he was no longer in view of Mai.

Closing his eyes, he pictured them in the future together living a different type of life. Instead of this giant manor is was a small house that was in the countryside. There was love and devotion in his wife's eyes as she stared at him.

"Zheng Li" Han Bing called out.

Not to long later Zheng Li came into the room with a questioning gaze. "Yes, young master?" he asked

"How long will it take that project to be completely?" Han Bing asked.

"At least a month if we don't want anyone to notice anything" Zheng Li answered.

"Oaky, we only have to keep her safe until then" Han Bing whispered under his breath.

Zheng Li noticing Han Bings weird mood asked "did anything happen with Mai?"

"I was stupid and kissed her" Han Bing let out.

Zheng Li stared at his young master as if another person had taken over his place.

One of the nameless guards that had been in the manor also followed his nose to find where the smell of food was coming from. He hid in some of the bushes in the courtyard to see who had create it.

He saw Han Bing bounced out of the room followed by two young ladies with one of them being the chef. The guard ruled out the servant as she had been talking to herself about how good the food had just been, leaving the other lady.

Once the lady went into one of the other rooms and the servant went away the guard made his move.
