Melissa inquired while looking at her friend, Rika, whose eyes, which were still wet, were swollen from all the crying. The short-haired girl docilely sat next to Bin and remained silent, she was glancing at the young man, signaling him with her eyes.
'Alright alright I won't tell.'
He rolled his eyes and let out a sigh, wondering why she's still trying to hide it. Nevertheless, he followed her will and didn't tell anything to Melissa.
"She'll have to stay with Jasmine or you for the next period."
Melissa nodded her head then worriedly gazed at her friend, who looked as if she went through h.e.l.l.
"Aren't you going to tell me what happened?"
It's the first time she saw Rika in this state, which made her feel guilty about not trying to understand her situation in the past. She only noticed when Bin appeared and, in fact, if he hadn't saved her from drowning back then, none of this would have happened.
"Fine, don't speak but let me help you, ok?"
Melissa sat next to Rika and tenderly caressed her hair. The blond girl then looked at Bin and stated:
"I'll take her with me. You won't mind, right?"
He shrugged his shoulders and replied:
"Why would I? Just take care of her."
Hearing this, Melissa chuckled and whispered: "You act cold but you're actually soft-hearted, huh."
"What did you say?"-Bin
"Nothing nothing."

Fortunately, Melissa dropped him at his master's home before going back home with Rika. The sun was setting and, truthfully, Bin was feeling tired. His sickness wasn't acting up but he still did a lot of tiring activities today. Accompanying Aldren, tailing Rikaand sneaking into her house and beating her dad. Everything was chaotic but he didn't regret the decisions he made.
Seeing Rika in that state truly made him feel sympathetic, moreover, Jasmine gave him quite a bit of pocket money so it's worth it, or so he thought.
The moment he opened the door and entered the manor, someone crazily ran at him, almost cras.h.i.+ng into him were it not for his timely retreat.
"What happened? Is Rika alright? Is she with you? Where is she?"
Jasmine bombarded him with questions, not even leaving him a second to collect his thoughts and calmly reply. Seeing that she won't stop, he covered her mouth with his hand and complained:
"How am I to reply to all of that if you're talking endlessly like a radio."
Once he saw that she 'kind' of calmed down, he retracted his hand from her mouth, let out a sigh and said:
"Rika is alright. She accompanied Melissa to her home."
"And?"
"And that's all the report."
Jasmine frowned and spoke again, with a louder tone: " 'All the report?' I'm asking what happened when you tailed her. Why did she go with Melissa?"
"No idea, ask her yourself tomorrow."
Right after saying that, he left her hanging and went toward the living room, eager to see his little sister Mina. Today, he earned quite a bit of money and grew closer to his goal. If he earns the same amount everyday then he could die with absolute peace, knowing that Mina won't ever have to live in poverty.
"Arghhh!"

Jasmine stomped her foot and dashed after him, planning to force him to spill everything. Unfortunately, her mother and father were also in the living room, causing her to remain quiet and glare at the calm Bin.
She sat on the sofa and looked at the heart-warming atmosphere around the brother and sister.
Mina was happily spinning, showing Bin yet another piece of cloth newly bought by Angelica, the Madam of the house.
Even Theodore grew very fond of Mina, who was not only cute but very obedient and not that needy compared to the other young kids born in rich families. Ever since she came back from kindergarten, she sat on the sofa and either watched the TV or read a children's book, not even letting out a squeak.
"Oh you're back just in time."
Angelica smiled at Bin before catching a glimpse of some blood on his s.h.i.+rt. He hid it very carefully but the angle she was looking at him from allowed her to see it, though only for a split second. Of course, she didn't ask anything and warmly welcomed him to join the table so they could dine together.
This time, Bin happily accepted the invitation and promised to come after changing into a new set of clothes. Jasmine bought him at least a dozen suits that are similar to this one so there was no harm into wearing a new one as this one was dirty and had some bloodstains which he very much wanted to hide.
As he left the family and walked to his temporary room, he felt an unusual eeriness which was kind of familiar. He remembers feeling it when he visited the academy with Jasmine for the first time. He saw a silhouette gazing back at him but paid it no heed as he was in pain due to his illness.
Now, as he walked down the wide and empty corridor, he kind of felt tailed… as if a pair of eyes were focusing on him. He pretended to be oblivious and marched at a decent pace, trying to keep an expressionless face.
His first thought was that it's a thief but, it was rather unlikely as the manor was rather well-guarded. This meant that it's someone from the manor, but a person he wasn't acquainted with.
'I cannot see him so it's probably magic… but why follow me?"
It was then that he remembered the bloodstains. Perhaps they misunderstood something, nevertheless, he was never the dangerous type, after all, he can't even use Magic.
Bin kept calm and slowly opened the door and entered his room. He turned around and looked at the automatically closing door, he suddenly acted without hesitation, hitting the door with his legs, causing it to violently slam shut.
'I'm sure I was being followed, my body is reacting to the magic… why didn't the door hit him? Didn't he follow me inside?'
Confused, Bin opened the door, looked at the luminous and empty corridor before saying:
"It would be so so very kind of you to show yourself right now."
