The Last Embrace 41 Vampires Descending!

On the eve of Jess' 20th Birthday...

The clock strikes at 8:00 PM in the evening.

Jessy stared at the full moon outside Adam's window. The moon glowed so brightly it seems trying to beckoned her. She and Adam already said everything to each other last night.

Nothing to say anymore...

All her tears were already spent and dried...

What was left is a dull feeling in her heart and vast emptiness as infinite as the universe above.

It's her 20th birthday today. Yet the gloom and doom atmosphere surrounding her is real. She glanced at Adam who was intently watching her back...she smiled at him, then she brought her attention back to the moon above.

As she kept staring at the moon, she noticed that she's feeling thirsty all of a sudden.

She needs water quick! She clutched at her throat...

"Jess, come here..."

She heard Adam's call...she glanced at him...as she was heading for the door to get water downstairs.

"Am thirsty Adam, I will go downstairs first, I'll be back!" she said in a hurry.

"No! Don't go, Jess. It's not water that you need right now. It's my blood!" He said in a loud voice

Her steps faltered, she turns her gaze towards him. Her eyes widen when she saw him holding a knife, he opened his left palm and cut the surface of his palm using the knife. Blood instantly sprouted out of the wound he made. Soon, his palm created a tiny pool of blood.

Jessy suddenly felt attracted to the fresh blood on Adam's hands, she finds the smell so intoxicating and exotic. She licked her lips...

She walked towards him in dazed, hypnotized by the smell of blood.

"It's all yours, Jess. Drink it!" he urged her.

She hesitated a bit, but as the thirst keeps growing stronger, she finally succ.u.mbs to her thirst. She holds Adams palm tightly and starts drinking the blood. Her mouth is like that of a vacuum, draining all Adam's blood out of his body at alarming speed.

Adam ma.s.saged his chest with his free hand. The pain is getting stronger now as the blood was being sucked out from his body at rapid speed.

Five minutes....

Ten minutes....

Jessy continues to suck at Adam's blood, thirsty for more. She can't get enough of his blood it tastes so delicious. She even moaned as if experiencing o.r.g.a.s.m.

Adam's lips curled in a little smirk. Her Little Vampress is now alive!

He touched her hair gently, she stops her sucking and looked at him in dazed. Adam caresses her cheeks. "Look at me, Jess. Kiss me now!" he urged her before his last breath finally runs out.

Jessy obeyed and pressed her mouth into his. He entered her mouth and devoured it with all the strength he could muster, tasting his own blood in the process. As the last thread of life was fading away from his gray eyes...he whispered the last words he always wanted to say to her. "I love you so much, Jess."

Then his voice slowly fades away...

Both his hands lose its strength and fell on to his side...the wound in his palm still open but no more blood comes out. His two eyes were dull looking, no life, no spark...nothing...

His chest not breathing anymore...

Adam is dead!

It was at that particular moment that Jessy finally had awakened from the trance she was suffering.

She stared at Adam's lifeless body...

"Addamm!" she screamed loud. She was hysterical upon seeing his lifeless face and his chest not moving anymore.

She performed CPR on his chest and try to perform mouth to mouth resurrection on him, but his mouth was already cold. His entire body went cold awhile ago.

Huge fat tears were falling from her eyes down to her face. She weeps hard and cried her heart out in front of his dead body.

Nana Aida suddenly burst inside the room....carrying something.

"Nana, I killed Adam! I drained all of his blood!" she said in a hysterical manner.

Nana Aida looked at Adam's lifeless body and at Jess' b.l.o.o.d.y mouth.

"Calm down, Jess!" she said.

Nana Aida's heart sunk...does she came late?

No time to waste!

Then all of a sudden, Jess' body convulsed violently, she fainted right into Adam's arms.

Nana Aida checked Jess pulse, she's alright, her breathing is steady. Must be the result of her transformation.

She pulled Jess' body away from Adam into the other side of the bed, then she emptied the content of the small bag that she carried with her. Out came a small saucer, a knife, and a spoon.

She holds the knife tightly in her right hand and holds Jess' fingertips with her left hand.

"Am sorry Jess," she murmured. She immediately cut Jess index finger with the knife creating a small tear, the blood starts pouring out from the cut, she held it a bit higher above the saucer to gather her blood, she pinched Jess' fingers to squeezed more blood. She breathed a little when blood is already pouring out from her cut in steady manner, but a few seconds later to her surprised the wound is closing in and healing fast!

d.a.m.n! She needs more blood!

She gathered Jess' hands once again and cut the tips of her five fingers at the same time...more blood poured into the saucer. Every time the wound is closing in she cut it back...she repeated the same process for the next three minutes.

She tried hard to fight the feeling of nausea that is attacking her senses, seeing fresh blood is not ideal for her. She's feeling dizzy with the smell of the blood filling her nostrils, the sight of blood is too much for her to handle. But she has to do it for Adam.

She stopped after seeing that the saucer was already half full. She immediately got hold of the spoon and feed the blood into Adam's already cold and stiff mouth, when the last drop of blood was already fed into his mouth, her hands trembled and her body shaken...she vomited in the floor.

Then Nana Aida pa.s.sed out in the bed.

The time stood still...

...

...

...

Nana Aida regains consciousness after a few minutes...

She immediately checked Adam...but to her big disappointment, his face was still the same as before...no life.

She failed!

She fight the urge to cry...in the distance, she heard the howling of wolves...

Oh My G.o.d! They are coming...!

She quickly sprung to her feet. She went to the bathroom and brought back a wet towel with her, she quickly wipes clean the blood from Adam's mouth. Next, she wiped Jess' b.l.o.o.d.y mouth and her b.l.o.o.d.y fingers.

She scopes her own vomit in the floor with the same towel and dumps it on the dustbin inside the bathroom. She picked up the two knives, the saucer, and the spoon and put it back in the bag.

After making sure she already has taken care of everything...she exited Adam's room in haste.

She went downstairs in a hurry...she entered her room and disposed of the small bag in the dustbin in her toilet. She checked for blood in her hands, to make sure, she poured a good amount of alcohol in his hands and arms. She looks at herself in the mirror and composed herself.

She needs to be ready for their coming...

She walks slowly into the living room of the mansion and sat down on the sofa. Her rigid body facing the main door of the mansion.

She inhales and exhales air...calming herself.

A few minutes later...hundreds of black-cloaked vampires descended on the ground of the mansion.
