She entered the room after knocking five times.
"I'm back, guys! Please hand me the index card," she said.
One of the men gathered all the index cards and handed it to Jessy.
Jessy sat down on one of the vacant bed. "Peeps, listen up, I will make a roll call so that I will know who is who..." she spoke.
She starts calling names. "Ben..."
"That's me!" The guy in the gray t-s.h.i.+rt responded.
"Samuel..."
"I'm here!" said the guy that wore a brown sweats.h.i.+rt.
"Teddy..."
"Present Ma'am!" the guy in the white t-s.h.i.+rt spoke.
She read the last name on the index card. "Leo..."
"That's my name!" the guy in black sleeveless s.h.i.+rt responded.
Jessy cut into four the one piece of an index card that she was holding and wrote numbers on them from one to four. Then she rolled the piece of papers one by one and then began shaking them inside her hands, then she opened her palm. "Okay, guys, hear me out first...there are four pieces of paper in my palm pick only one, those who will pick the number one shall go home first," she explained.
One by one the men picked up their numbers excitedly.
"Alright, open up your numbers...let see who got the number#1," she instructed.
"Hooray, It's me!" a bright smile appeared on Leo's face, he handed his number to Jessy.
Jessy wrote #1 on Leo's index card. "Who got the 2nd number?"
"Me!" a smiling Teddy placed his number on the bed near Jessy.
"How about the 3rd number?" she asked.
"I'm the third person to go home!" Samuel stepped forward to show Jessy his number.
Jessy looked at Ben, the last person on the list.
Ben smiled and showed his number. "Well...I guess...I'm the last man standing in this room after you all go home," he said. "Can I keep this number as my souvenir, Ma'am?" he asked.
Jessy smiled back at him. "Okay, you can keep it," she granted his request.
The rest of the men took their numbers back, they decided to keep the numbers as their souvenirs to remind them of this place.
"Guys...the first to go home is Leo...followed by Teddy...then next is Samuel... and last but not the least is Ben..." Jessy said aloud. "Leo, please get ready by next week you are scheduled to go home. I will visit you here one day before your departure," she added.
Leo stood up. "Excuse me, Ma'am, do we have to ride a plane, s.h.i.+p or bus for me to go home?" he inquired feeling excited.
Jessy smiled. "None of the above, Leo," she answered.
Samuel smirked. "Don't forget, Jessy is a vampire, she will flew us directly to our house by zooming high in the air then tossed us in the ground, let's just pray we won't break a leg during the fall and then in an instant she will be gone before we even know it," one of the men joked.
They erupted in boisterous laughter.
Jessy laughed along with the men.
When the laughter died they stared at Jessy for confirmation.
Jessy smirked, she decided to humor them. "You got it right, guys. I will fly you to your homes. We will be flying high up in the sky, and hovers above mountains, rivers, highways, buildings, and houses, the view up there are spectacular!" she was smiling while talking.
Everyone looked at Jessy with excitement, based on the animated look on their faces they were looking forward to the adventure of being able to fly high up in the sky.
"I'm looking forward to going home and see my family and my wife!" Leo said aloud.
The men began chatting on what they will do the moment they go home. Jessy listened to their blabbering for a few minutes, then she finally bid them goodbye.
The smile of amus.e.m.e.nt still lingers on Jessy's face when she exited the room. She went back to her room and placed the index card above the bedside table, then come out of the room a moment later heading back to the clinic for another round of blood transfusion.

One week later.
The royal couple held a special event for that night. The private event was attended by King Antone, Queen Margaret, Princess Abigail, Hannah, Adam, Jessy, and her parents. Aunt Ruby and Aunt Ruth as well the doctor was also present. They have a celebration that night because based on the doctor's record Jessy was able to successfully transformed a total of 1,000 vampires into mortals, to date.
It's a significant milestone for the surviving vampires...
There are only two types of drinks in the table such as a pitcher of blood for vampires and red wine for the humans.
King Antone began his speech...
"Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to have a toast with you all. Cheers for the bright future of the vampire race! And a million thanks for Jessy for making all these things possible! The prophecy never failed us, it provides us redemption through Jessy. I'm looking forward to the completion of blood transfusion of the remaining four thousand vampires in the next years to come...Cheers to all!"
They all took a sip from the wine gla.s.ses.
The vampires were drinking their blood drinks while the humans like Aunt Ruth, Aunt Ruby Sarah, Jessy, and Adam were drinking red wine.
It's a joyous occasion, except that Prince Zain was noticeably absent from the happy celebration.
Everyone conversed merrily with one another.
Queen Margaret went to Jessy's side. "Child, did you already prepared the next four candidates to go home next week?"
"Yes, Mother. This time it will be the men's turn after the ladies," Jessy answered.
"That's good, just inform me if the first candidate is already ready for departure," the queen said.
"Yes I will, Mother," Jessy replied.
Queen Margaret left Jessy's side and engaged the pregnant Hannah in a pleasant conversation about motherhood.
The doctor, Hector, Sarah, Aunt Ruby, Aunt Ruth, and King Antone were discussing the country's current political and economic condition as well as the country's important role in maintaining world peace with their allies. Dealing with terrorists inside and outside the country is always been a sensitive topic, to begin with...then they discuss other important topics such as global warming, climate change, technology advancement and a lot of issues affecting the society in general.
