I push open the metal door and look out into the concrete laden s.p.a.ce, seeing a short girl with long wavy hair standing in the center looking down at her feet, fiddling with her hands.

She finally looks up and I see her face fully. Her eyes are crescent shaped with thick eyebrows and clear bright porcelain skin.
