Dudu's Diary Chapter 13

Yuen Long bought a remote-controlled plane with Dudu in a toy store on the first floor. It's the latest model. Dudu liked it so much that it still felt unbelievable to him until his Dad finally paid and they walked out of the mall.

"Dad, is this plane really mine?"

"En" Yuen Long responded patiently, "It's really yours."

"Dad, it's really mine. Will I have a plane in the future?"

"Yes, you will have a plane."

Yuen Long's breath returned to him easily as he responded, "I'm not tired."

His mother always stopped every after two steps to gasped for breath, saying that he was so fat and that told him to lose weight. Although he doesn't admit it every time, he knows in his heart that he is indeed fat, but his father is not tired climbing the stairs while carrying Dudu. Is his father Superman?

It didn't take a minute to climb to the third floor. Yuen Long was about to ask which door was theirs but Dudu suddenly stopped and said, "Dad, wait a minute."

"What's the matter?"

Dudu's eyes suddenly became worried. He looked at one of the doors and gnawed at his little fat fingers. He seemed to want to say something but didn't know whether to say it or not. Unexpectedly, he also looks so funny while being hesitant.

Yuen Long rubbed his little meaty back, "What's the matter? Is there something you want to say to Dad? It doesn't matter. Just say it."

"That ...... that ......" Dudu's two fat hands twisted together, he leaned to the whisper to Yuen Long and begged, "Dad, can you promise me that once you see Mom, you don't abandon her, OK? Don't abandon Mom. "

Yuen Long was stunned. Unexpectedly, this little fellow struggled with this for a long time. He asked curiously, "Why does Dudu think so?"

Before she could finished speaking, she was choked when she saw the incredible figure at the door, and she's dumbfounded.

Dudu thought his mother was just as excited as he was and jumped up happily, "Mom, this is my surprise for you! Dad is back from saving the world. Are you happy, Mom?"

A tingle in Yu Shanshan subconsciously "snapped" that she subconsciously slammed the door, shutting out a father and son, one large and one small, while she herself whirled around the living room like a headless fly, even though she was now semi-disabled.

Dudu looked at the door closed again with an open mouth. He looked up at his father blankly, and wanted to cry.

The first time I took my father home, he just had to see my mother being crazy. My father must be planning to abandon my mother now.

Dudu turned gray and hugged his father's thigh pitifully. "Daddy....."

Yuen Long leaned over and picked up the child and looked at the closed door. He simply reached out and knocked on the door, "Yu Shanshan, open the door." he said coldly.

Five plain words stopped the headless fly Yu Shanshan from her rotating around aimlessly, her brain quickly woke up, knowing that not opening the door is useless, since it will eventually open sooner or later.

Gritting her teeth, Yu Shanshan went to open the door with a generous expression of death, but after walking two steps, she stopped to look at her clothes.

At home, she was wore a loose-fitting gown and pajamas, which were as wide as a bucket, and incomparably uglier on her body.

Yu Shanshan instantly turned and ran to the room, found her thinnest clothes from the wardrobe, put them on quickly, and ran to the bathroom to comb her hair to make sure she could face people now. She took a deep breath, opened the door like nothing, and gave way to the two people outside.

Yu Shanshan also did not know what expression and att.i.tude she should face Yuen Long with, so she just pretend to look up at the sky. She doesn't even know what to say to him now and if she could, she wished he hadn't seen her.

Fortunately, Dudu was more reliable than his mother, and he looked like a hospitable little housekeeper. He immediately took his father to the sofa and sat down. He went to the refrigerator and brought a bottle of water to his father and put it in front of him. "Dad, please drink water," he said in a decent manner.

After thinking, he added, "Don't mention it, just feel at home."

This is what he learned when he was watching TV, and that's what he would say when he had a guest at home.

Yuen Long smiled and unscrewed the bottle cap and took a sip, giving the little fellow the honor.

Seeing that his father drank the water, Dudu did not have to run to the refrigerator, tiptoed to open the upper door then took out the fruit snacks inside. Finally he did not forget to take out a lovely one from the freezer below. Holding them together in his arms he ran back, and put it on the coffee table in front of Yuen Long.

"Dad, you eat fruits and popsicles."

Seeing that he wanted to bring all the delicious food to himself, Yuen Long smiled and rubbed his little head. "Dad is not hungry. Dudu can eat them himself."

Dudu happily took a banana, peeled it and took a bite. It wasn't until he swallowed it that he remembered his old mother, who was still standing alone at the door, and hurriedly waved to her, "Mom, come here!"

Yu Shanshan had to move with small steps back to the sofa. But she didn't dare to get too close so she only sat on the farthest end.

Dudu did not find anything wrong, he happily showed his remote control plane to his mother, "Mom, look, Dad bought me a plane."

"Oh." Yu Shanshan was not in the mood to discuss toys with the fat man at the moment, and the remaining light in the corner of her eye kept peeking at the movement in Yuen Long, guessing when he will ask her about Dudu or discuss what to do after Dudu.

He is a responsible man and didn't know that Dudu exist. Shanshan is sure he'll ask him for Dudu's custody now. But it was impossible for her to give it to him. Dudu was hers, and she wouldn't give it to anyone.

However, Yuen Long has been playing with Dudu, not even giving her a look, let alone talking.

It sounds like she definitely didn't often order takeout even back when her leg wasn't broken.
