Dragon's Heart 4 Chapter 4: The Boy That Wields Dragonic Darkness

Takeo then went off to a empty pasture and began training. "Alright, let's see I'm a dragon so I obviously can shoot fire from my mouth, " he thought to himself, "well, let's give a go." He inhaled and exhaled. A tiny ball of fire shot out of his mouth. "Come on," Takeo said, "One more time." He continued to try it again and again, blowing bigger and bigger fireb.a.l.l.s. Finally, he was able to shoot a ma.s.sive firestorm from his mouth. "Awesome, but I wanna give it a name like the characters in those action animes, " Takeo said, "but what should it be?" He thought long and hard about it. "I want to incorporate 'Blazing Dragon' into the names of my cool moves, so... how about Blazing Dragon Roar...Naaa". He continued to come up with more names but didn't like them. " ...Blazing Dragon Blasting Roar, " he said, "it feels natural, weird but it works". He continued to train and come up with many moves. He did a slas.h.i.+ng move with his fingernails, forming the fiery claws of a dragon. "Whoa, I didn't know I could do that" ,Takeo said astonished, "but awesome". He called Blazing Dragon Demolition Claw. He kicked and formed fiery dragon's talon, which was named Blazing Dragon Talon. He punched forward and formed fire around it. It was called Blazing Dragon Fang. He also made Blazing Dragon Impact Burst, a move that sends a explosive burst of fire out from his hand.

When the sun started to set, Takeo had finally got used to his powers and was heading home. "It's weird, I feel like I've done those type of attacks before but I know I haven't, " He said as he got ready to leave. As he was leaving, Takeo said, "anyways, I finally got used to it now to get ready for-." But then he sensed an attack coming from behind. He jumped and evaded the attack. When the smoke from the attack cleared, Takeo saw the attacker. It was a boy, about Takeo's age, wearing a red trench coat. The coat had fur on the collar, at the ends of his sleeve, and at the bottom of the coat. "So, you found out about your dragon powers, too, " said the mysterious boy. Takeo noticed the immense dark power the boy was emitting. "Just who the h.e.l.l are you, " Takeo said to the boy. The boy smirked and said, "My name is s.h.i.+n.o.bu Valentin." He then said, "I know about you, Prince. "

Takeo replied with, "awww, I'm already famous". "This power, similar to mine, that means..." s.h.i.+n.o.bu chuckled and said, "let's see what got, Prince!" He then lunged at Takeo and shouted, "Void Dragon: Demolition Claw!!" It the same as Takeo's Demolition Claw but is of darkness instead of Fire. Takeo retaliated with his Blazing Dragon Demolition Claw. Both the Demolition Claws collided for a while. But, s.h.i.+n.o.bu's attack dispersed Takeo's. "c.r.a.p", Takeo said as he tried to block the attack and as he did, he thought, "What the?! Why is his so much stronger than mine?" Eventually, He couldn't hold it back anymore and it hit him. It pierced into his body. Blood shot out as Takeo was pushed back to a tree. Finally, the attack dispersed and s.h.i.+n.o.bu said, "this is the Prince of the Dragonkin's power? Pathetic." Takeo fell to the ground, with bleeding profusely from his side. s.h.i.+n.o.bu said, "you're fighting with powers you don't fully know yet." "What do you mean?" said Takeo shakingly. s.h.i.+n.o.bu looked at him with dark glare. He turned back around said, "go ask your mother, she knows the truth." "But, I will tell you this, you are not a pureblood Draco-Valorian". Then s.h.i.+n.o.bu started to walk away. But before he left, Takeo sat up and said, "you're a Draco-Valorian too, aren't you?" s.h.i.+n.o.bu stopped and showed his wings. "What do you think?" s.h.i.+n.o.bu said sarcastically. He vanished into the darkness. Takeo, after watching him vanished, then collapsed and pa.s.sed out.

Two weeks pa.s.sed and when he woke up, his mother was beside his bed. "Finally, you're wake sweetie, " she said. Takeo said, "Uh, how'd I get here?" "Your friends Akihiro and Jessica found you and brought you here, " his mom said. He tried to sit up but she stopped him and said, "No sweetie, you need to lay down and heal". Takeo looked confused and said, "what do you mean, I'm fine now." "Oh..." she said, "I guess the dragon healing is faster than I thought." She then got up and started to walk out his room when Takeo asked, "what am I, really?" "What do you mean, sweetie", his mother replied. "Am I a pure Draco-Valorian?" His mother stopped and grew quiet. She turned to him and said, "I...I can't tell you, honey." He sat up and said, "why not, Ma." She went silent then said, "Because I made a promise to your dad." "Ma!" Takeo said agitatedly. She went silent again, starting to s.h.i.+ft around. Takeo got out of the bed and said to his mother, "Ma, I met another Draco-Valorian, he told to ask you about my true hertiage." She stood shocked and said, "you did?!" She went silent again.

After a moment, she looked up and said, "alright, fine I tell you" Takeo then said, "finally." She began by stated that she herself is a Firedrake not a Draco-Valorian. Takeo was a three way Dragonkin hybrid of Draco-Valorian, Firedrake, and Draconian. On the day he was born, a mysterious person snuck into there home and , through a special blood ritual, gave him the "Draconian Birthright". The ritual infused the DNA of a Draconian into him, thus making him one. Takeo remained silent, still trying to comprend what he just heard. "I want you to meet someone", his mom said. "Who?" Takeo replied. "A old friend of mine named Melanie Phoenix, I want you to train with her", she added, "I'll be back". His mother walked out and came back wearing a odd glove. "What the h.e.l.l is that, " Takeo said. "A. watch your mouth, B. it's called the Dragon's Calling Glove, just say the name of the place you want to go to, " she said. He took the glove and left.
