With quick steps and a beautiful smile on her face, Jasmine walked toward Joseph, who noticed her arrival. A few of his male friends whispered something in his ears causing him to laugh and jokingly push them away so he could focus on the incoming Jasmine.

"Handsome, isn't he?"

Bin, who was gazing at Joseph, seemingly thinking about something, was startled by the sudden voice which entered his ears. He abruptly turned around only to see a blond girl giggling at him. She wore a gorgeous black dress and a beautiful silver pendant that added more to her exceptional beauty.

It was none other than the venomous girl who tried to rope him under her wing earlier. Melissa glanced at Joseph before staring at Bin and speaking again:

"He's like the perfect man but in my eyes, he's just an opportunist."

Then she looked at Bin up and down before licking her lips and adding:

"In comparison, you're much… better."

Bin looked at her with disgust before trying to distance himself from her, unwilling to speak with her. Unfortunately, Melissa was quite persistent, she was glue, following him around while talking about the students.

"That four eye is one of the top students in our school, he's a magic freak."

"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to my party!"

He looked at the present students for a moment before continuing:

"It's the beginning of a new semester so I hope you get to enjoy yourself tonight so that you can focus on your studies starting tomorrow."

After saying that, he laughed and waved his hand, causing beautiful blue particles to appear on the stage, just next to him and within a few seconds, a person's silhouette could be seen.

"Tonight, we have a unique guest! Someone who'll be a temporary teacher in our academy!"

Slowly but surely, the silhouette started becoming clearer until a woman with dark red hair appeared.

"Please welcome, Scarlett Caulfort!"

The students clapped at the appearance of Scarlett. The woman seemed to be a foreigner and unlike the other girls present here, she seemed mature and had the beauty of a real woman, causing many of the youngster to become momentarily entranced.

The only who seemed completely uninterested was Bin, who had trouble dealing with the abundance of Mana, especially after Thomas appeared. This place was becoming suffocating and it won't be long before the dizziness strikes him.
