The Last Embrace 304 You Will Be Mine!

Jagger stared at the frozen woman beside her. He knows that at this point everyone will be looking for her. If he won't travel to a faraway place, the king and his men would surely go after him, too bad he already loses all his minions he can no longer keep his enemies at bay.

He was alone now and with the woman, as his captive, his enemies will be in hot pursuit going after him.

He needs to keep moving and flee far away as far as he can.

He was considering going back to his brother's place and stay there all his life, hoping that one day he might still be able to think of a better way how to carry on his vengeance against the king and his men.

He looked at the frozen woman and smirked, "Not bad, even though I failed to kill the king, I got a trophy on my side, this beautiful woman will be mine!" he grinned, feeling possessive of his captive.

Jagger runs his fingers on the woman's silky hair, he has this sudden urge to feed on her blood again.

"Later's my dearest...I will deal with my thirst after we arrive to our destination. For now, we have to keep moving so that n.o.body can trace our steps," he said aloud.

He began cleaning the blood on the ground using his power, eliminating the blood residue on the surface of the ground and dumped earth on the area where the blood was visible earlier.

Then he looked around him...everything was the same inside the cave... if they will leave this place and somebody examined it...no one will think that it was been inhabited for a little while.

Jagger went to the frozen woman's side and embraced her, then he initiated the teleportation process.

A few minutes later.

They landed in a forest with lush vegetation, swarmed with an abundance of towering trees that reach as far as the eyes can see. Then a faint sound of trickling water can be heard, signaling that there was a stream nearby.

The full moon above the sky illuminated the entire area.

A treehouse can be seen up in one of the branches of the biggest trees in that area.

Jagger smiled fondly looking at the treehouse, it used to be his residence before he abandons it and decided to take revenge on the king.

He might stay here for a couple of days and then proceed to his brother's place afterward.

For now, he will just enjoy his time getting to know the woman because he had plans to keep her by his side and make her his wife, a wicked smile adorned his lips upon thinking of having a wife.

Jagger embraced the frozen woman and hovered above the ground going towards the treehouse situated above the tree.

When they got there, he placed the woman in the floor and he began lighting the whole area with the fire coming out from his palm, he took the torched from the wooden wall and lighted it.

The house was bare, just the way it is when he left it five years ago... he noticed that the whole place was dusty and a large number of cobwebs were now occupying the whole place.

Jagger grimaced while inspecting his former abode, finding the place too dirty and stuffy, he decided that it needs some cleaning and tidying before it can be habitable.

He exited the house together with his captive and landed back in the ground, he put the frozen woman gently on the gra.s.sy lawn. "Stay here for a moment, Belle, I will clean our little house so that we can rest comfortably up there," he said.

Jagger went back to the treehouse and began cleaning the whole area, dusting the floor and the ceiling to eliminate the cobwebs. It took him a few minutes of cleaning before he was satisfied with the result, finally, the area was livable again.

He went to the earthen jug where he usually stored water, it's empty. He carried the jug and flew out of the house to go to the nearest stream. After he returned from the stream, he put back the jug on the floor and exited the house to bring back the frozen woman inside the treehouse.

After settling the woman in the floor, he went out of the house and hovered around the place, using his black magic he waved his hand making the whole treehouse invisible to the naked eye.

Satisfied with his work, he then comes back to the treehouse and landed in front of the frozen woman.

He sat on the floor facing the woman and stared at her facial feature for a long time, he found himself mesmerized by her beauty, as minutes pa.s.s by he was smitten by her looks, she got an alluring beauty. He could stare at her face all day and all night long and he won't be feeling tired and bored looking at her face.

As much as he wanted to stare at the woman's face for hours, he can't continue acting like this.

It's now time to unfreeze her!

Before he will unfreeze her, he will perform a ritual first... to make sure that the woman can never escape.

Jagger's mouth uttered some foreign words...then black smoke came out from his fingers...using his hands he draws a circle on the wooden floor wide enough for one person to sit upon.

Done performing his magic ritual, he placed the frozen woman inside the magic circle then began the process of unfreezing the woman...with the wave of his hand...the woman comes back to life.

Jessy breathed deeply and slowly blink her eyes, opening it wide.

She come eye to eye with a smirking Jagger.

"Hi, Belle..." Jagger smiled brightly addressing the woman, his heart was palpitating inside his rib cage the moment her eyes landed on his face.

Jessy roamed her eyes around her, wondering who was the person he just called Belle, finding no other people around them, she realized that he called her Belle.

"Who are you calling, Belle?" she asked.

"You!" he said.

"That is not my name," she argued.

"It doesn't matter. I don't care who you are and what others call you, from now on I will call you Belle, because that name suits your face pretty face...," he insisted.

"Whatever!" Jessy pouted. "Can I have water please, I'm so thirsty!" she demanded.

"Okay wait for a moment," Jagger stood up and scoop water from the jug using a coconut sh.e.l.l. "I apologize, Belle, I can only use this coconut sh.e.l.l to feed you water," he said. He placed the sh.e.l.l inside the circle within the woman's reach.

Jessy grabbed the coconut sh.e.l.l and drink the water from it. Surprisingly the water tasted really good. "I need some more!" she demanded.

He was more than willing to oblige her and scooped more water from the jug and gave it to her.

Jessy was able to finish drinking three rounds of water.

Afterward, she stood up and was about to step forward out of the circle.

"No! You can't step outside that circle!" he said.

"And why?" she asked in puzzlement.

"You will get burn, the circle will burn you alive, I made this circle so that you can't escape from me, from now on you will be mine and stay by my side because I love the taste of your blood in my mouth and besides you look so beautiful I can no longer let you go," he said. He got that infatuated look in his eyes while gazing at the woman.

Jessy refused to believe about what he had said regarding the deadly circle. There is only one way to find out, she slowly placed the tiny part of the hem of her black jacket into the circle... and d.a.m.n! the garment burnt right away creating a smoke! Holy cow! He was really serious about keeping her by his side.

"Aren't you afraid that I'm going to kill you?" she warned him, giving him a chilly stare.

Jagger chuckled. "I was supposed to die, but you saved me at the last minute. That confuses the h.e.l.l out of me, now care to share why you save me? We are enemies, right? So, why did you save me? What is it in me that you find attractive that you decided to save me instead of letting me die in that cave?" he asked, his penetrating and calculating eyes boring into hers.
