Early-Phase Viscount was comparable to the Type 7 Divine Warrior so Lucien now was something like G.o.d among men. The only shortcoming of his cultivation was that he lacked the Energy Cultivation so he couldn't do those fancy things like destroying entire mountain ranges with one attack and so on, but he could still shatter some smaller mountains with one or two punches now.

Even though he didn't have any kind of Energy Cultivation and his Psionic Energy was pitifully low, useful only against very small amount of opponent or at surprise attacks, his tyrannical body was enough to deal with many cultivators in the G.o.d-Devil Plane as not many of them cultivated their bodies or were of some race which had innately tyrannical body.

Thanks to the special const.i.tution of the Sacred Devourer Ghouls, they could start Energy Cultivation only from the Count-Rank, when they formed Psionic Core as they had now something like a talent for Psionic Way of Energy Cultivation. His grandfather reached the Count-Rank some time ago and formed Psionic Core, it happened naturally and now he started cultivating the Energy Cultivation.

Ranks in the Psionic Energy Cultivation were calculated on the Energy Level of the person reached, every time he reached a certain threshold, the Energy Level would undergo some changes in quality and strength. Also, one of the advantages of dual cultivators, when somebody is Body Refiner and Energy Cultivator at the same time, is that their bodies are better at handling huge amounts of energies so they wouldn't get many backslashes or injuries from performing various energy-based attacks.

Now that Lucien was finished with thinking about other things and more importantly he finished with experimenting with his new strength, especially those Ukaku Wings, he decided to check out of his record to see the changes on it.

Lucien looked very satisfied looking at his records and now that he reached the Viscount-Rank he knew it was time to open another Gate out of the Eight Celestial Inner Gates. Each Gate opened gave heaven-defying pa.s.sive bonuses to the cultivator. For example as The Gate of Opening gave him Celestial Reflexes so his reflexes reached the totally terrifying level, comparable to the level of some very strong cultivators or those cultivating in similar methods. Cultivation Techniques like the Eight Celestial Inner Gater are very hard to cultivate as they had extremely high requirements on the body of the cultivator.

Lucien knew he could wait a bit, but he felt he should be able to handle the pain from opening another Gate. Next Gate from the Eight Celestial Inner Gates was named The Gate of Healing. This Gate was located also in the brain when opened allows energies to have a better flow in the body and also greatly enhances the regeneration of the body. It strengthened the pa.s.sive regeneration by a huge amount and even strengthened talent for Energy Cultivation, so Lucien was very happy to have something like this.

After some time of serious thinking, Lucien decided he would open another Gate at tomorrow as now he was tired from breaking through and his cultivation was extremely unstable so he would need to digest many more blood essences to at least stabilize it a bit.

Thus Lucien went to sleep and after he recovered enough, he immediately started practicing the Eight Celestial Inner Gates open The Gate of Healing. Suddenly he felt a huge pain in his brain, as blood started flowing out of his eyes, ears, and mouth but soon it stopped and Lucien had a very peaceful expression on his face. The satisfied expression on his face.

Success. He successfully opened The Gate of Healing and it only took him around ten or so minutes. Opening these Gates wasn't that hard when one had strong enough body and willpower. Lucien had both of them so it was quickly done and even though it was rather a painful process, soon all the pain was gone and the only thing left was feeling of pure satisfaction.

Also, his regeneration of Psionic Energy was now faster as his whole system of meridians was strengthened by a significant amount.

As Lucien observed the results and tested them, he decided it was time to go back to his estate to have some time with his beautiful and now also, h.o.r.n.y fianceé. Time was shortening and there were only two years left before leaving this world, so everything must be prepared perfectly. Lucien even planned that after year he would raid the ancestral home of the Washuu Clan, slaughtering the whole clan. They only needed to create some commotion to divide their attention, but now it was also pointless that Lucien reached the Viscount-Rank.

After a year of stabilization or so, the final fight would come.
