The Last Embrace 338 Stunning!

The next day.

During her two hours break from the clinic. Jessy immediately went to Adam's condo unit to try on the evening gown that she will be wearing for the party.

The moment she arrived on his condo unit, the five gowns were already on their respective boxes, complete with earrings, necklaces, and bracelets that accentuated the color of the gowns.  Although she is not a party animal and shun the spotlight compared to Adam who already used to the public attention and the glare of the cameras, but she will try to make this party a pleasant experience for him and her.

It's about time she will learn a little bit of socializing and getting out of her comfort zone, meet some new people and explore how it feels to be in Adam's world.

For a change? Why not?

She somehow feels a bit excited while looking at the evening gowns.

Adam was looking at her face.

"Can't decide what to fit first? Here let me help you..." he said and picked up the first gown within his reach.

It's a pink sleeveless body-hugging gown that was below the knee in length, with a high slit and plunging neckline. Jessy went to the bathroom to change into the gown. When she exited the bathroom...

"How do I look?" she said.

Adam was silent for a moment. "It's a bit too bold, the high slit is too much and the neckline is too low...I don't like it!"

"Okay, I don't like it too! I have a hard time moving because it hugs my body too tight, I can't breathe," she complained.

Jessy picked up the next gown. It's color green, the sleeve is much longer than the first gown, same below the knee in length and got a flowing silk skirt. She went back inside the bathroom and wear the gown.

She exited and looked at Adam. "How about this one?" she asked.

"Turned around a bit," he instructed her.

Jessy obeyed his command.

"Not bad. It's a conservative gown and not showing much skin, you looked elegant on this gown," he commented.

"Me too. I'm comfortable wearing this one than the first," she responded.

"You can try the third one," Adam said, pointing at the sleeveless light blue, long gown with silk detailing showing lots of her skin at the back and front.

"Okay, I will try it now," she said and went inside the bathroom.

She come out after a few minutes. "How about this?" she looked at her toes, the hem of the gown was dropping on the floor. It will be uncomfortable for her to walk because she will keep stepping on the gown for sure.

"It does look nice on you but, too lengthy! You might trip on that gown and fall into an accident. I think it's not comfortable to wear that gown. Just my opinion though, how about you?" he asked.

Jessy shook her head. "Nah, I will pa.s.s. This gown is not my type," she said. She looked at the remaining two gowns. She picked up the fourth one which is a simple princess cut velvet burgundy color evening gown, below the knee in length. Although it's sleeveless it's done in good taste and decent looking, her cleavage wasn't prominently displayed.

She went to the bathroom and change into it.

A few minutes later, she goes out and made a pose in front of Adam. "How about this?" she asked.

Adam looked at her appreciatively. "That dress looks better on you, it enhanced your beauty and your eyes. It's not too lengthy and not too short either, just your perfect fit. It accentuated your curves perfectly. Honestly, you looked stunning on it Jess!" he smiled.

"Really—?" she looked at the gown. "I like it too, I'm comfortable wearing it, it's cla.s.sy but not too s.e.xy," she observed. "I will try the last one," she picked up the black gown.

When she wears it inside the bathroom her jaw drops on the floor. "OMG!" As if she was staring at a different person in front of the mirror. The black long gown was perfect in every inch, hugging all her curves, accentuated with a high slit, and the plunging neckline shows her ample cleavage. Darn! It's too revealing, and it has no sleeve too! It's a gorgeous gown but too bold for her demure personality.

"Jess, what's taking you so long in there? Come out, so that I can see how you look in that gown!" Adam said.

"I'm not gonna wear this gown! It's too insane!" she said.

"Let me see you on it first before you take it off!" he said.

"Okay, I will be out in a minute!" she shouted.

She exited the bathroom.

Adam's eyes grow like saucers. "Oh...wow! Gorgeous! I never know you look so good in a s.e.xy gown like this!" he whistled ogling at the overflowing s.e.xy a.s.sets of his girlfriend. He used to see her in a mere blouse, t-s.h.i.+rts, and sweats.h.i.+rts, and she's not so overly fond of girly outfits. Seeing her wearing a gorgeous s.e.xy gown, made him see her in a different light. "The gown looks stunning in you! It brings out the other side of your personality that you never explored. But as much as I admired that gown and how you look wearing it, I won't allow you to wear that gown at the party. The gown is too s.e.xy and shows too much skin. I don't like other men ogling at my sweetheart. So for me, a big no for that gown!" he said.

Jessy looked at him in amazement. "I'm glad you don't want me to wear it because I don't like wearing it too. I will surely feel uncomfortable parading my body with it. It's too, s.e.xy, too vulgar for my taste!" her nose crinkled.

She went back to the bathroom and discarded the gown slowly out of her body, careful not to damage the clothes. She changed into her black blouse and blue jeans and exited the bathroom.

She went to the bed and began folding the clothes back to their boxes. She set aside the conservative color green gown and the simple princess cut velvet burgundy color evening gown. "Now I want you to choose the best gown for me," she said to him.

Adam stared at the two gowns for a few minutes trying to decide which gown suits his girlfriend better. In terms of attractiveness, the velvet burgundy color evening gown is much suited for Jessy because it enhanced her pretty features without revealing much of her skin. He picked up the velvet burgundy gown and placed it on Jessy's lap. "I chose this one! It's suited your personality well!" he said.

"Okay, this is the one!" she said and placed it on a hanger and hang it on his closet.

"Tomorrow, you have to come back here at 6:00 in the evening for your makeup and hairstyling. I already hired a makeup artist and hairstylist to do your face and hair so that you will have a gorgeous appearance on the party to match with your stunning gown," he said.

Jessy pouted her lips. "No need for a makeup artist or hairstylist, I can style my hair. I will just tie my hair in a ponytail and I'm done then I will just apply lipstick on my lips and I'm ready," she said confidently.

Adam chuckled and pinched her nose lovingly. "No. Just trust me on this one. Just let another person do your make up and style your hair for the party, it will be a different experience for you, trust me, you will like it!" he said. "Just this one please—?" he begged.

Jessy looked at his face. "Okay...as you wish. I will do it for you," she relented wanting to please him.

Adam hugged her. "It's okay. If you are adamant and you don't like other people to do your hair and face, I will not force you," he said.

Jessy smiled. "Don't worry, I want to experience too how it feels to have someone fix my hair and my face..."

"Are you sure? You're not upset that I somehow forced you into it?" he said looking into her eyes.

Jessy shook her head. "Nah, don't worry about me. I'm looking forward to it," she said with sparkling eyes.

"That's good, Jess!" he hugged her tightly.

They cuddled in the bed and talked some more about the party and where it's going to be held.

A few minutes later, Jessy bid Adam goodbye because she still has to do one blood transfusion for that night.
