Seriously, that guy's way too annoying! I may not have experience it more than once but…
As if I want to experience his armalite-like mouth again! I won't be able to bear with him even with just a short conversation.
And even if my soul can, my temper, which is ridiculously way too short, can't!
I reached for my pen, wanting to tell Wei something but I remembered I can talk when I saw Wei slowly shaking his head while ma.s.saging his head like he was getting tired of reminding me over and over again that I still can talk.
Out of embarra.s.sment, I rapidly said my words like an ammunation.
"Impossible. I can't bear talking with that guy. Think of another soul."
For some reason, I suddenly had this feeling that whom he's going to suggest next wouldn't be someone I liked. No, I actually think that I somehow despise that soul.
"How about Reid-"
I knew it! I knew he will say his name next! As if I'll ever ask for his help voluntarily again! But wait, I don't despise him so my guess was somehow wrong.
Hehe~
"Even more impossible!" Contrary to my inward embarra.s.sment, I angrily shouted at Wei.
Although we, Reidn and I, recently 'made up' with the help a.k.a. notebook he gave me, it still won't change the fact that he's way too unreliable to even be considered an option for asking help. No, that'll never happen ever again!
For the sake of Austin, the physician who just left this dimension, I vow to never ask for his help again!
Uhmm….. Unless it was the final resort, I guess?
Noticing that I was having an inner conflict, Wei gave me a special piece of advice, "It'll be more convenient to ask for help from those who can talk, you know? At least, they'll be able to tell you their thoughts easily."
He's actually right, but still….
I heavily let out a sigh, making my deep annoyance with the situation apparent. Seeing that I'm starting to get p.i.s.sed off, Wei suggested another one.
"Then, how about Erin?"
I silently glared at him, making him immediately try to change the topic. I'm okay with Erin, she's my friend after all but you see, there's one thing all my friends have in common:
Being a chatterbox.
"Why don't you just suggest yourself, once and for all?" I asked him while gnas.h.i.+ng my teeth. Telling me to ask Erin for help was like saying to burn myself with the fire I, myself made.
Just in case you were wondering, Wei's the worst chatterbox I've ever met in my life. Or death. Whatever.
Afterlife? UGHHHHH!
In the middle of my nonsensical thoughts, I noticed that Wei was blus.h.i.+ng hard. Knowing that he's incredibly embarra.s.sed, I let out another sigh and looked for another topic to talk about. I remembered the plot I just made before the 'ask for help' conversation happened and consulted him about it. That immediately stopped the awkwardness from brewing.
Sigh, please blame my temper for what happened, is happening and everything that will happen in the future. Seriously, don't ever hold back when doing that. We need to teach my temper a lesson.

After helping me develop the plot into a much more interesting one, Wei bid me goodbye and walked away. I just smiled and busied myself with the story again.
Who knows how many sentences I've already written but when I turned around, Wei was still there, staring at me.
There was something peculiar with his gaze. It was as if he wanted to dig my brain out of me and observe it closely. And no, it wasn't because his face was easy to read – he was literally mumbling about it.
Controlling my temper, I snapped my fingers in front of his eyes and it was as if he woke up from a bad dream when he shook his head harshly. I looked at his eyes, sending a message telepathically when I remembered I still can talk.
So dumb, deym.
"Why are you still here? Do you want to stay here forever?" I asked, trying my best to not have an anger outburst. He just looked me in disbelief and scoffed before answering my question.
"And how can I leave after you closed this s.p.a.ce so tightly? If you can tell me even one way to leave without you doing anything, I will gladly stay here until the end of my job." He sarcastically replied.
Oh, right. The barrier, I need to get rid of it to let him leave. Gosh, this is so humiliating!
Being embarra.s.sed by so much, I lost control of my temper and shouted "Leave!" making Wei disappear from my cubicle without a trace.
After a sigh, I went back to my seat and continued my work.
Well, things were meant to go this way anyway especially with my hotheadedness, might as well as treat it like nothing ever happened.
It's not the first time I kicked Wei out of my cubicle.
