My Obsession 23 You Can't Force Love.

Tong Yue-Yan walked over with a tray of cut up fruits for the both of them to nosh along. Tong Yue-Yan carried the plate with both her hands and when she bends down to place the dish on the table in front of them. Grandfather Yang said jokingly, "My! Yue-Yan is already behaving like a good grand-daughter-in-law already."

Tong Yue-Yan blushes as she faces away from them shyly "Grandfather Yang, you are embarra.s.sing me." As she smiled secretly. Her smile was sweet like she had already become his wife. However, the look on Yang Tian-Xu's face shows he felt annoyed.

"Ye-Ye, it is getting late. Miss Tong should be on her way home now." He said with a serious look on his face. Yang Tian-Xu wanted her to leave Tian-Bo-Fu, he just doesn't want his family to like her any more than they already are, because once he introduces w.a.n.g Yi-An to his family. How would they be treating her?

"What? She can stay and have a longer chat with our family. Yue-Yan is such a sweet child." Grandfather Yang said as he smiled at Tong Yue-Yan, Grandfather Yang wanted Tong Yue-Yan to stay longer, after all, she has been visiting him so much that he felt like she should be a part of the family.

Tong Yue-Yan was saddened when she heard him speak. She could only think that he wanted her to leave already. Tong Yue-Yan didn't argue, or beg to stay; she wanted Yang Tian-Xu to like her, so she slightly bows to Grandfather Yang and told him, "Tian-Xu is right, it is very late already I shall take my leave and return home, I wouldn't want my auntie to worry." She said as she makes an excuse to leave.

Grandfather Yang was very understandable; Tong Yue-Yan is still a young lady of the Tong family. She must not stay too late at the Yang Family without her elders there. And so Grandfather Yang told Yang Tian-Xu, "Tian-Xu you should go see her take off safely with her ride home."

"Yes, Ye-Ye." Yang Tian-Xu replied obediently and got up, as he looked at Tong Yue-Yan, he said, "We should get going before it gets too late." Tong Yue-Yan nodded, and bid her farewell to Grandfather Yang before she left with Yang Tian-Xu.

Yang Tian-Xu and Tong Yue-Yan had to walk thru the Garden before they headed out towards the main gates of the Tian-Bo-Fu. The Tian-Bo-Fu has a beautiful large garden. As much as Yang Tian-Xu hated the fact that he has to be the one to send her off, he still did what he was told.

Meanwhile, Grandfather Yang thought that perhaps they would get a chance to spend a little more time to get to know each other.

The scenery surrounding them was a field of beautiful roses and flowers. It smells refres.h.i.+ng in the first week of May. The flowers are all starting to bloom beautifully, as they walked, he thought about how great it would be if the person next to him were w.a.n.g Yi-An.

Yang Tian-Xu know that the woman that his parents want him to marry was Tong Yue-Yan, they couldn't have made it more visible. Now, even his grandfather has taken a liking towards Tong Yue-Yan. Then he suddenly begins to think to himself, "What if my family objects us from being together? What would she do?"

There was a sweet smile on Tong Yue-Yan's face as she walked side-by-side with Yang Tian-Xu, at this moment she was sure that she had his entire family on her side. However, suddenly he asked her, "Can I ask you a question, Miss Tong?"

"Yes, of course, you can." While she thought, "Is he going to propose to me already? That is so fast!" As she smiled at him waiting for him for his question. And so they both stopped at their place for a moment as he asked her the question.

"What if the family of the person you love object you two from being together, what would you do?"

Yang Tian-Xu had a severe look on his face. However, Tong Yue-Yan started to giggle at the question and asked him, "How can that ever happen? Your family loves me." She couldn't stop the grin on her face. However, Yang Tian-Xu knew it was a fact, and it wasn't just only his parents who love her.

Now that Grandfather Yang had taken a liking to her, it annoys him so. He was most annoyed by her overconfidence. "You are very confident aren't you?" He asked, "Can you just answer it as an if-factor."

"If…?" She looked puzzled as she thinks for a moment. Then, with her overconfidence att.i.tude, she replied to him with a smile, "I'm sure I can make anyone like me." Of course, Tong Yue-Yan was very confident in herself.

Who wouldn't want to fall in love with such a beautiful and educated girl like herself? Not only that she has the looks, but she also has the background to make every man on earth drools over her.

Yet, Yang Tian-Xu was the only man that could break down that confident of hers; he looked at her for a brief second before he told her, "It's a shame that my family likes you so, but I don't. I hope you can tell them that you don't really like me, that way it will s.h.i.+eld you from embarra.s.sment." He said as he turned around to walk away.

Tong Yue-Yan was shocked by what she hears. "You… Yang Tian-Xu!" She shouted his name, and he turned to look at her as she came up to him. "What do you mean by saying that?" She demanded an answer from him. How could he treat her so cold and cruel?

Yang Tian-Xu said it out loud and clear to her, "I thought I was very clear." Yang Tian-Xu pushes a b.u.t.ton to trigger the main gate to open wide, and he said word-per-word slowly, "I… Don't… Like… You…" then he signals for her to leave.

Tong Yue-Yan's face was flus.h.i.+ng red from anger as she walked out the gates. She had never been treated this way before! Ever! She was like a princess that was born with a silver spoon in her mouth.

How could she take this emotional-abused? She tried to calm herself down, but when she saw Yang Tian-Xu calls over her driver to bring the vehicle over, the anger boils up inside her blood.

She got into the vehicle quietly, how could she say anything more to him when he told her something like that? Tong Yue-Yan thought that it was a sure thing that Yang Tian-Xu would become her husband. However, it was a sudden shot down, and she left the Tian-Bo-Fu feeling all furious inside.
