Morning After

As the darkness in the sky slowly disappears, the sunlight lights up the horizon.

As the morning sun rose up into the sky, it wakes up the sleeping city.

As rush hour sets in, Seoul's streets became loud and crowded.

The sunlight creeps through the dark tinted windows of the apartment.

As Hora and I had been in the throughs of love all night, we held each other close as we slept.

The dry and somewhat hot sunlight s.h.i.+nes on my face, as I frown and struggle for a while before finally opening my eyes.

Although I was awake, deep inside, I was still dumbfounded.

I turned to the warm and tender body that had pressed against mine. As if she was afraid that I might disappear, she wraps around my waist tightly.

My mind slowly wakes up.

Facing Hora, the Ice G.o.ddess, her pretty little face was still red and tender, the beautiful flower has fully bloomed.

Even in her sleep, she brings me a strong sense of comfort and joy.

Sitting up carefully, I try not to wake her from her slumber.

After a while, I sighed softly

The burning desire that had been in my heart for two lives has slowly disappeared during that night, but with it came a new feeling….. Something a.s.suring and confident.

Lifting my head, I look out the window and see the glittering surface of the Han river.

Hora, who is still sleeping, moves a tiny bit as she snuggles up to me like a kitten.

There were still dots of the purest red blood on the sheets, as I finally wake up.

Reaching out with my hand, I can't stop the urge to pinch Hora's adorable face.

Her skin was fair, soft, tender and lovely, so I lightly pinching her as I say softly, "The sun is up already, Get up dear."

"Not yet. Uhhhng… 10 more minutes" She says as she slaps my hand away, and pouts subconsciously.

"Okay, sleep a bit longer. What do you want for breakfast?" I ask her gently as I peck her on the mouth.

She lightly moans, "Bibimpap"

"Bibimbap? Okay" I chuckle as I get out of bed and head to the kitchen.

After getting out of bed, I stretch and make all sorts of noises as I head to the kitchen. Picking up my cell phone along the way.

As I am busying with the ingredients for our morning meal, my cell phone rings with the sound of a text message arriving.

Reading the contents, I can't help but clench my teeth.

I guess breakfast is going to have to wait.

Hurrying back to the bedroom, to inform a now fully awake hora, whose curves are mostly covered by a thin cashmere blanket. Only a portion of her smooth, snow-white shoulder is exposed to the air. A sight that was extremely enticing and arousing.

Noticing my stare and proud of her effect on me, a hard to see smile fits her face "If you want to… we can do it again?" she asked.

At those words, I felt an undeniable surge of desire for more . Then again, it was just l.u.s.t and nothing more. Not that I had anything left in the tank to take care of it as I might have gone a little bit too crazy last night.

"Rest for today, Baechu" I said while shaking my head, "We'll have all the time. No need to rush" I said as I make my way over and gave her a kiss on her forehead causing her to squirm.

"I asked Yuri-noona to bring round breakfast. I have to go out for a bit"

"Now?" She asks poutingly

"For a short while. It won't be long.. I promise"

"Okay" She says, "I guess I have to shower now, can't have Yuri-noona give me the speech again" She says jokingly

"You too? She gave me a whole escapade about how we might accidentally put a bun in the oven, you want to know what I told her?"

"What did you say?"

"I told her that we will open a bakery one day. I want many little bun buns with my little rabbit"

"Hey! I'm not a factory!"

"I love you.. Baechu" I suddenly say cutting her off, causing her to stop her rant in mid-way.

"No fair… I love you too … idiot. Now you better leave before you miss your important meeting"

I look once more into the most beautiful eyes I had ever seen. The soft l.u.s.tre which contains the window to her soul. The same window that showed her devotion and affection, so concentrated and thick that there is no way they would ever disappear.

I once more reach in and pull her close. Gently kissing her ears. "When I woke up I didn't dare to open my eyes" I say quietly "I even thought it might just be another wet dream and that the moment I wake up, it would all be gone"

"I'm not going anywhere" She says

"Promise?"

"Yes"

"Forever?"

"Forever Together" She affirms again, as I rest my head atop hers

Sighing internally, I think back to information I read this morning reaffirming my determination,

'Baechu… I will never let anything or anyone hurt you.'
