As seconds pa.s.sed by, Aimei sensed that her body temperature increased. It brought a terrible sensation as her throat felt dry. She desperately reaching for a gla.s.s of water before chugging it down her throat. But it did nothing to her.

Her mind became dizzy as she realised something was off. Her eyes fell on the wine gla.s.s before her.

"Hey! What's wrong with her?" One the man in the room noticed Aimei's peculiar condition.

"No way! Is she being drugged?" The woman in yellow dress exclaimed in shock.

"What?"

The women left the chess game and immediately went to Aimei's side. Aimei was moaning in pain, it was clear that she was in a daze. Bearing the insufferable heat, she tried to take off the dress straps but her friends abruptly stopped her actions.

"What are you doing?"

"Aimei! Wake up!"

Aimei tried to open her eyes but her sight was blurry. Yet, she could see the cold figure who was watching him calmly, as if he was watching a clown making a fool of herself. She tried to push her friends away yet her strength was weakening gradually.

"It's so hot.... help me..."

Ren who was silently watching the woman smiled yet there was no warmth on his face. He called for an attendant who once given the order, he quickly went into the bathroom inside the private room. Soon, there was sound of water filled the tub.

While the two women were trying to prevent Aimei from unconsciously embarra.s.sing herself, the men had stopped playing entirely. Judging from her condition, it was like she had been drugged by a love potion.

"Who drugged her though?" The bespectacled man stood next to Hiroki asked in a low voice. Hiroki shrugged. He didn't dare to voice out his thoughts. He silently eyed Ren who was still calm.

Aimei was talking to Mr. Fuse while all of them was focusing on their game. It was supposed to be his doing, right? After all, which man could resist a beautiful woman like Aimei? But, if it was Mr. Fuse's doing, wasn't he supposed to bring her to his suite?

While they were still confused with what was happening to Aimei, two bulky bodyguards entered the room. They walked to Ren's side.

"Sir, you called for us?"

Ren nodded slightly before jerked his chin towards Aimei's direction. The bodyguards didn't ask for further instructions. Although this scene was a rare one, they already knew what they needed to do.

The bodyguards went to Aimei who was still trying to take off her dress. Her two friends stepped aside when they saw President Fuse had sent a 'help'. One of the bodyguards carried Aimei while the other one wrapped her in a blanket in order to prevent her from flailing her hands. They swiftly walked to the bathroom.

"Hey! What are you doing?" The girl in pink asked when they saw the bodyguards were heading towards the bathroom.

"Yes! Isn't she supposed to receive a treatment?" The bespectacled man spoke.

The bodyguards didn't pay any attention to what they were saying. Both of them vanished inside the bathroom. The two women exchanged a look with each other before running towards the bathroom. Before they stepped inside, a loud splas.h.i.+ng sound could be heard.

Splas.h.!.+

"Ah!" The woman in yellow exclaimed in shock.

"Why? What's happening?"

The men couldn't contain their curiosity anymore. They too went inside the bathroom. Their expression froze when they saw what the bodyguards had done to Aimei.

She was thrown inside a bathtub! Filled with icy cold water!

Aimei was lying in the tub. The cold water seeped through the blanket wrapped around her body. She was still moaning in pain.

"Mr. Fuse, what's the meaning of this?" Hiroki turned his head. He looked at Ren who was still looking as calm and collected as before.

Ren sneered. "Couldn't you tell? Tell her, don't ever dream to climb my bed. She's not worth it."

Having said his piece, Ren turned around to leave the room. Hiroki and his friends were dumbstruck. They could only watch the man left in imposing manner. Only after the view of his back disappeared from their sight, they snapped out of their senses.

"Aye, aye. I thought I could finally relax but it seems like I've a job to be done."

Tos.h.i.+ro finally stood up from his seat at the game table. He put his hands in the pockets and walked to the bathroom.

"Mr. Moris.h.i.+ta..."

The bespectacled man found that it was hard to believe. The heiress was a beautiful woman, couldn't he see that?

"Even without any drug, women would always find ways to get his attention."

"Okay! Okay! The show's over. Move aside. I need to treat her quickly." Tos.h.i.+ro clapped his hands to disperse the small crowd. They quickly formed two lines at each side and let Tos.h.i.+ro walked to the bath tub.

"Call an ambulance. We need to send her to the hospital." Tos.h.i.+ro told the bodyguards after he was done with a simple check up. "It seems like the drug is quite powerful. Someone, go and get this little miss' bag!"

"Okay!"

While Tos.h.i.+ro and Akas.h.i.+ were forced to deal with the mess, the man who was responsible in creating the scene had already left the hotel.
