w.a.n.g Yi-An was a bit confused by her mother's words. However, she only thought that her mother was just worried that she'd get bullied at work. "Don't worry mom. My boss is a decent man. He treats his employees really well!" She said as she gave her mother a sweet innocent smile.

The table they were sitting at was small, it only fits the two of them, and they sat across from each other. Mother w.a.n.g and w.a.n.g Yi-An each have their red-tray of food that they had ordered, and Mother w.a.n.g likes to have rice for lunch. w.a.n.g Yi-An prefers stir-fry noodles.

Mother w.a.n.g can only sigh as she told her, "He's only nice for now." And then, Mother w.a.n.g held her hands and said, "Remember you can't always trust people. Remember the idiom; You can see a person's face, but not their hearts."

"Yes, Mommy! If I start ever get mistreated at Yang Corps, I'll find another company to work at, Okay? It's only for a couple of months anyway, and I'll be fine." w.a.n.g Yi-An tried to rea.s.sure her mother's worried, as she gave her a big warm smile. And then she continued to eat the stir-fry noodles that she had ordered from a fast-food stall.

Mother w.a.n.g forced out a smile as she sighed, "You must like working at Yang Corps."

w.a.n.g Yi-An paused and stopped eating for a second and asked, "Would you rather I work for Pan Holdings?"

"I didn't say that!" Mother w.a.n.g let out an honest smile, the smiled filled with concern and sincerity, "You work wherever you feel happier, okay?"

"HM!" w.a.n.g Yi-An nodded and smiled at her.

"Okay," Mother w.a.n.g patted her daughter's hair and points to her food. "Hurry up and eat."

"I have a two-hour lunch! Lots of time! We can go shopping later!" w.a.n.g Yi-An chirped as she continues to eat, Mother w.a.n.g would sometimes take some food off of her plates and gave w.a.n.g Yi-An some. w.a.n.g Yi-An is happiest when she's with her mother.

They would laugh and talk and enjoyed their time together as mother and daughter. Later, when it was time for w.a.n.g Yi-An to get back to work, she would kiss her mother on the cheek like a little child. Then, Mother w.a.n.g would hug her once more, and leave the Yang Corps building.

In the Manager's Office, Yang Tian-Xu sat down impatiently as he waited for w.a.n.g Yi-An to return. He doesn't eat anything all day. However, he does not feel hungry. He looked everywhere for w.a.n.g Yi-An and her mother the entire lunch-break.

Yang Corps was just too big, and he felt depressed when he couldn't find them. He spent two hours searching for her. However, it was time he needs to return to the office. Yang Tian-Xu was becoming more and more impatient as he sits, pace around, and he even tries to focus on his work. How could he? The only thing he wants was to see w.a.n.g Yi-An.

Finally, w.a.n.g Yi-An had returned. She waved to her other co-workers and greeted them. The moment when he heard someone called her name, he bolted out. He was like a watch-dog that waited for her to return. Yang Tian-Xu rushed outside and saw her just as she approaches the desk.

"h.e.l.lo, President Yang." She smiled at him and gave him a slight bow.

Yang Tian-Xu's feelings of excitement when he sees w.a.n.g Yi-An had finally burst and overflowed. He couldn't say anything and just smiled at her. Then he turned around, and his face began to boil up, then he rushed back into the office, and slammed the door.

"Ah, dammit all!" He thought as he lifted his head up to the ceiling. He closed his eyes and began to feel frustrated. Like he might accidentally go out and grab onto her. He took a deep breath, as he tried to calm down his emotions.

Yang Tian-Xu felt powerless, as he continues to stare at her secretly from the window, he was in a corner hiding away. All Yang Tian-Xu wanted to do was watch her all day.

He would ignore his calls and when a.s.sistant Tseng came by to collect some doc.u.ments. Yang Tian-Xu had ignored him as well. In other words, he had neglected his duty as the President of Yang Corps.

"Ah… Boss… What are you doing?" a.s.sistant Tseng watches him, as he stood behind Yang Tian-Xu. When he saw that Yang Tian-Xu was busy watching w.a.n.g Yi-An, he can't help but smile awkwardly. "Boss, you are just too obsessed with her! You need to finish signing these contracts! I need your signature urgently!"

a.s.sistant Tseng's constant nags didn't bother him. Then he said, "Okay, okay." Then he would reach out to grab the doc.u.ment and signed it. He didn't even look at the papers.

"Boss!" a.s.sistant Tseng shouted, and his voice was so loud, that it had startled him.

"What!? G.o.d, you are loud." Yang Tian-Xu said as he glared at a.s.sistant Tseng for a few seconds, and then he would turn back to stalk w.a.n.g Yi-An.

a.s.sistant Tseng wanted to cry, as he let out a sigh, he thought to himself. "Why are you like this, boss? Oh, the amazing Yang Tian-Xu is now… Such a girl." Then he left as he felt so depressed to see his boss becoming someone so odd.

Just like that, the time pa.s.sed by, and soon the clock hits 5:00 PM. Yang Tian-Xu rushes out of the office, and he began to beg her, "Please! Allow me to take you home!" Then he paused for a second and continued, "I mean, please let me give you a ride home."

"Ah…" Surprise took w.a.n.g Yi-An, as he had come by and asked her so suddenly, and she doesn't know how to answer him.

But before she could say anything, he said. "Oh, I also wanted to drop by and thank Fung Qi-Wei as well for today. So I would be in the area."

"Oh…" w.a.n.g Yi-An had finally understood, then she smiled at him. "Sure! Thank you in advance!" Her smile was the sweetest one he had ever seen, and once again her smile had melted Yang Tian-Xu's heart.
