The driver, Hyue, and the two friends were brought to the police station to be questioned.

Apparently, not long before Jasmine and co arrived, an ambulance was called here and came to pick up two men who were stabbed by a knife and a gla.s.s shard.

Upon hearing what happened, Jasmine became even more confused as there were no signs of Bin, only his phone was there.

"What were you doing there?"

"I'm telling you! My servant's phone was there. I was looking for him."

The officer sharply stared at the girl in front of him before writing something down.

After a bit of time, Jasmine grew annoyed and tired of the endless questions. She banged her fist on the ground and shouted

"Shouldn't you be searching for him instead of asking useless questions?!"

"What did you say?"

Displeased with her att.i.tude toward a police officer, he was about to shout back at her only for a man wearing a tuxedo to come running over like a cheetah.

He appeared next to Jasmine within a second and before the officer could utter any word, the man said:

"Let's go, Jasmine, you don't need to answer him."

Upon seeing who it was, the girl broke into a smile. She intimately grabbed his hand while showing the tongue to the angry officer.

"As a witness, unless she's officially summoned, she doesn't have to answer your questions."

This 'Uncle Rock' is the lawyer of the family and one of the best in his field. He owns the best law firm in the country and is known to be very close to Jasmine, though, not in a romantic way.

To be precise, he regards her as a little sister and always takes care of her whenever something like this happens.

Lawyer Rock helped everyone else leave the police station before asking them what led to this. So, being the oldest, the chauffeur explained the situation.

"In which hospital are those two in?"

"The main hospital."

"Are they conscious?"-Rock

"No, one of them is still undergoing surgery and the other is unconscious."

Rock breathed a sigh of relief and added;

"That's good, as long as they aren't awake, they can't charge him with attempted murder. We need to find him and hear his side of the story."

At the entrance of the main hospital, one of the highly esteemed doctors entered an expensive parked car with a slightly shaking body. With an uneasy feeling, he gulped some saliva and sat opposite of the sole figure inside the car.

It was a blond girl who was nonchalantly drinking some wine. She stared at the doctor, whose head was hanging low, and said:

"How are the condition of the two men who were stabbed?"

"M-miss… one of them is still in surgery while the other is unconscious but will wake up in two or three days."

While playing with the gla.s.s of wine, she pondered for a few minutes before coldly saying

"One of them will die with a heart attack and the other will have a failed surgery hence dying in the process."

Hearing her talk about killing the two of them as if it was nothing, the doctor felt a chill ran down his spines yet he didn't dare to refuse. He repeatedly nodded his head and hastily left the car.

The girl, who was calm just a second ago, angrily tightened her grip on the wine gla.s.s, causing countless cracks to appear on it. As she stared at the hospital, she mumbled

"I've only asked them to try to cause him slight trouble… *sigh* it's my fault for hiring such fools."

Sometime later, a man entered the car, he was holding lots of doc.u.ments and seemed to be some kind of informer.

"Miss, the whereabouts of Bin are still unknown but he was seen by a couple of CCTVs."

"Any idea where he was headed?"

The man shook his head and replied:

"No, he was heading to a remote area and, in his condition, it is unlikely that he'll survive without any immediate help."

She waved her hand dismissively while saying

"Keep looking for him!"

"Yes Miss!"

"Did you really call Lawyer Rock just to help you search for your servant?"

Jasmine's father glared at her while uttering those words, not pleased that his daughter was not only brought to a police station but also called for Rock, who's busy dealing with other matters.

"Hmpf! He's my servant so of course, I have to do all I can to find him!"

Her father banged his fist on the table and was about to shout again only to shut up when Angelica entered the room and looked at him with a chilling look, making him unconsciously gulp some saliva and back off.

"Why don't you try listening to her first?"

"Yes yes I was insensitive!"

While rubbing his hands, he smiled at Jasmine and behaved like an obedient child. The madam sat next to her husband and waited for Jasmine to fully explain the situation.

"It's too late now so searching everywhere is not only dangerous but also pointless. Go get some rest and we'll search for him tomorrow."

"But mo-"

"Don't make me repeat myself, Jasmine."

Seeing the serious look on her mother's face, Jasmine dropped her head and angrily stormed out of the room. Though she seemed like a disobedient child, Jasmine never went against her parents as she not only treasured them but also respect them.

"The two injured men that were found on the scene died a short while ago."

"I've done that but there's nothing to know about him. There's one minor thing I want to know but it'll take a while to get results."

While grinning, he nudged her shoulder while whispering

"It's rare to see you interested in something like this."

In response, she pushed him away while explaining:

"Our daughter hold a bit of attachment to him and she seems to be enjoying her time ever since he appeared so I see no harm in keeping him around. He seems to be a good boy too."
