My Obsession 35 That's Not Good...

Yang Tian-Xu's heart was beating faster as he steps closer to the supply room. Yang Tian-Xu can't remember when, but he had ever felt this way before; perhaps never. But at this moment, Yang Tian-Xu felt extremely nervous. There was a small imprint mark on his hand; formed by the bag due to his tight grip.

Yang Tian-Xu used to be someone who was always confident in himself. However, he can't seem to build that confidence when he is about to face w.a.n.g Yi-An. Yang Tian-Xu stood outside the door for a while, as he continually repeats himself, "Here An-An, I got you this phone… No! That's not good…" then he would pace back and forward.

Never before in Yang Tian-Xu's life had he ever been so nervous. The palm of his hands was red and sweaty. The redness came from squeezing the bag tightly, and the sweat was because he was just too nervous. He continued to be outside thinking to himself, of all the possible things he could say to her once he sees her. Yang Tian-Xu never notices the stares from his employees.

Random by-pa.s.sers would sneak a peek at him now and then. The employees would think that their President was acting unusual. They would not interrupt him because they knew how fuzzy President Yang would be if they did.

At often, President Yang gets lost in his thoughts for ideas and plans for the company. However, he would remain in his office to pace around back and forward like that. Today, he was walking back and forward in the hallway. The employees could only think that perhaps the problem that President Yang was dealing with was an extreme case.

However, how could they know that the reason why Yang Tian-Xu would become so agitated and filled with nervousness today, was because he was trying to build up his courage? For what? For being able to gift w.a.n.g Yi-An a smartphone.

The closed-door remains closed the entire time. Even behind a closed door, Yang Tian-Xu was still unable to control his emotions. The expression on his face makes him seem jittery, as he took a deep breath in, and he slowly breathes out. When he finally builds enough courage to open up the door, he saw her struggling to get something from high above her height.

w.a.n.g Yi-An was short, maybe a bit too short and the ceiling-high shelves were too high-up, and so she wasn't able to reach the supply she required. Even though, w.a.n.g Yi-An stood on a chair. However, with her height, she can only struggle to reach for the printer toner. It looked as if she would fall off the stool if she attempts to reach-out any higher.

Momentously, when she was about to fall; Yang Tian-Xu reacted instantly. Yang Tian-Xu dropped the small bag in his hand and rushed to her side to support her. Yang Tian-Xu was there just in time before she tipped over.

w.a.n.g Yi-An was a bit shocked. w.a.n.g Yi-An was so focused on trying to reach for the box, and she hasn't realised that someone had walked in. w.a.n.g Yi-An twisted her head over to look and saw that it was Yang Tian-Xu, he had his arms wrapped around her to support her.

"Thank you, President Yang." She said as she gave him a sweet smile. "I can't believe I'm actually this short." Then let out a laugh as she made fun of her height. Yang Tian-Xu remains in a daze as he kept his position.

Yang Tian-Xu remains in an embracing position, with his arms wrapped around her waist, she was tiny. She wasn't too skinny or too chubby, and she was like a perfect puzzle that can fit right into his arms. Yang Tian-Xu never wants to let her go, however. w.a.n.g Yi-An was a bit confused, and she had already regained her balance. w.a.n.g Yi-An did not need his support anymore, so she speaks up, "I'm alright now, you can put me down."

"No…" He said as he refused to let her go. There was a moment of pause for them both, only until Yang Tian-Xu said, "I'll help lift you up." And then he lifts her up higher, and so she was stunned. To support her weight, although she wasn't heavy at all. Nevertheless, he still needs to hold on to her tight as he lifted her up high.

"Ah… Okay…" w.a.n.g Yi-An didn't know what else to say, and with Yang Tian-Xu holding her up, she could conveniently reach the toner box now. w.a.n.g Yi-An had to print some of the templates out to review before she can send out the actual design file to the manufacturer. However, she finds that the printer was out of ink, and as an intern, it was her responsibility to refill the ink.

And so, w.a.n.g Yi-An went to the supply room and saw the previous employee that Yang Tian-Xu had just asked for w.a.n.g Yi-An's whereabouts. Nonetheless, w.a.n.g Yi-An didn't think that she would need help reaching for that toner box. Now, w.a.n.g Yi-An was a bit embarra.s.sed, because Yang Tian-Xu didn't need to lift her up like that!

Yang Tian-Xu could have taken the box down himself, and pa.s.s it to her. He was tall enough to do so. Nevertheless, Yang Tian-Xu chooses to lift her up. This feeling made w.a.n.g Yi-An blushed, "Um, President… You can. Ah...Put me down now…?" she said as soon as she secured the box in her hands.

Even though, w.a.n.g Yi-An had already obtained the toner box in her hands. He slowly slides her down as she supports him with his body. Their eyes met as he remains attached to her. w.a.n.g Yi-An was speechless as she slightly looked away from his gaze. "Um… President, you can put me down now…"
